“Amazing. Must-go location in Austin! They serve up wonderful array of drinks, especially their icy coffee - Irish and otherwise. The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. Wonderful service in a restaurant and bar with great ambiance. The team at the Dead Rabbit is so kind, considerate and friendly. Reasonable prices for an exceptional experience.“

“In Austin for the Thanksgiving holiday and this spot is a favorite of my brothers. Just a quick jaunt got us to this little spot with a lot of character, but let's talk about why we're all here, the food. Per my brother you can gauge a good restaurant/bar by how good (if they serve it) their sweet potato fries are and these are a knockout (basically the opposite of a Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson match) and the only dancing that's done is with the fries and their Sriracha Mayo as they wait to enter your mouth hole. Their main burger: The Buffalo Bastrop Burger (as pictured) is a delectable journey from ground sirloin city to the tang of the buffalo then to the bite of the bluest of the cheeses which creates the thrill of the ride releasing a satisfaction guaranteed with no need for a warranty. The Mac n Cheese hits you right in the fun bags with its creamy goodness (think Velveeta esq texture), flavor profile, and extra melted cheese saying, "Hey! You have to get through me first!!" and daggumit I will!! Great spot, great food, you shant be disappointed!!“

“The food here is wonderful, and I highly recommend the mushrooms. They’re perfectly crispy like chips but with that umami mushroom flavor and spot-on seasoning. I could eat them forever. The squash risotto was also cooked beautifully, with the squash itself seasoned just right and a slight char that made it even better.

The staff here are so nice and helpful, recommending things with so much enthusiasm that you can’t help but feel happy to be there too. At night, the outdoor area feels like a little garden with pretty lights and a cozy vibe. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and wander into the building on the right as that’s a completely different restaurant. Toti is just very small and easy to miss.“

Additionally, the service was even more excellent on my second visit to the restaurant--when making my reservation, I noted that we were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Not only did they bring her a free glass of wine, but they also brought out some delicious watermelon ice cream with a candle for us to share at the end of our meal. From the hostess stand to our servers, everyone was extremely friendly and I was so pleased that they made my friend feel so special. I will absolutely be back again!“

“From the time we walked in, we were made to feel at home. Funny that we had Jack for a server. I remembered him from a couple years ago at your location in Round Rock. The man has not missed a step. Patient, kind, attentive without being a helicopter. Can't say enough good things about him.....and everyone else in our party of six has said the same things I just told you. Quite impressive! Jack should be proud of all of you. (yes, I'm talking about Jack Gilmore) I've been a huge fan since we were introduced at the Kitchen on 71 probably 12 or 14 years ago. Keep doing what y'all do! We ended up staying for a couple hours singing along to every song this tall cute cowboy of a bartender played for us. Some even remember me because of how often I go. Xebian always greats me with a smile and knows what drink I want every time he takes care of me. That’s great service!

“I've been coming here for years and it's never let me down. I'm so glad Hillside Farmacy has endured the challenges of the growth and economic ecosystem in Austin. Always welcoming staff, never with an attitude or judgmental reception, these folks always make you feel welcomed. We always have the burgers with malt fries but we chose Trout and Pasta in this visit...fabulous. The cocktails were excellent and made with care and of course the ambience and decor continues to be inspiring. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!“
