“This is my favorite dive bar in Austin, Texas! The beers are so cold on top. You can expect ice crystals on top.
Also, my favorite thing on the menu is the burger, but make sure you get it as a double! I regularly come here on the weekend and pick up to go burgers for multiple neighbors (why i have an ice cold Coors ☺)

If you want a sports bar this is not the place (and we prefer it that way) but if you want to shoot a round of pool or shuffleboard you have found the spot!“

Hongos ala plancha, melon y jamon, and steak frites were all so tasty and perfectly cooked and presented. Can't believe all the flavor from mushrooms. The melon y jamon is a perfect summer dish to cool you down. Ideal date nite spot without going over the top.“

“Amazing. Must-go location in Austin! They serve up wonderful array of drinks, especially their icy coffee - Irish and otherwise. The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. Wonderful service in a restaurant and bar with great ambiance. The team at the Dead Rabbit is so kind, considerate and friendly. Reasonable prices for an exceptional experience.“

“We walked form Moody Center over to Crown and Anchor before a concert and it did not disappoint. Two of us ordered their burger and fries it was perfect. Another in our party ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and she really liked it. The last person in our partner ordered the chicken club sandwich. She said it was great. Everything was amazing and served in a timely manner. The atmosphere was just what we wanted, classic Austin chill vibe. I will be back again.“

“In search of a bar that wasn’t packed on a Friday night, we were lucky to stumble across Marlow. The atmosphere is dark and cozy. There’s enough of a vibe for this place to feel lively even when it’s mostly empty, yet it also avoids the earsplitting noise that may come with a more crowded venue. The bartenders are amicable, and the menu showcases some creative – and creatively named – cocktails. Lara went with a Moon Song (rum, blackberry, lime, and honey with lavender cold foam) and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. I opted for a zero proof drink: the high and mighty (agave, nonalcoholic ginger and floral liqueurs, jasmine tea, and spiced salt). It was refreshing but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. What should have been complex and balanced came across as overly floral.

All told, Marlow is worth a visit even if it is unlikely to wow you.“

“My fiancée and I are always looking for fun and unique date night spots, and Vigilante has quickly become one of our favorites. We love bringing our own card game to play while enjoying the great food and drinks. Every time we’ve visited, we’ve said we’re going to try one of the many games they have available, but we end up getting so caught up in our own game that we never do! It’s still fun watching the staff enthusiastically teach other groups how to play new games, and it really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The cocktails are outstanding. We both enjoy Old Fashioneds, and Vigilante makes one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had in the Austin area. We’ve also tried several of their other cocktails, and every one has been exceptionally well crafted. The food has been just as delicious. We usually order a couple of our favorite staples along with something from the rotating menu, and we’ve yet to be disappointed. What really sets Vigilante apart, though, is the staff. Every employee we’ve interacted with has been genuinely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. They proactively check on us throughout the evening, offer great recommendations for both food and drinks, and are always happy to answer questions about the menu or games. The call button at each table is also a great touch. It makes it easy to get service when you need it without interrupting your game. It’s not often that you find a place that consistently delivers great drinks, great food, excellent service, and such a unique atmosphere, but Vigilante does exactly that. It’s quickly become one of our favorite date night spots, and we’ve already recommended it to several friends. We’ll definitely be back.“
