“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.

For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

“This little wine bar is an absolute gem! They have an incredible selection for both tasting and purchase. I tried my very first bubbly red here, and it was delightful. The servers were warm, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us find wines we’d love. The space itself is inviting, with beautiful art that makes you want to linger just a little longer. Highly recommend for wine lovers and anyone looking for a cozy, memorable spot in Portland.“

The great thing is you can bring food in from restaurants in the area if you want something different. TJ the owner, is just friendly enough with some East Coast flair. Always a good time at TV! “A perfect hideaway tiki bar! Looks like nothing from the outside, and then you walk into a themed dreamscape. Fantastic decor and experience that's a throwback to vintage tiki bars. Legit menu for rum enthusiasts, but the snackies were great, too.

Our server (Nathaniel, I think he said) was a proper mixologist who made helpful suggestions and was a joy to chat with and watch as he crafted drinks.

“Man...free barleywine samples and a blonde stout in the same voyage? Gotta be kidding me...yeah, pretty much the holy grail for one stop libation shopping in downtown PDX. Phenomenal selection even for the discerning brewsnob...and yeah, they have IPAs too. yay. 🤣🤷“

“What's not to love about Mayfly?! Mayfly always has one of the best draft and bottle selections in the Portland area that always feels new every time I come in. Prices are excellent, staff and the owner are wonderful people, and there are plenty of great events to check out each week. Also a great selection of food vendors during the weekend. I live in Vancouver and bike here regularly because It's my favorite spot within miles.“

“Popped in here on a whim to grab a drink. Ended up staying a lot longer than anticipated because everything was fantastic. My girlfriend had the seasonal cocktail flight which she loved (she especially loved the cute glasses and wonderful presentation). I tried two different cocktails which were unique and delicious. One was the pistachio sour which was excellent, and the other was the bourbon casserole which was just as good. The service was spot on, the vibes were immaculate, and I will be back. Don't miss out!“

“This may be one of my new favorite bars in Portland. Well made cocktails. Had the foreign panache and then ordered a Vesper off menu. Very well balanced on both. The decor, music, vibe, all perfect. Well done! I miss 24th and Meatballs but this is a welcome replacement!“

“My go to spot for delicious drinks and scrumptious nibbles. The vibes are always great. The servers are all amazing especially Quintin and Johnny! This place is great on summer nights sitting outside or a winter day escaping the rain. It’s always a great time at The Love Shack!“

“Best Mezcal selection in the country! Their Mezcal wall is so impressive. Dan and Brendon are artists at cocktail making. Delicious cocktails. They are super nice and we learned a lot about Mezcal. The Brussels sprouts Caesar is amazing! Whatever sauce is in it should be bottled. The tacos melt in your mouth. So delicious. The atmosphere is dark, moody, toasty. Great on a fall/winter night!“

“We tasted a couple of flights and a glass of Pét Nat each, it was a really lovely experience. Fairly priced. Calm and cool atmosphere with some nice music. Each table has an assortment of obscure Trivial Pursuit cards which was such a fun, silly addition to the experience. We also ordered the truffle almonds to break up the wine a bit and they were very tasty.
The person who prepared our flights was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a Sunday afternoon, I wish I could remember their name because he really did top off the experience.“

“Goodbar should be Greatbar. Laurie, the owner, is delightful. There need to be more Laurie's in the world. Their namesake burger hit the spot, their fries are delicious, and their fried pickle spears are a perfect late night treat. We will definitely be back.“

“Go here and get the best (huge) wedge salad of your life. With the fried chicken add-on. So good! Staff are super friendly, efficient, and the drinks are unique. Hubby also enjoyed his burger and fries a lot. Not much indoor seating, but lots of outdoor fires and spots to hang out with a beverage and our time eating dinner up at the bar was also very enjoyable.“

“Low Tide Lounge has the kind of laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. The empanadas and nachos were delicious, the micheladas were on point—and best of all, the jukebox and pool table are both free.

“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.“

“This place was so cool. I got the burger, which was good but probably not the best burger I’ve ever had. The fries were pretty nice actually and seasoned with a lot of pepper. However the rest of their menu looks great and I want to come back and try more items. The bartenders were super friendly and more than willing to make alterations to drinks and provide recommendations. But the vibe is immaculate. It’s what Sugar Hill wants to be.“

“I know, nobody is perfect BUT our experience was perfect in every way. From our greeting at the bar as we arrived to our exit. The burger and fries were perfect as was the beer on tap. If we had not stopped at another place earlier for Burger Week, we would have stayed longer and drank more. Sad Valley is our new favorite place in the neighborhood. Such an original & creative theme for a bar. Love the decor, the original art is spot on. You either get it or you don't. Sadly I did not have a fabulous cocktail, but looking forward to it on my return.“

“Have only been blessed with food from here twice, recently with some tomato soup and bread someone dropped off at camp which was really good and about 5 or 6 years ago one of the ladies there hooked me up with an elk burger that was incredible. Makes me happy that I spend time cleaning up the area after all the folks that toss the fast food trash out the door before driving home

Parking: Can be a little tricky as the parking for most businesses in the area is side street parallel. There's a large lot next door for McDonald's but they've been known to tow people, part of the lot is out in front of over and out but I'm not sure if that's McDonald's as well. There is a lot at 81st and Washington at Milwaukee lumber where it's ok to park after 5pm up to around 630am and one across 81st at atc autobody but watch for broken glass in that one esp near Dumpsters“
