I’m going to say something you may not expect. The steak was outstanding, as good as I’ve had. But the hospitality? It’s been 24 hours and I’m still smiling. That was seriously service in the form of a performing art. I am blown away.

Our server, AB, was quite possibly the best server I've ever had. He greeted us both with a handshake, learned our names, paced the meal perfectly, checked in without hovering, served our sides throughout dinner, and somehow managed to make a busy dining room feel personal. Jessica was convinced to step outside her normal filet comfort zone and order the filet cap (spinalis), one of the most prized cuts of beef available. The recommendation was perfect and she loved it.

What really impressed me was that every recommendation felt genuine and was presented with logic. Nothing felt like an upsell. Everything felt like guidance from someone who wanted us to have the best possible experience. AB was our steakhouse Sherpa.

I don’t want to downplay the quality of the food itself. The steaks were remarkably good, the menu was deep and diverse, and pretty much anything we ate was exceptional. You can’t eat bad food here. But great food is not actually why this place is famous. It’s now obvious to me how Al Biernat's earned the reputation. It was service that made us truly feel like the most important guests in the restaurant.

I ordered the dry-aged ribeye, crusted with peppercorn, and it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and incredibly tender—the knife didn’t cut through it, it glided. Each bite delivered that rich, buttery depth steak lovers chase. My wife ordered the filet mignon, and it was just as impressive—cooked to the perfect temperature, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. We sampled each other’s steaks, and the reaction was instant—one of those unspoken “this is special” moments that great food creates.

We also ordered several family-style sides to complement the meal, and they were just as impressive—well-prepared, generous, and full of flavor.

The ambiance is smooth and inviting, creating a relaxed yet upscale environment that enhances the entire experience. As someone who’s enjoyed steakhouses across the country, I can confidently say this one sets a high standard.

“Went March 2026 for happy hour this is one of the best deals around because you get the same portion sizes for the apps they are not smaller sizes like some places do for happy hour . Most apps are 50% off and cocktails 2.00 off. The server was very attentive. I had the dragon fruit margarita that I sent back because it was too alcohol heavy for me and got the Malibu Peach instead which is delicious if you like sweet cocktails (rum based reminds me of a rum punch in a way) the server had no issues switching them out for me. The apps were all good we had spinach dip, cheese curds, and pepperoni pizza the portions were enough for 2 to share we had some food left and took the rest of the pizza home. The food was fresh and service good. I would go again“

“My husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary tonight at Knife and we were very pleased with the atmosphere, food and the wait staff. I had a 6oz Filet Oscar style. When I say the crab was melting in my mouth, I’m not lying. It was very good. It did not have a fishy taste to it at all. Definitely worth the $20 extra for it. We shared the creamed spinach and roasted carrots. Both were also very flavorful.“

We had filets which were cooked perfectly and tender. Service was excellent. Only complaint is the sides menu is small, but we had the creamed corn which was fantastic. The atmosphere/ambiance was excellent. It was very quiet when we were there, but there were only a few tables. I suspect it gets a little louder on a busy Fri or Sat night. Also, an intimate live music area in the back behind the center bar. Overall, this place is a hidden gem, and we will be back. I highly recommend Arthur's for any special occasion.“

I am originally from Virginia, so I am a big seafood lover, and it's always very nice and comforting to see when restaurants have East Coast oysters in Texas.

Seafood in general in Dallas, Texas is horrible. So when places offer seafood, I really stay away, but in this instance, it was the complete opposite. Their seafood appetizer option truly blew me away.

“We come to this location as it's close by and the manager, Josh is so sweet and always takes care of us. He always recognizes us when we come in and treats us so nicely. As we were headed to a table, he asked my grandmother what she wanted to drink and he delivered the glass of wine as we sat down...talk about service!! Josh is always there, I think he sleeps there....lol. He has always made sure we are taken care of and he's so sweet. Our waitress, Rossey was sweet too!!
