“Absolutely delicious, the raw oysters were spectacular and we both LOVED the cesar salad. The sardines and oysters were both not fishy at all, delicious, fresh, and smooth tasting. The cesar salad comes with toasted breadcrumbs and is absolutely marvelous. The beef tartar is also delicious, the texture is wonderful and the cheese is super complementary.

“I saw The Shore on my Google map and clicked on the link. I saw their Happy Hour Menu and noticed they had 1/2 price Oysters and several other choices. We decided to stop there on our way back home. We got there at 3:30 and found that they would not open until 4 pm due to an earlier water leak. We asked if we could just sit at the bar until they opened because we really wanted to have oysters for our anniversary. The manager said since we were wanting oysters we could sit at the bar and get drinks and the oysters. Chef Cody explained all the different oysters offered and we decided to let him choose the oysters and we were not disappointed . He chose the gulf coast, summer time, Black moon and pink moon. All the options were fresh tasting with just a touch of saltiness . We also had the mussels with fries. We have not had mussels this good in a very long time. the broth was thick with butter, wine and capers. The grilled ciabatta bread was so buttery and crispy we ordered additional pieces. The calamari was lightly breaded rings and tentacles and were heavenly. We also tried the Hi Mexican Lager on tap, it was light and smooth. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful with our choices. We also would like to thank the manager who being so accommodating to us and making our 42nd anniversary so special. We will definitely stop there again!!!!!“

Knockout martini is amazing, Bob Armstrong dip is unbeatable. The burritos and beef fajitas are the best by far. “My best friend brought me to this neighborhood spot place as I love mezcals. The hostess greeted us with a smile and took us to the patio where the ambiance and interior is inviting taking you on an escape from Austin as if in another part of the world. The spirits selection is amazing. But this was just a simple night out to have an after dinner drink and a birthday dessert. What made a simple night into something extraordinary and awesome was the donning experience.

She greeted us with a warming smile and guided us through the cocktail menu. Recommending a a take on a penicillin which is my favorite go to, was served up not on the rocks and tasted amazing. She engaged great conversation with us that just felt real and genuine. She brought a piece of back home with the experience she brought to the table. Looking forward to the full dinner adventure for next time.
