“I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the ambience here is amazing! We ordered a few dishes based on the recommendations from our server and the scallion fried rice was hands down the best and it goes so well with the char siu. Highly recommend!“

“The food here is great and it’s a fun place to go for an experience. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because the staff makes it difficult to enjoy a meal & conversation with friends because they are constantly interrupting to refill your drink, remove empty plates , or standing right beside your table essentially waiting for you to need something.
It’s definitely top notch service and I love how friendly everyone is but it can be a bit excessive sometimes and not a very relaxing experience since you’re so overstimulated by the loud atmosphere and constant interruptions to your conversations. I felt somewhat babysat during the experience today and could not enjoy my time when being interrupted every 5-10 minutes for 2 hours when no one specifically needed/wanted anything.
I truly do appreciate all the effort that the staff puts into giving good service, but still would have preferred a bit more space throughout the night.“

“Had an amazing meal here last night. There were 5 of us and we ended us sharing 2 apps, 2 smalls and 3 larges as well as a dessert! Everything was so flavourful and unique and we all had a different favourite. For me it was the bao, other important mentions are the fried chicken and fried rice. Highly recommend.
A special shoutout to our server (Ray?) who provided us with so many helpful tips to make sure we had the best meal. He really brought the whole experience together.“

“Great dinner at Mandarin Yonge to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival. This visit we tried a few new items fro the Small Eats. The teriyaki salmon, teriyaki meatballs and tofu were delicious. Salmon was cooked to perfection. As always Paddy and our server Amy made our evening extra special. Looking forward to our next visit.“

“The dining experience at Liu Gong Grilled Fish was great! The skin of the grilled fish is crispy, the meat is tender, the soup base is rich and spicy, and the vegetables and mushrooms that are paired with it are also very fresh. Every bite is full of rich flavor. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing among many people. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!“

“We have ordered for years but unfortunately I am never able to order on line. I have repeatedly tried but once I get to submit my order it will not allow. I live very close to the Parliament Street outlet. I have accumulated loyalty points but ever since they moved to Calibre I have not been able to order on line. Please, can someone let me know how to fix this clich. When I phone to place my order the staff say they will take my concern to the owner but nothing ever happens. I am very frustrated!!“

“Stopped in after Cask Days at Bar Volo on St. Nicholas and we were just looking for anything fun in the neighbourhood. A week later, I'm still thinking about two menu items: The coriander in bean curd roll skewer and soy sauced beef with cucumber and peanut.
It's so good that I'm thinking about how to reverse engineer the latter one for home.
Go. You won't regret it.“

“Food/sauce is very flavorful, atmosphere is great and you can watch him making the noodles. What’s not to like?? Oh yeah and the cat robot that delivered our appetizers was awesome! We’re here at noon on a Monday and I can’t believe this place isn’t packed; with this delicious food it should be. We’re on vacation but I wish they had one in Charleston! Two thumbs way up!!“

“I had some time to kill before my flight back to Halifax. I decided to visit GB, and I was not disappointed. The service was wonderful, my soup arrived quickly, it was delicious, very spicy just how I like it, and you, if you don't share my love for spicy food, they can serve it mild. I loved this place, when you want authentic hand pulled noodles, go to GB. Don't go to some chain. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I can't say enough nice things about GB. 10/10.“

“1st experience at A Szechuan Restaurant.
Warmly greeted, seated, I asked for recommendations, 2 were suggested.
We enjoy hot,spicy foods.
1 beef stir fry
1 tripe stir fry.
Both recommendations were excellent choices.
They were brought in a timely manner.
Both were well presented, plentiful, and delicious.
Service was very good, background music was delightful.
On our next visit to Downtown Toronto, we will definitely consider going there for a dinner again“

“Very friendly and accommodating restaurant. Ask for extra sauces - no problem. The food is very good and quantity very large. In general they give more. For the noodle dishes they give a lot of topping - more shrimp, beef, vegetables, etc. The dishes are also bigger than what you should expect. There is nothing fancy about the place, but if you are looking for good food and good service, this is a great place. Supreme Taste will be our regular Chinese restaurant.“

“Over the Christmas season we visited this little gem-hole in the wall walking (and snacking) from Downtown through Chinatown on the way to Kensington Market and Little Italy. A walk I highly suggest for those seeking food and shop options away from the core. It is just east of Chinatown amongst other Asian establishments and we ventured in funny enough based on positive Google reviews-the reviews are accurate. EXCELLENT value is an understatement, a neighboring table helped us choose from a somewhat complicated ordering process and we also viewed food coming out to help with our selections. We had the pies and dumplings but I encourage you to try a little of everything with these prices! This is a must return for me next time I am in this part of TO.“

“?Get a free lobster by showing this reel/ follow this page (Spend more than $98)
We found a nice spot in Chinatown that serves Chaoshan beef hotpot! Each cut of beef is brimming with flavor, and one whole plate of beef costs only $4.45!
I love how fresh their seafood is and the variety of meats. My favorite is the ox tongue; it is so tender and flavorful✨
Their beef soup base is relatively blander than the usual mala soup you’ll find in Chinese hotpot restaurants, but with their homemade sauce, you’ll get the best flavors from the meat.
?354 Spadina Ave
It’s the first time to eat Chaoshan hot pot here.
Although the soup base is a bit light, the ingredients are so fresh.
The homemade sauce is delicious
Beef is $4.45 a plate, a completely conscientious price
If you don’t want to eat spicy hot pot, this is a good choice
Follow my page/show and the reel staff will give you a swimming lobster?

“Went there for Friday lunch. They have a lunch set with 1 main & 2 side dishes. Had Siu mai ($2 extra) & mango salad as side dishes, beef Hor fun as main. Everything was good. Siu mai takes 15 min = since everything is served together, you have to wait for everything to be ready to get your food.

“Szechuan Noodle Bowl is a hidden gem for lovers of authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant may not be flashy, but it makes up for it with its flavorful dishes and generous portions. The menu is full of traditional Szechuan offerings, with a focus on bold flavors and spices. The hand-pulled noodles are a standout, offering a perfect texture and rich taste. The Dan Dan noodles and spicy beef noodle soup are customer favorites, delivering the perfect balance of heat and savory broth. The service is friendly and efficient, making it an ideal spot for both quick meals and leisurely dining. If you enjoy authentic, no-frills Chinese food with a kick, Szechuan Noodle Bowl is definitely worth a visit.“

“I highly recommend checking this restaurant out as it is affordable and the price is great for the portions you receive.
Service was quick and efficient. To order, you scan a QR code to access the menu and place the order online, then pay at the counter once finished.
It did not take long whatsoever for the food to come out either.
Portion of the ramen is great! Flavour was absolutely delicious and the hand pulled ramen noodles were a great consistency.
I had also got the shrimp dumplings and they were just as delicious.
The restaurants restrooms aren’t very accessible, as they are located downstairs, so be aware if you have mobility concerns!“

“I have watched this restaurant grow and change since its opening. You can really see the passion that the owner is putting into this business. In the last year I have seen many improvements, refinements, and new offerings that have impressed me. It would not surprise me if this becomes a popular franchise in the future. As someone who has been ordering food since the grand opening I am proud to be a regular here and look forward to the future of So Famous. I miss the wonton soup but your new offerings have blown me out of the water. This is Chinese takeaway refined and perfected. Please try any of their menu offerings and I am sure you will be impressed with not just the food but the service and atmosphere as well. Thank you for creating such an amazing restaurant.“

“atmosphere is lovely and the workers are extremely nice!
I did go into it knowing I was going to order a rice dish at a noodle spot (I was craving pork belly) and it was alright. it was a bit dry, and the rice was a bit hard too. the appetizer (duck breast + corn/cucumber) was delicious, but it is $5 for a single slice of duck breast. I was craving it so I enjoyed it, but it is a bit on the pricey side imo!
overall, I’d definitely go again to try their main speciality which would be noodle dishes, but for the pork belly I’d most likely not order again. the place is amazing for someone to go solo, with tons of desk space to store items so you don’t have to worry about those while you dine!“

“This is my absolutely favourite HongKong restaurant. Been here multiple times and never had a bad experience. The quality of the food is consistent, always amazing and I love the Russian soup, it’s flavourful and healthy.
Typically, you don’t expect any ‘service’ in Hongkong restaurants. But it’s not the same here, the server is always a hongkong lady, she smile a lot, she’s very welcoming and polite. She greets customers in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Anyways, she’s the super start and the soul of this restaurant.
I love both the food and the service here.“

“Small family run restaurant. Specializing in dumplings, with frozen dumplings available as well. Food was excellent, best Xiao Long Bao I've had in GTA. Majority of dumpling options are steamed. Wontons in chili oil (+ Tahini) was also very enjoyable. Agree with another reviewer, the chili oil is not hot. People running the place were very welcoming and nice (very little/no English), and it felt like old school family restaurant with someone's little grandaughter hanging out on a Sunday evening :) Very much enjoyed eating here, will happily visit again. Not a huge menu (big enough) but we enjoyed everything we ordered (too much, so good!). Only a couple small tables, am guessing most of their business is takeout.“

“Food was good- very well packed for takeout. BEWARE- there are 3 noodle me locations- each with the items numbered differently on their menu !! (Why??) the Toronto location is inexplicably called just “downtown “- well, the Hamilton location is also “downtown “. Leads to unnecessary confusion and incorrect orders. Make sure you are ordering the menu called “Hamilon “ or you will not get the correct order! ( ask me how I know…..)“

“One of the best Chinese food restaurants I’ve had in a while. Rice is so flavourful and high quality, and the fried & sauced meats stay crispy which is rare. Lazy susans on tables give a nostalgic feel for easy sharing. Lady taking orders is very kind. :) Must try this place!!!“

“Qin’s Garden is a fantastic find! The decor is charming—clean and fresh while still feeling warm and welcoming. It has a casual vibe, and the service is super prompt, which makes for an easy and enjoyable dining experience.
I was drawn here after seeing it all over Instagram, especially for the soup dumplings. While they were definitely the largest I’ve had in Toronto, they weren’t the best in terms of flavor. That said, the rest of the meal was excellent. The non-soup dumplings, noodle dishes, and rice dishes were all standouts—well-balanced in both flavors and textures, with generous portions and bold flavors. The extensive menu means there’s plenty more to explore, and I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.
If you’re coming for the soup dumplings, they’re worth a try if you prioritize size over taste, but otherwise, skip them and dive into the rest of the menu.“

“I always got my lunch here when I used to work at the PATH and I miss it a lot. They always have a long line during lunch hours so be prepared for it and that’s how you know you are getting authentic Cantonese cuisine here.

“To get to the point I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I want to come back to try different dishes. For this night I have tried 4 dishes mushroom+egg tofu, husband and wife beef, orange chicken and HK French toast.
I think the highlight of the night was the French toast. It was a delight and it was not too sweet. Also mushroom + egg tofu was game changer amongst other dishes where it smooth out other dishes when their mala hit too much. Husband and wife beef was good but some may dislike the fact that the meat being cold even if you anticipate it but I liked it a lot. Orange chicken was nicely done but as a Korean it was something that were reminiscent of other dishes but still well executed.“
