We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

BUT, that being said it was still yummy! The textures were good and they had lots of yummy options on their menu! Definitely give it a try!“

“OMG! This place is AMAZING! If you're a first time visitor, they'll ask for your name, and then even remember you the next time you come in. That, along with their truly delicious food, is just 1 of the many reasons I keep coming back. Each day they serve a different daily special. “My husband and I had dinner there a few nights ago and the food was fabulous. My pork osso buco was so tender and my husband’s chicken provoleta was equally delicious. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip with artisan flat bread and the multi layer chocolate cake and loved both. My education is in design so I pay close attention to my surroundings. The restaurant is beautifully designed and not overdone and from what I saw every table in the restaurant has a view of the city. The flatware was the perfect weight and designed by the well known British designer Robert Welch and lastly the beautiful linens are manufactured in Italy for a beautiful soft finishing touch. All and all it was a wonderful dinner and the staff was perfect, especially our server Sam she was very professional. When we were leaving we saw one of the chefs and told him how much we loved our dinner. He informed us that they have only been open for a week and a half. We were really surprised. I’ve been to other restaurants that have been open for months and can’t get the food and staff in sync no matter how hard they try. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.“

“This restaurant is a gem!! It is nestled in the Avenues of SLC. The restaurant’s atmosphere is so charming- it’s in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.“

“My husband and I first visited Roux last year and it has become our place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special occasion. The rotating menu always has unique flavors that are incredible! We still have yet to try something we didn’t like. The funeral potato pave is consistently one of our favorites. “We came with our dog in training and sat on the patio. Our server was so awesome with our pup. She immediately brought out a bowl of water, had treats for her, and was understanding when she exhibited poor manners ( jumping up and barking for more treats). We had the beer and poutine. The poutine was a large bowl-very shareable. It was mozzarella poutine, the gravy was salty, but delish! Would totally recommend this place, atmosphere was chill and friendly. Very neighborhood hangout kind of vibe.“

“Wow! First- the entire staff here were top notch- not one person standing around even though I came in at a relatively slow moment. Every single person stayed busy, but Cynthia was a standout. She was really pleasant and very attentive. She was doing it all- making shakes, running the drive through, taking orders at the front, restocking, sweeping, wiping tables, and literally had a smile on her face the whole time. “What an amazing breakfast we had. We filled the entire square table with all our dishes. We all agreed the French toast was dynamite. It isn’t trying to be fancy, just fluffy, delicious French toast. The sourdough bread also top notch. (Comes buttered). The porridge was great, but comes with peanut butter mixed in. The avocado toast - they also kept simple, but really, really great, fresh sliced tomatoes and I had over easy eggs on top. Two types of hot sauce on the table. My husband loved his corned beef omelette and my friend loved the breakfast burrito, he called it gourmet! Two thumbs up, 5 stars for sure and I’m a very picky food gal.“

“We visited SLC from the UK in June and discovered Nona Bistro on TikTok! It was such a gem—the food was delicious, the atmosphere calm and relaxed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It made for a memorable experience.
Here’s what we ate:

• Focaccia Bread: Perfectly done—chef’s kiss, 10/10.
• Charcuterie Board: A nice variety, though a dip would’ve added extra flavour and texture to the spread.
• Cast Iron Lasagne: Absolutely delicious!
• Chicken Piccata: Nice, but drenched in capers, slightly too crispy and a bit spicier than expected. I wasn’t aware it would have a kick, and unfortunately, spice can trigger my endometriosis symptoms, so I couldn’t finish it.
• Dessert: Olive oil pound cake with bourbon whipped cream and berry compote. Honestly, I still dream about it—20/10, could’ve easily had two!

Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommended!“

“We ordered 10 meals for an early lunch (11 am). I ordered online with a pick-up time of 11. They don't open until 11 am but I was greeted kindly and they were already preparing my meals. They had them to me by 11:10 with a smile and a great attitude. The meals were all amazing. Only a few of the people there had tried the restaurant and every one of them said they would get their meal again. I have found a new favorite restaurant. The food was fresh, healthy and well prepared with good portions of fish/steak/chicken. Thank you Flower Child! I look forward to visiting you again in the future.“

“We had a delightful meal here! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything my table had was very well liked. I recommend the Chipotle Citrus “Steyk Sticks”. The dipping sauce was to die for. We actually used it to dip our fries in as well. The Ike and Tina burger was also a hit. Once you finish your meal at the Steyk Center, you can head to the other side of the building for live music and more fun. The owner of the place also shared a rumor that boozy milkshakes may make their way to the menu sometime. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻“

“Overall, it's a great place to eat. I appreciate the good prices. The only reason it's not 5 stars like almost everything else in this Hospital, is because of the service. They have ludicrous hours (closing the grill at 6:45, the peak of dinner time???). My wife and I have also noticed multiple times where the grill workers will move at a snails pace from 6:15 until they close it at 6:45. I don't know if that's intentional, but it's frustrating to be in line for 25 minutes and then they just close the grill station. At no other time of day, no matter how busy, does it take 25 minutes at the grill.“
