“Clark's is such a special spot. I personally don't love sitting inside because they have such a cozy little patio and I love sitting out there on a cool evening as the sun begins to set. It's surrounded by trees, warm lights, and neon signs. But we snagged a last minute reservation and all that was available was standard seating. They really set the mood as the evening progresses with the tea light candles and dimmed lights. We were greeted and seated immediately. Carrie was our waitress and she was friendly, attentive, warm and so easy going. It had been a while since I had dinner here but I knew I wanted crudo plate, it is probably my favorite item from the cold bar. Clark's is a treat. If you're on vacation in ATX, it's a must. Or on any day where you feel like having the freshest, delectable seafood.“

“Whew, pricey, but excellent upscale mediterranean. Terrific waitstaff, beautiful dining area. Parking is problematic, but not too difficult. Had the chicken kebabs and lamb/beef kafta. Well cooked and presented -- the lemon/onion beautified basmati was excellent. The sticky date cake is killer good!“

“Best food in Austin….no question about it. I wish Google let me give 10 stars. This was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life and I like to consider myself a food snob. Along with the exceptional quality of food, Phil provided exceptional service. We got a bottle of wine and didn’t refill our own glass once (on a packed night nonetheless) Ask for Phil and you’ll have a taste of a Luxury dining experience.P.s. get the a crab cake. Thank me later“

“Spectacular experience at the bar 6pm Saturday night 4/27! Walked in and every seat was taken at the bar, but one of the bar tenders saw that we were struggling to find a spot and immediately jumped into action. He welcomed us and let us know he's working on getting us in. He was able to rearrange a reservation on the fly and get us a couple of seats quickly, which was great because we were in a hurry to eat and make it to a show. The next bar tender then took incredible care of us with amazing drinks and super quick and attentive service. We got our orders in right away and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. Crab cake was on point as it always is. The entire experience was wonderful, but the bar staff going above and beyond was what really impressed. Cheers to that crew!!!“

“What an experience!! This place deserves all of the hype and is definitely worth every penny!! My boyfriend surprised me with dinner here for our anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to make it such a magical and memorable night!!We started with some champagne, and then got the “nice spice” and another cocktail I don’t remember the name of but they were delicious and had so manny different flavor profiles. We ordered two of the warm crab tarts and they were delightful. My boyfriend ordered the halibut and it came with this smoked butter sauce that was absolutely to die for. I ordered the 8oz dry aged wagyu steak, it was so amazing, who knew you could pack so much flavor into a meal! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all of our familly and friends! Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you to the entire Hestia staff!!“

“I had a sensational experience at Este recently. Everything I had was absolutely smashing. The tamarind agua Fresca was lightly sweet and refreshingly sour. I tad the tuna tiradito and am still thinking about the charred allium sauce it was served with. The swordfish tacos were a revelation, the batter was similar to a light and crispy tempura. The lime semifreddo was a creative take on a key lime pie, and the mango tamarind gelato was real treat. I sat at the bar by myself, so I got to chat with the staff throughout my meal. They were attentive and clearly passionate about their work, and most importantly, I could tell from the way they interacted with one another that Este fosters a thoughtful and supportive culture. They were so helpful and gracious with each other, acting as a real team. I was so impressed overall, and I can’t wait for my next visit!“

You could tell they cared.I’ll definitely return and since I travel through Austin for work I know where I’ll grab a quick bite. The young girl working was very sweet to us and even took a photo with my family as she was on one of my favorite shows. This place was a 10Lovely“

“Milo and Fatih were our servers and they were wonderful! Ask for them. The food was marvelous - street corn ribs and tuna appetizers, mom had the sea bass which was divine and I had the steak salad - also wonderful. Great flavors and texture. I like how they redecorated the restaurant. Great place on the lake. Oh and the berry cobbler was so good! Great decaf espresso (yay decaf.) Thank you for a great night out!“

“I had dental surgery earlier that day and my mouth was in pain but I just kept eating. That's how good the food was. The server was awesome and wanted to make sure we were taken care of which isn't always the case at other places. “Came here to say with colleagues to celebrate a birthday while on a work trip. Incredible service from all the staff but in particular our waiter. Great recommendations on menu items and wine pairings. Be prepared that they ask you order all food at once and then they close it out for you. The wood fired flavor on the food from their special oven was extra noticeable and added to the ambiance. 10/10 recommend if in downtown Austin.“

“Looking to satisfy your craving for authentic Cajun cuisine right here in Austin? Look no further than Everything New Orleans food truck! After a glowing recommendation from a trustworthy source, my barber Tyler, a New Orleans native, I decided to give this food truck a try, and I was not disappointed.I ordered the gumbo with a mix of chicken, sausage, and shrimp, along with sides of potato salad and cornbread. The flavors brought me straight back to the vibrant streets of New Orleans, with each bite bursting with authenticity and deliciousness. The gumbo was a true standout, rich and flavorful with the perfect blend of spices. The combination of chicken, sausage, and shrimp added layers of complexity to the dish, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. The potato salad was creamy and well-seasoned, providing a cool contrast to the spicy gumbo. The cornbread was the perfect accompaniment, with a moist and crumbly texture that complemented the meal perfectly.Everything New Orleans food truck truly delivers on its promise of bringing the flavors of the Big Easy to Austin. “Beautiful place with ample parking and seating, unusual in Austin from my experience. Had a love lunch here with my wife. The food was delicious and the service great. “Had such a great experience here! Sat outside on a windy chilly night and the heaters were very warm and the screens blocked out the wind really well. Also no street noise + the layout of the restaurant keeps it from getting too noisy. The actual parking lot is kind of small and gets crowded around dinner time, but there's a paid public parking garage right across the street with lots of space. Paid $7 for 3 hour parking in the garage. The food and drinks were AMAZING. Luke recommended dishes/portions and was very knowledgeable about each dish. Would 100% recommend getting the Makum. Phenomenal dish. Tostadas with Sauces and vegetarian enchilada option were amazing as well. Everything was very well-made and had tons of flavor. Coconut horchata was also great! Service was very fast and everyone was incredibly kind. Luke and the host standing at front of the restaurant were very friendly and took great photos! Definitely a must-try Austin restaurant“

“Everything about this place is incredible. It is delicious and authentic to all of us Northeasters who love our lobster and seafood. The Bar Harbor is the best value — sooo much lobster meat! Great value. Clean space, bright, friendly staff and service. Thank you!“
“Room 725 is a beautiful spot with a panoramic view of the city. The drinks are delightful and everything we had was a treat ? especially the lobster claws and Caviar which had a sauce that was divine and the tuna carpaccio melted in a flavorful bite. I wouldn't order the vegan Caviar again. It reminded me of Boba and didn't have enough saltiness to mimic Caviar making it pretty bland. Also it's a champagne and Caviar bar so don't expect to leave full but you will have a delicious time.“

“Food 9/10 Service 3/10 Came here last week with a small work group of 8. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Soup dumplings are incredible as well as the fried rice. My complaint on the service is that they have "partners" for service and in doing so they share tables and are NOT efficient and actually quite the opposite. Half our table had drinks for 20 min before the other half got them because each of the servers thought the other was getting them. We asked for our fried rice quite literally 6 times and they just kept brining out the white rice says that the table only fits so many items. We kindly said we realize that, so take back the white we won't eat it and bring out our fried rice, it was like we were inconveniencing the servers. They brought out the fried rice LAST after nearly 2 hours of being there and no one was hungry anymore. If someone orders fried rice they want it with their main meal. Not brought out like a desert.“

“I definitely would give this a 4.5 because there’s always room for improvement. However, this East Coast sensibility, and the fact that the owner is from New Jersey New York area. The weight staff are perfectly trained. They don’t miss a beat. It’s refreshing to see this in Austin. It’s not common here.I ordered the crabcake and unfortunately had to give it back because it was too salty and they said it was premixed which I find strange at a restaurant like this. Why is anything premixed it should all be made fresh and which case then it won’t be too salty and should never be added to anything in this day and age don’t people get that? After that they exchanged it and I had the muscles which were divine in a sort of Louisiana style base which is not my favorite way to eat muscles I have to say it was delicious. The bread is fantastic, and it was chalk filled with sausage onion tomato, but the muscles were juicy they I think they were New Zealand muscles or from the Netherlands not sureI’ll definitely definitely come back for the steamers when they’re in season“

“I enjoyed this food more than my trip to Canje. Oxtails were tender, coated with sauce and incredibly flavorful. Beef patty, although more closely resembling a large empanada, was stuffed with beef and had a pastry that was also super flavorful and flaky. Peas and rice under the oxtails slapped. Plantains were the perfect sweet bite in between to break up all the rich flavors. 10/10 recommend.“

“I was out on Rainey Street and since our group was hungry we decided to duck into the food truck park instead of finding a brick and mortar that everyone could reach consensus on. After walking around I decided on The Happy Lobster because I thought it was the best option and seeing it gave me a taste for lobster. I ended up not only getting the lobster roll but the lobster mac and cheese bites to bring back to my group. The roll itself was pretty good-the lobster was meaty and obviously with Texas being landlocked it didn't have the briny, freshness that you'd get from New England. The lobster mac and cheese balls was on the smaller side, but battered well and piping hot. I ended up eating another and liked it. If I were to go back to Rainey and was hungry I'd probably eat here, but that's a pretty big if.“

“First and foremost I would like to say that the MOD London was exceptionally good with her leadership skills in ensuring that my what began as the worst experience turned into one of the best experiences I have ever had at this establishment!! She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in her customer service!! She made sure that one of her best severs Kiona I believe was the gentleman name was able to assist us with our needs. He was AWESOME and went above and beyond as well in ensuring the quality of me and my husband experience was catered to. He checked on us as if he had been waiting on us from the start which we were switched to this server due to our previous server lack of customer service! I would say I would recommend 10/10 also treat yourself to the crab and spinach dip with the soft garlic bread! I promise you will not be disappointed. I will be returning and knowing what I know that I will be assisted and treated with the best quality of service ever!!!“

“Occupying the kitchen inside Lavaca, Turf n Surf Po' Boy serves up some great seafood with strong Cajun flavors that will transport you straight to NOLA! Open late, they're great for post-bar munchies. The menu could get a little overwhelming at first glance, but the variety is well worth it. When the weather is good, it's nice to just stop by and order through their sidewalk window and eat at one of the tables outside. I'm personally a fan of their Naughty Cat Poboy, which is blackened catfish and bacon with all the fixings - it's just seasoned so well and really hits the spot. I also suggest getting their Fried Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, which are beyond fresh. A word of warning, though: their sandwiches could get REAL messy and start falling apart, with coleslaw getting all over the place, so be prepared!“

“Everything about this place is awesome. My husband and I were blown away by the pricing, freshness and the friendliness of the staff. The restaurant was clean and food came out in a very timely manner. One thing to note is the small and medium bowl come in the same size but the medium has more fish so don't make the mistake of getting a small like I did on my first visit. Ultimately my husband and I went twice - and if our trip was longer and we came here earlier I would've gone here every day. There is something about a poke bowl that is unlike any other food. Just so refreshing and flavours that don't work with anything else!We ordered the classic tuna. Absolutely stunning flavours and such a pretty bowl. The fish is top quality and the sushi rice is so flavourful. It is beyond addictive. The second bowl we ordered was the wasabi ponzu salmon. I am not really a salmon girl but this was so tasty. The sauce really brought the whole bowl together. You also have the option to create your own bowl which I thought was really cool. The menu all sounded great but if you want to try your own - you can!Definitely check this place out. You can't go wrong with the kind staff, quick service, fresh flavours and happy atmosphere. Hoping my hometown gets something like this ourselves. I crave Pokebowls!“

Everyone was so kind and friendly. I loved the entire omakase. Every dish I tried was like magic to my tastebuds. I was exhausted after a 16 hour flight the day before and this dinner truly brought me back to life. My boyfriend got the omakase with wine pairings and I got the sake pairing. “Cozy little spot that's good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I met a friend here for lunch and I ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer- which were very yummy!! I then ordered the shrimp and grits for my entree, which was also good! The tap water does taste rather dirty, so I opted for a bottled Mexican Coke instead. “This truck is outstanding. Get the stuffed catfish plate, you won't be disappointed. The fried catfish, the boudin, and the mac and cheese make for a heavenly explosion of flavor! The wings (I got the hot honey) left a bit to be desired, though, so I can only give 4 stars.“

“I actually worked here YEARS ago but I am coming at it from an outsider’s perspective despite anything that happened in the past. I don’t even think the manager I worked under is there anymore. I came back to try it again for the first time in a while. Still pretty much the same menu they’ve had since. The food is pretty good. They have decent menu options. I will say I’ve never had a bad meal there. Not the BIGGEST portions ever but decent amount nonetheless. This location is definitely small. Small building with a few tables and like…one or two wooden tables right near the lot. Not the best. Not any nice outdoor setting. So…generally, worth a try. The guy working that last time I went was pretty friendly. I will also say it was kind of tough eating the poke out of the pint containers (had to mix it up out of them). I took it to go to have it at the park and it was definitely hard to mix cuz it was so full in that small container. So. If you’re eating it there or going home and using another bowl, that is best. Still possible but … some rice fell out while mixing. HahKid-friendliness: Just a restaurant so…kid friendly.“
“Wanted to say that the calamari I had here is some of the best I've ever had! Been to some places where it's a tad too chewy. As a texture person, that's a hard pass lol. But this calamari was fried to crunchy perfection! Ordered it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised Lobster Mac and cheese was good, according to my partner-- I just don't think the flavor is for me. Burrito was really good. I've been here in the past and had one of the lobster rolls, not pictured, which was incredible. Overall this place is a tad on the pricier side, but definitely worth it, and does not miss! Would recommend making a reservation in advance. We were walk-ins and had to sit outside. The outdoor tables by the walls have heaters. But the other seats don't. Could be a cool spot for your kids to play at the playground while you eat, too“

“Absolutely love this food truck. I grew up in the area and now drive down from Round Rock every once in a while for the nostalgic experience. They serve delicious authentic Mexican food, coming from a family that grew up eating such foods on a daily basis. The caldo the pollo ranchero is tasty, their corn tortillas are delicious, the barbacoa, the tacos de tripa (you can ask for crunchy and they are perfect), the cheese in the quesadillas is delicious, not the flavorless mozzarella you get at other “Mexican” restaurants. The people as super friendly and patient, it feels like I am talking to family, and the seating they have is covered. I hope one day they will expand a little further north because I have failed to find anything that comes close to their food closer to home.Edit to add that there is a review saying that it floods when it rains and my last trip was around 8pm on a Thursday while it was raining, it was not flooded and they were open. Another note that yes the price averages $3 a taco which is super reasonable and if you buy tacos you would know this. I’m not sure where you can get tacos this delicious for less than $3 dollars.“
