“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“This place was located in a very nice area near several other stores and places to explore. The line was around 20 minutes when we visited, but it was a good place to try a traditional Southern-style breakfast.
If you love biscuits and Southern food, I would recommend stopping by! One person in my group is a huge fan of Southern breakfasts and absolutely loved the biscuits and gravy.“

“I was in the Nashville location on 1/28 during my visit to the area. It was packed but everything moved quickly, efficiently and the staff was so very friendly to everyone. That didn’t stop just at the start but all throughout our time there. The lady helping us (her name was Isis, I believe) even followed back up with us on something. Her and the manager went above and beyond to take care of us on something we didn’t even ask them to. Btw, nothing happened, they were just out of something, it came back in and they took care of us. A measure most would not do but she found us and made sure to take care. Now THAT is friendly customer service! The food is so amazing, y’all. This is going to be my new joint for every single visit to Nashville from now on. Hot dayum!!“

“This is probably one of the BEST brunch buffets I've ever had. Everything was FRESH, HOT and DELICIOUS. The selection was great and left me wanting more. The potatoes are a must and if you have room for dessert, the caramel bread pudding is HEAVENLY. Don't think twice about making your reservation - DO IT NOW!“

“Today was the first I’ve even heard about this. I was leary about it at first with the parking being terrible. But my wife really wanted to try it. So valet we went. The young man that parked my Jeep was so nice and professional. But back to the restaurant. I was 100% impressed with just a burger that we are looking forward to coming back and having a real dinner. Hands down worth the time and energy. Bartenders were great, servers were polite and who I think was a manager was very attentive. Thank you all for today.“

“What a great experience! First, food was so good! The sauce on the wings was delicious and I can’t stop raving about the baked beans and BANANA PUDDING!!!! But to top it off, our waitress went above and beyond. She gave us perfect recommendations and offered for us to try the banana pudding on the house because it’s that good… she was not kidding! Then gave an extra serving of baked beans to go because I was raving about them so much! We will 100% be back (regularly)!!“

“An incredible dining experience in Nashville with phenomenal food and top-notch hospitality.
The meal started off strong with the coffee, which was absolutely amazing. Food-wise, the omelette was top tier, perfectly prepared and full of flavor, and the potatoes were a really solid side to round out the plate.
The service throughout the visit was fantastic. A huge shoutout to Jack for being extremely helpful, attentive, and making sure we were well taken care of the entire time.

“Food was good. I think they forgot about our food. My whole table/friends were served and were done by the time my food came out. My husband's nachos were cold and cheese no longer melted but my flatbread was boiling lava hot. Flat was really good, but my husband was very disappointed by his Nacho's. My friend did not like his chicken sandwich, but all the other food no complaints. Tacos were good, and twinkie tots were a good way to end the night. Very loud and busy at night hard to hear people.“

“Came to Nashville on vacation. The food downtown wasn't doing it for my wife and I so we decided to venture out for breakfast. This place looks like it been here for a long time. The food was amazing, well priced with nice portions. You can't overlook this place. Locals came in and they were greeted with love and they already knew the order.
This is a place that you don't see anymore.
The French toast was the best I've had. I don't care for it either.

“Thanks to Edleys on Woodland for their kindness today! My young neice accidentally left her small handbag on the bench, and we were over two hours away when she realized that she'd left it. I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!“

“Loved the quick and attentive service from the time I walked in to when I was seated. The all day happy hour was perfect after a long week. My server Grant was super nice. The chicken tenders were fried to perfection and the red white and blue drink was the perfect combo. I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and cheese but have heard other locations may be worth a try so I won’t quite count it out. Street parking was easy to find but they also validate for 2 hours in the garage which is ideal. I would definitely come back to this location again and even hit them up after a weekend full of adventures. Glad they partnered with Yelp elite for me to experience this locations goodness.“

“My wife and I celebrated our two-year anniversary in the city and visited this restaurant for the first time. We had an excellent dinner and experienced true Southern hospitality from the moment we entered until we left. Our evening was made even more special by our server, Kiana. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Her exceptional service helped make our anniversary dinner a fantastic and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!“
