“The service and food was 10/10. Chilly chicken was fresh, tender, and so juicy. The noodles complimented the dishes so well and the family run business was always checking-in on customers.
It's refreshing to have a fabulous hakka spot because Fredericks and other hakka spots usually give old, burned food!

“Hole in the wall in a strip plaza. Take out only. Cash only. Must order in advance early to reserve popular menu items and book a pickup time. It was packed when we went to pick up our order. Great phone etiquette. Very polite and patient. Food tastes just like from Malaysia. Of course not Malaysian prices. Dishes had good “wok hay”.“

“Ordered Shanghai Noodles, Ho Fun, Yang Chow Fried Rice and a spring roll. Shanghai noodles were kinda bland. Not much flavour and no way to comment on Uber to add some spice. Got a chili crisp cup but it still was kinda flat tasting. Ho fun was just OK too. Kinda dry and not many spring onions, also not very flavourful. Kinda boring. The fried rice on the other hand was great. Highly suggest that one, and the spring roll was pretty good as well. 4 is a fair score for the food I got here.“

“Absolutely amazing Chinese food, was recommended by a family member and it didn’t disappoint! I will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for non Hakka Chinese food. I had a family meal that came with fried rice, noodles, chicken wings, chicken balls, spring rolls and chicken chop suey for around $40. Everything was delicious!“

“We’ve been going to this place for awhile now , my hubby loves one of the soup menu , the chow mein noodles which we always have to ask them to remove or add ingredients and they are always very accommodating. My hubby is a picky eater. Price is pretty reasonable.“

“What a great find! First time here because of the excellent reviews. It's a takeout place, so don't expect to dine in. Very simple setup with the kitchen in the back and just a cashier to take orders. I ordered the 3-color vegetable liang pi. The noodles were so chewy and bouncy, has a nice texture and very tasty! I ended up using all the chili sauce and vinegar; I could actually add more chili. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the items on the menu. I love that they offer a variety of liang pi and not just the classic version that you can find everywhere. Also highly affordable and filling, only $8. Highly recommend!“

“The food is really good, but it is very empty at lunch time and weekdays. We were the only people at the whole restaurant. The food is not bad, and the lobster, beef, and lamb is a must try. You need to ask for the normal non-spicy or marinated meat, or it might just be out there. The food doesn't feel as fresh, as it is just sitting out there, and there are a few flies flying around.“

“My friend, who was born and raised around here, took me to the place! Without even looking at the menu, he walked straight up to the counter and ordered #38.
I was surprised when they told us it would take about 30 minutes, but after eating them, I understood. They were absolutely worth the wait! Eight freshly made pan-fried pork buns, cooked to order.
They had apparently gone up in price, but they were still only $9. In a world where the price of practically everything keeps going up, I can only be truly grateful to them for keeping these at such a reasonable price.
I usually don’t order pan-fried buns because I prefer fluffy, steamed bun dough. But…, nicely browned and fragrant on the bottom, filled with plenty of hot soup inside, and topped with soft, fluffy dough, yes it was perfect. I’m not a fan of the heavy, greasy quality that Chinese food can sometimes have, but there was none of that unpleasant greasiness.
He has already suggested that we try #15, the braised beef wrap, next time... I have to try even more things, not only the wrap.“

Their #9, beef with black bean sauce on flat rice noodles, is a regular for me. So far, all of their fried rice dishes have been excellent. The lady is really nice and a pleasure to meet every time.
The only worry I have is the day they retire - where will I get my 'wok hai'?“

“This is a nice, authentic Chinese restaurant! The food was good, and surprisingly, it came out very quickly. We walked in without a reservation and waited about 30 minutes for a table for two. I’m not sure if they take reservations.
The restaurant was quite loud and crowded, which was a little uncomfortable, but overall, we were still very satisfied with the food and would come back.“

“Had a great time at Omni Noodle. The place was lively and full of customers. Ordered their brisket noodle soup with medium round noodles and got some dumplings on the side to share. The broth was very comforting and the chunks of brisket were so tender! The dumplings had a great chew to them and the vinegar they were drowned in elevated the dish. I could order 10 more of these!“

The cold noodles and crispy pork were amazing! The assorted dumplings were a bit more mixed for me. Some of the flavors were quite strong, especially the one with celery and peppers inside. That said, I really enjoyed the chive and pork dumplings!
The atmosphere is just okay, but considering the portion sizes, quality, and price, I think this place offers great value. If you’re looking for authentic, home-style Chinese food without spending too much, this is definitely worth trying.“

The meat skewers were a favourite :) Servers were incredibly kind and very helpful in accommodating a toddler with a high chair and special plate and utensils. Very clean and fun atmosphere as they were playing a World Cup game on a large projector. Works recommend and come again.“

“Chai Kee has similar style as the previous Jim Chai Kee in Richmond hill. The difference is that this one is self served style with a famous speciality - pork liver noodle. Pork liver is something you cannot make it well and at Chai Kee, it is very well made. Their menu is somewhat specialized a beef, pork liver and fish ball (more like fresh fish paste) . They have nice noodles , deep fried fish skin and for some reason, they have condensed milk toast with milk tea. I have been there at least four times :) At the beginning , it was very crowded but now it is a nice busy pace. I love their pork liver and beef noodle . I also had fish ball and liver noodle too. What I liked about them: 1. Amazing price 2. Good food and the pork liver is amazing 3. Very clean 4. Nice service So I’d recommend chai Kee for a good wholesome noodle place For an amazing price“

“The rice was pretty flavorful but very oily. Absolutely in love with the chicken skewers - soft, juicy and mild flavor with that promised charcoal smell. The lamb kidney skewers were for me undercook but my husband loved it. The lamb skewers were soft and cooked medium rare. Overall good experience!“

“This morning was my first time ordering from Asian Fusion and the food is absolutely delicious, fresh and both combos were still hot by the time I got home. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice and Vegetables for myself and got the Salt and Pepper Chicken with Noodles and Vegetables for my Husband. Both were portioned very well and at a reasonable price. We both enjoyed it! The owner currently working right now is very friendly and kind. This restaurant is officially my go to and I highly recommend eating at this wonderful establishment.“

“Brought my mom to one of her favorite food spots today! This place may not look fancy or big it’s actually a pretty small restaurant but the chef makes incredible dishes. Mom always orders their spicy fish, and we also got a spicy sour cabbage and their signature fried pancake dish (the pancakes are sliced into noodle form and stir-fried with bean sprouts). Everything was so good! The portions are generous too, we even had leftovers. Highly recommend this place, and the customer service is amazing as always!“

“I was fortunate enough to eat like an Oriental gourmet king. The Oyster Egg Omelette is the breakfast of your dreams, with a chewy, gooey base created from sweet potato starch, reminding you of soft mochi. The embedded egg omelette is pan-fried to a golden brown, offering toasty, nutty Maillard umami while absorbing the fragrant oil. The outer edge adds a richer, more eggy bite, whereas the tender oysters add a pleasant seafood umami. Duck smoked on a sugar cane sounds irresistible, and the smoky skin sheepishly concealing the tender, juicy meat showcases a brilliant play between the delicate sweetness and the savory smoky seasoning. Sweet and sour pork is not created equal; each chunk of pork retains a pleasurable crisp that bursts with a tender, juicy meaty bite. The sauce balances sweet and acidity, bright and appetizing, clinging to the batter without softening it. The tofu stew would certainly be a Buddha’s delight, packed with tons of vegetables, mushrooms and tofu. The coarsely mashed taro, cooked until creamy, provides a sweet, earthy membrane with a nutty aroma - simple yet satisfying.

“I was driving north on Kingston Road looking for something quick, cheap, and no-frills when I noticed this place. I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the chicken balls, with an order of spicy chili chicken and fried rice. Each item was $6.95, which is almost unheard of these days.
I definitely wasn’t looking for a healthy meal as you can see. The chicken balls were deep-fried, tender, and juicy inside, with that bright (allura)red sweet-and-sour sauce. It’s a classic combination and exactly what you expect from an old-school Chinese takeout spot.
The spicy chili chicken had good flavour, and everything worked well with the fried rice. This isn’t the kind of place you come to looking for a highly authentic dining experience. It’s simple, affordable comfort food that does the job.
The older couple working there were also very pleasant and friendly, which added to the experience. For under $7 each item, it was a solid little find on Kingston Road.“
