“I will never go into this Popeye’s location ever again. Disgusting, dirty, horrible service inside. Most of the people in there were either on drugs or insane. Half the sodas were out, no lids. All they care about is the drive-thru, no desire to take care of things in the dining area. I tried to find some water to clean the mess & dried catsup off my table, but there was some homeless guy in the bathroom with his dog (yes, dog in the restaurant). So I tried to get water from the soda fountain, but water wasn’t dispensing. Line of people 10 deep, no one taking orders in front. People were getting rude and irritated. One guy got kinda hostile and mouthy. It took 30mins to get my order...and I had to ask them for it. My mashed potatoes were not warm, but the chicken sandwich was awesome.“

“1/5-Something has happened in this Popeyes in the last month or so. It used to be slow. Something was always out or broken. Never greeted at the door or at the register. Store was dirty. In the last month, the store is clean, nothing broken, always greeted. If there is a line, it moves quick. Employees smile and are kind. Food is hot and ready. What a wonderful place to eat. Thank you Popeyes!

Almost immediately I dropped it in the ground by accident, and the worker dropped instantly to clean it all up. He offered to replace everything and even add on some as compensation. “Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“

“Pollo Campero is inside a mini mart so the atmosphere is not the point. It's comfort food fried chicken and sides with a delicious flavor. Nice and crispy, great seasoning. Great for days when you want a comfort food meal at a good price.

I wish I could say that about fast food restaurants who aren't as busy and take forever filling your order. They all need to take a lesson from Chick-fil-a“

“We went to a show at Drinks Backyard, and none of the food trucks inside had gluten free options. This truck behind the venue had a couple of options, and the potato was delicious. It is a large portion and a reasonable price. Service was very fast. They are cash only and Spanish speaking, so come prepared!“
