Our 11 year old son had a chicken and rice bowl with yellow coconut curry sauce and he wanted me to write that it had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken had a perfect texture. Five stars!! We will 100% be coming back!!”

“This is the most elevated, sophisticated, and out right experiential coffee shop I have ever visited. I would consider it closer to the MoMA than a Starbucks or commodity coffee spot. They had multiple selections of drip, espresso, and pour over (they actually had a ton of pour over options ranging from great to excellent), the baristas were very kind and professional, extremely dedicated to their craft and were clearly invested in stewarding the coffee to the consumer well. They have an emphasis on presentation, quality, and experience. They are true to themselves and want you to enjoy their coffee through their vision. Think of this spot as “chef curated” and not “build your own”, just thrust them to deliver a stellar product and they will! I wish I lived in the area so that I could come back here all the time!!”

The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. Bert is a great guy, but his explanation about the beers, the technique behind the foam and how to enjoy it was mind blowing!! Jess was soooo good as well! Can’t wait to come back!”

“We live in Los Angeles. We were visiting family in Philly and came to Lancaster for the day on a Monday when most of the restaurants were closed. Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.”

“Me and my mother dined in here on 7/26/25. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Colson in particular was just wonderful. He was upbeat, confident and incredibly willing to serve. When I asked for some extra ranch, he gave me as many as he could carry. All of the staff had smiles on their faces, and were clearly making the food with love. The restaurant itself was sparkling clean, and we got our food in under a minute. What a treat to come in here, on a Saturday at 12pm too, no less! We will ABSOLUTELY come again, fantastic job!!”

It is located to the right of the convenience store at the Sunoco station which is also next to the Freeze And Frizz ice cream parlor. The food is excellent and served quickly. The price is very reasonable compared to the high cost of eating out now. I had the pancake breakfast. My pancake was the size of a hubcap.

“In business for nearly thirty years, Lancaster Brewing Company has the brewpub concept down pat. The atmosphere is casual (albeit potentially fairly loud), and the dining area offers a view of the brewery tanks. Speaking of the beer, there are quite a few varieties to choose from – everything from nitro stouts to peanut butter ales — and LBC offers flights for those who want to try it all. The food selections are equally impressive. While you can find the requisite wings/burger/pizza here, LBC also defies expectations by offering up white chili or a chicken, leek, and lager pie.
My wife and I split an order of teriyaki fried cauliflower, a braided soft pretzel, and a burger meister and found the food to be very good. The cauliflower featured thick breading and a sweet teriyaki glaze. I could have eaten an entrée’s worth of it and have been satisfied. The pretzel was warm and pulled apart easily. Rather than being accompanied by separate cheese and mustard dips, its partner was a blend of beer cheese and mustard, strongly flavored but tasty if you don’t mind mustard. The burger featured fresh ground bratwurst, something that will leave you wondering where it was all your life. The accompanying fries were natural-cut, salty, and crisp.
While our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, she vanished toward the end, and we were in for a wait to get our checks. LBC isn’t cheap for what it offers - $13 for the cauliflower, $16 for the burger – but the portions are at least sizeable.
If you want good beer, good food, and a dash of the unexpected, Lancaster Brewing Company is a very appealing option as long as you have the patience for high volume and a bit of a wait.”

As soon as I came to this unassuming shop in the park city mall I got the most pleasant smack in the face of nostalgia ever. The staff is great, friendly and extremely polite and punctual. The tea was cold and creamy, boba wasn’t too mushy and wasn’t too hard, super refreshing for a walk through the mall. I was never without water or a drink and she even got our app order in before the happy hour special ended! The crab dip was big and cheesy with warm, soft pitas for dipping, or shall I say, scooping. Could have used a few more since the dip was big, but they do offer extra for a small fee. Main courses were plentiful. I tried the chicken souvlaki which came open-faced with 2 full skewers of perfectly grilled chicken kabobs. The poor pita they rested on got a little soggy, but I pushed through and ate it open- faced and cut into pieces 😉. The Parmesan crusted salmon was thick and cooked perfectly served with creamy Parmesan sauce and the Cuban panini, huge! Wonderful meal, didn't try the bar, but it looked good, too.”

I had a client in need of seat, and an outlet for his portable O2 in a standing room only Butter & Bean. So, one of the staff hears my plea for help and Jessie, the owner comes out. She makes arrangements for not only a seat near an outlet but grabs an extension cord to allow for some movement. The patrons in the entire cafe made way for Jessie and my client. I ask if we can just chill for an hour or so, till he gets charged up and she wouldn't hear of it. "Stay as long as you need to", she said. So, I bought my client a coffee and a sandwich, which was amazing, bought some coffees for those that made space for him, and invited the entire bus group to join us and support Butter and Bean. And we sure did. The food and coffee were great, but the spirit, the vibe and the whole experience I needed to share. Oh, did I mention it was Black Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1230p!!! Who does that??? Well, Butter and Bean does! So, get great coffee and really good eats, and support a business that we will proudly support in every way.”

“We live in Los Angeles. We were visiting family in Philly and came to Lancaster for the day on a Monday when most of the restaurants were closed. Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.”
