“As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is so welcoming. The service is outstanding. The food has the Italian touch and flavor (I visited Italy last year) food is really similar. The appetizers were all good. The prawns in the sauce delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection! Paired my food with the suggested red wine. The desserts topped it off for a perfect night out. Will be back with the rest of my family.”

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.”

“Pluto World Daiquiri Shop was such a great experience! My siblings and I were visiting from out of town, and from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The atmosphere was fun, the daiquiris were amazing, and the customer service truly stood out.

I especially want to shout out Iris — she was incredibly helpful, sweet, and genuinely kind. She took her time explaining the menu, made great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she truly cares about customers and loves what she does.

Because of Iris, our visit was even more memorable. If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-visit. Great drinks, great vibes, and even better service. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!”

Our waiter Khatija was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The floor manager took his time to welcome my family and made it his main priority to adjust everything to our liking. Especially nowadays with COVID-19, it’s hard to find a clean but comfortable restaurant environment I felt like my family was number 1. Also, it felt like I was over at family or friends. The steak was exceptionally tender, bursting with rich, savory flavor, while the potatoes were decadently cheesy and the perfect complement. Music is a bit loud and it was a bit dark. Great for people who like that atmosphere but not my cup of tea.

“Updated- I was able to try the “new” Andiron recently. The menu is a bit different. Gone are the expensive Wagyu meats and some new items have been added. Fortunately, the space kept its classic elegance and much of the same great staff remains. The martinis are still the best. I wouldn’t say the place is much less expensive but there are more options at a fair price for the quality and service. I had the market fish with a green pea hummus and curry sauce. The Caesar salad was delightfully unique with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan and a hint of citrus zest. This place is still one of my favorites in town. AND they still have their happy hour, a great way to give them a try.”

The pork roll bánh mì sandwiches are AMAZING. Very fresh, full of flavor, and generously filled with meat. The portions were very satisfying and made for a perfect lunch. I also loved how thoughtful the packaging was. They even cut out part of the box so the bread does not get soggy, which is such a smart and appreciated touch.

The Vietnamese coffee is so good. I added boba and it was delicious. They even placed the cup inside a bag just in case it dripped, which was perfect.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. I left feeling warm, welcomed, and very happy with my meal. I will definitely be back.”

“We popped in tonight for a little bit of a midweek date night expecting the typical Perry's nicer dining experience, and originally planned on ordering the prime rib.

Wow was I wrong.

Apparently they added Beef Wellington to their menu a little while back. Me being the fat kid I am, I immediately began salivating.

Being a huge fan of a well prepared Welly, I've eaten them at more than a few dozen 5 star restaurants, many headed by big name chefs.

I can say hands down, this is the best damned Beef Wellington I've ever had.

The filet was a perfect medium rare, the mushroom chicken duxelle with a hint of horseradish was superior, but the absolute showstopper was the pastry. Light, fluffy, but crisp enough you hear the distinct crack with each slice.

As outstanding as my meal was, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the perfect service we received from our host, David Corzo.

He was very friendly, charming personality, engaging, and quite knowledgeable on the menu. I know these sound like basic skills for the service industry, but let me assure you, they are extremely rare today.

When I ran for public office in 2019, Heavenly Choices prepared meals for my campaign workers, and they loved it. Recently, I bought a sheet cake of Darilyn's German Butter Cake for a tour group from Rice University, and they loved it! My latest Sunday-after-church plate from Heavenly Choices included swai fish, okra, and blackeyed peas with a side of cornbread. I also bought a side of spaghetti and a warm slice of German Butter cake for my meal the following day. Suffice it to say, everything was delicious, even on the second day. The food is so really good. All of the dishes were excellent and we could not find a favorite because they all were. We also had the cheeseburger fried rice. Wow this one is a big hit.
Really standout for me was the coconut shrimp toast. Mmmm so good and crunch/crispy. The fries omg. Probably the best salt and pepper fries ever. Will definitely be back.”

“Doctor appointments in Houston mean trying new places! We've been looking forward to trying Pok Pok Po for a few weeks since we saw Shawn the Food Sheep's video review. It did not disappoint! This is the best chicken ever! Look at the seasoning on those fries! My chicken sandwich had an amazing sauce and kimchi on it. Caleb had the chicken nugget basmati rice bowl with kimchi. The side sauces are to die for, and perfectly complemented all we had. PLOT TWIST-- there are two concepts kitchens in one store front!! Pok pok Po shares a space and is the same company/chef as Bōl--a Chipoltle-style Indian food concept. We were able to try a wide sample of their fares including the rice, lamb, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, pickled onions, avocados, and cucumber salad, airy potatoes crisps, mango Lassi, and samosa. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Staff, manager, and chef take pride in their establishment and value the experience of the customer. Everything there is gluten free (except the burger bun--but make it a wrap or a salad!) And halal, and the chicken is anibiotic free. Everything was spotless, bathrooms were nice and big.Free parking!”
