The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. “This is one of the best retro bar experiences you will find in Austin. They have great drinks, pool, shuffleboard and delicious bar food. Their fried pickles with jalapeño ranch are in the top 3 we've ever had. Be careful though, the breading is thick and retains oil so they are molten lava out of the fryer. Their chopped cheese and hot dogs are also great.“

“What an awesome visit. Crown and Anchor is an Austin classic for a reason, and after a three-decade hiatus, I was completely won over.....again. The atmosphere perfectly preserves its loyal, dive-bar charm and nostalgia, yet the overall cleanliness and maintenance are surprisingly top-notch. It's the best of both worlds! The food truly was a highlight for me. I had a double cheeseburger with fries. It was excellent, instantly reminding me why this place is a fixture. What sealed the deal, however, was the iced tea—as a self-proclaimed snob, I can attest that they absolutely perfected it. This isn't just a blast from the past; it's a quality operation. “We had a great time and excellent meal at Bar Toti last night before a show at the Bass Concert Hall. Smashburguesas, chicken piccata, and bistro steak were all so tasty. Their French fries are perfect, and so are the cocktails. We appreciated our waiter being conscientious about the clock so that we could get to our show on time. We'll definitely come back when we can enjoy a more leisurely meal.“

There isn’t a stage so if you are sitting at the small tables you can’t see the band that is performing because the higher table are in front. I think that the higher tables should go against the wall where the picnic table is or towards the back and the smaller tables should be up front. There are some people who are unable to sit and the higher tables but are unable to see the band other then that’s it’s a pretty nice place.“
