The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. Wonderful service in a restaurant and bar with great ambiance. The team at the Dead Rabbit is so kind, considerate and friendly. Reasonable prices for an exceptional experience.“

“This is one of the best retro bar experiences you will find in Austin. They have great drinks, pool, shuffleboard and delicious bar food. Their fried pickles with jalapeño ranch are in the top 3 we've ever had. Be careful though, the breading is thick and retains oil so they are molten lava out of the fryer. Their chopped cheese and hot dogs are also great.“

“What an awesome visit. Crown and Anchor is an Austin classic for a reason, and after a three-decade hiatus, I was completely won over.....again. The atmosphere perfectly preserves its loyal, dive-bar charm and nostalgia, yet the overall cleanliness and maintenance are surprisingly top-notch. It's the best of both worlds! The food truly was a highlight for me. I had a double cheeseburger with fries. It was excellent, instantly reminding me why this place is a fixture. What sealed the deal, however, was the iced tea—as a self-proclaimed snob, I can attest that they absolutely perfected it. This isn't just a blast from the past; it's a quality operation. For sure I won't be waiting another 30 years to go back!“

“The food here is wonderful, and I highly recommend the mushrooms. They’re perfectly crispy like chips but with that umami mushroom flavor and spot-on seasoning. I could eat them forever. The squash risotto was also cooked beautifully, with the squash itself seasoned just right and a slight char that made it even better.

The staff here are so nice and helpful, recommending things with so much enthusiasm that you can’t help but feel happy to be there too. At night, the outdoor area feels like a little garden with pretty lights and a cozy vibe. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and wander into the building on the right as that’s a completely different restaurant. Toti is just very small and easy to miss.“

“Best neighborhood bar in Austin. The service is exceptional if you know what you want. It's too crowded at times for boneheads that don't know how to order. The food is from Pool Burger downstairs which has an exceptional veggie burger if you have one of "those" in your group. Go there and share a pitcher with friends. Plus, they have White Claws.“

My dining companion and I had to lean across the table and practically shout to be heard. Is a DJ at a restaurant required? My friend and I came for a few drinks after working SXSW and loved it, think it was my fav bar we went to all week! “Fell in love with this place. A group of girlfriends and I were just stopping in for a quick shot but it ended being the funnest part of our whole night! We ended up staying for a couple hours singing along to every song this tall cute cowboy of a bartender played for us. “Hosted our 2025 closing party here in late June for Austin Asian American Film Festival. The bar staff was so generous and friendly. Cocktails were strong in the best way possible without compromising taste. Our visitors and local guests alike had a fantastic time and kept exclaiming how we have the best parties. Well, it's easy with joints like this! Also with the community-oriented and heavy film buff vibes of the owners, it was a no-brainer to for us.

My cocktails of choice were the Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned! Vibes were absolutely immaculate. Other patrons graciously gave us the floor a bit to take over the pool/darts area for our Jury/Audience Awards too. Our photographer Erica Rich was so inspired when capturing these wonderful memories that capped our fest.“
