“Wanted to grab some bubble tea late at night and our usual spot had already closed for the day. We were greeted by a super friendly man who gave us some recommendations and we ended up ordering the watermelon and grape tea combo (which was a pretty good deal, and both drinks were super yummy!)

Will definitely be coming back for the watermelon and grape tea and super excited to try the other flavours they have as well.“

Crispy milk curd (It has been a long time since I've had a good one. This is really good! Not oily, crunchy exterior, creamy and soft texture. “This is our favourite spot for yogurt drinks and they have the best mochi. The mochi is a bit thick and hard to drink through the straw though. The menu is extensive with so many flavours and toppings. We love the mango purple rice yogurt and adding mochi. The price is the same as most other yogurt spots. I also enjoy the ability to adjust sugar and ice level. I like getting half ice so it’s more yogurty rather than more watery/icy. Our takeout came in a cute bag, we’d definitely order here again.“

“I have gone to several other machi machi locations but this midland plaza machi machi is the only one that makes the grapefruit slush good. Not sure what they do differently than the other stores but I have come back to midland for this drink alone and consistently get the same result! “The best fruit bubble tea you can get in Toronto. Annie’s Tea House is ridiculously good, and well priced. She uses fresh fruits and boba is included as a topping everytime. The space is a bit small so seating is limited, but a great place for boba if you’re in the area and want to skip the big chains.“

“I enjoyed the Mango Sago. But too sweet. The Sago and aloe jelly compliment the drink nicely. I gave mine a good shake, as suggested by the person at the counter. My friend got the same drink but drank her's without shaking it. I got to say unshaken is DELISH! You really get the mango flavour. Next time I go I will probably drink mine unshaken!

Gong cha bubble tea taste always good. The other competitors always let me down because the tea is too fake, and like syrup drink more than tea.“

“Service is friendly and lots of options to choose from since it's the full service Coco location. They have cute paintings of Coco and the Toronto landscape inside which makes for a great environment for kids.

Seating area is small and outdated but many people order and leave to walk around the mall anyways.

My only concern is the intercom they speak out of behind their glass is static-y and hard to hear sometimes. Be prepared to ask for clarification.

I used to enjoy Tenren’s tea in Hong Kong as well, so it’s definitely a great memory.
However, I wish the price is more affordable, as almost 10 dollars for a tall size drink is quite expensive.
The environment is not bad, with relaxing music, but no places to sit.

On the other hand, the baristas here are like a hidden gem. Very friendly, always having smile, and very efficient in making drinks.

“I wanted to try real fruit for a while since a lot of people I knew went there and told me about it. I live near a location but I stumbled upon this one today at Cedarbrae mall. I went in thinking it would be packed and surprisingly wasn’t as only two girls were working there and not many people were inside at once. The girl at the counter took my order for an original milk tea. The wait was short too it only took 1-3 minutes to receive my order. But one complaint I have is the size of the place as it was very small almost like an outlet pop up store which does make sense as it’s in a mall. Overall the experience wasn’t bad I definitely think I’ll come back to real fruit again.“
