“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“I would love to give this place five stars. They're are often not open during their scheduled business hours. I've been here multiple times in the last few weeks at 12:00, which is when they say they open yet they are closed. I'm sitting here right now at 12:15 and their food truck is closed.“

“I grew up eating asian foods so trust me when I say, this is really delish Japanese food! We had the rainbow bowl, karage bowl, baked salmon, ramen, bao buns & the musubi, all super good. “I tried SushiLove for the first time today (Oregon City location) and I am hooked! The service and food were amazing. I couldn't decide what I wanted to try first, so I ordered a half order of the Glazed and Confused, half order of the Mother of Dragons and an order of the Starry Inari. SO SO good! My new go-to place. As someone with Celiac, I love that I can have this Sushi without any worries! Even the little soy sauce packet was gluten free. ❤“

“I love coming to Sushi Moto! I’ve brought many family members who have all enjoyed it as well. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I have a gluten allergy and they’re very accommodating and can alter things to be gluten free. They also have tamari! I haven’t tried a menu item I didn’t like. Plenty of options for the non sushi eaters too.“

“This place I would highly recommend. The serves here was very good and nice even though it took me forover for some people in my party to choose what they wanted. They also have good atmosphere and the tables are clean and doesn't take that much time to wait (5-10 minutes for my party). The food was also very good and I hope you guys are able to come her with a party and have a good time as well a I did when I came.

“I really like this restaurant. We arrived a few minutes before they opened, but the owner kindly let us in early. We had taken the tram up to the hospital and walked around, and I’m so glad we stumbled upon this spot. The sushi was fresh, and the portions were huge, definitely shareable. “I went here for the first time tonight (Friday, 6/30) at 5:15 PM. It was fabulous! Our server went out of the way with us, including looking into different types of tequila they have so my mom could have the perfect margarita. The food came out very quickly, our water was always full, and the ambiance was great. We had delicious chicken gyoza, shrimp gyoza, ebi tem, and chicken karaage don. It's some of the best Japanese food we've had in the Happy Valley/Clackamas area in a long time. We will definitely be back!“

“We were pleasantly surprised after we took a chance with this adorable restaurant. It's tucked away in a small shopping center off of 82nd in Clackamas.
The service was quick and friendly. They have an extensive Sushi menu, as well as other Japanese offerings like Tempura, Teriyaki, and Ramen. The prices are reasonable for the fare. We arrived at 730 on a Sunday night. By 8PM, they had more than half the tables full. This place was exactly what we wanted. We will be back.“

Are they as fresh as Mizumi in Tigard, probably not, but neither are 99% of the restaurants in Portland metro. I find the seasoning quite authentic. I find the food variety unmatched in Portland. I would love some of their recipes! The ***clown that faulted them for selling produce and other fare near the check out, obviously have never been to a Chinatown or to China. The trolling is totally uncalled for. This is a nice, appearing to be, a family operation with love and care put into the restaurant. We frequent this location and do not find any of those horrible comments to have any truth.“
