We love Gibraltar's . It's my family's go to place for special occasions and just for a night out of good dining. The owner is amazing and the staff is always informative, kind and attentive.”

“We live in Los Angeles. We were visiting family in Philly and came to Lancaster for the day on a Monday when most of the restaurants were closed. Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.”

Meridith, the maître de is absolutely the best show in town!!! Very knowledgeable, experienced and personal. This place will not be the same without him!! Can’t wait to be back there for another delightful dining experience. On the way out we couldn’t avoid the little European pastry shop. We are very well traveled European couple and we must say, these are by far one of the best pastries in the US, if not the top!!! Look for delightful Jamie behind the counter:) This the closest you can get to a true French dining experience.🗼”

“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.”

The cars drive right on through. We got caught in the storm so I bought clothes to change into. She placed my food in the warming area until I came back out instead of leaving it sit on the counter. She was polite. I like this change and this asst manager.”

“I have eaten here many of times. The food is always so good. I got two pizza's last night and it was really hard to eat because it had a burnt taste to it. I had gotten two pizza's and they both tasted the same. A little disappointing being I have always had great pizza from here. The burnt taste for me was so bad. Felt like I wasted $40 on pizza. I still give 4 stars because of past experiences.”

The chicken sandwiches today certainly set the industry standard for excellence, and the waffle fries were top notch also, hot and a little salty. Tried the "Sunjay" of 1/2 sweet tea and lemonade and thought it was OK but will go back to the regular lemonade.”

I had a client in need of seat, and an outlet for his portable O2 in a standing room only Butter & Bean. So, one of the staff hears my plea for help and Jessie, the owner comes out. She makes arrangements for not only a seat near an outlet but grabs an extension cord to allow for some movement. The patrons in the entire cafe made way for Jessie and my client. I ask if we can just chill for an hour or so, till he gets charged up and she wouldn't hear of it. "Stay as long as you need to", she said. So, I bought my client a coffee and a sandwich, which was amazing, bought some coffees for those that made space for him, and invited the entire bus group to join us and support Butter and Bean. And we sure did. The food and coffee were great, but the spirit, the vibe and the whole experience I needed to share. Oh, did I mention it was Black Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1230p!!! Who does that??? Well, Butter and Bean does! So, get great coffee and really good eats, and support a business that we will proudly support in every way.”
