“This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to, period! The service is always first class and you feel like a person not a number. I’m not big into the food becuase im more a coffee guy. That being said, the homemade pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches are awesome! Have to try at least one. Now, the coffee is on point! They use very good espresso beans and their baristas are amazing. The place can get packed quickly and that’s a sign of why this place is so good. Lastly, it’s family friendly, which is a big plus.“

“The beignets are made fresh to order. We ordered two orders ( 3 per order) of the powdered sugar beignets and they were ??. We tried the vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry sauces and they made the beignets even better. The vanilla puts you in the mind of a cinnamon roll frosting but better. Beware the powdered sugar beignets can get MESSY so don’t eat them in your car……

The staff were very friendly.

Only downside I there isn’t much seating.

“Not only is their esthetic so calming and perfect for a slow morning coffee and read of a book, but the coffee is so good! I’ve only just had either black hot and iced coffee, and both are so good. Beans aren’t burnt and the overall coffee flavor is the right amount of bitter and sweet. A cappuccino is next on my list, but you know a coffee place is doing it right if just their black coffee is great!

Bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel is a classic! Just YUMM! Every worker I’ve encountered have been so kind! Even on their busy days, you don’t feel like they’re rushing you.“

“I loved going here and the employees were so nice. I am gluten free and ate the cupcakes. One of the employees showed me everything they make that’s gluten free daily and what they can make upon request. I am partial to the gluten free chocolate cupcake but the vanilla was good too!“

“Stumbled upon this gem on our morning walk. We loved the matcha lattes! Pro tip: they make their own lavender syrup and it is amazing - add to your matcha and you will not be disappointed as was suggested by a staff member! It was busy so food wasn’t quick but the place was full so we understand that on a weekend!

Great beer selection too - we left with a 4-pack (super convenient btw) of a local beer to take home and didn’t even plan on buying beer at 10am. We will be back to try the espresso martinis!

“So it is 2:43 PM on November 21st 2024 I ordered a Vente iced caramel macchiato when I asked for a refill I was told I couldn’t get one on iced caramel macchiato when the thing says you get a free refill but the young lady the perky slightly chunky one said I couldn’t, but the thing says on the advertisement you can get a refill on any drink hot or cold and since I got a iced caramel macchiato, she told me I couldn’t. She didn’t want to scan the app. She didn’t wanna do nothing the one time that I wanna do it, I can’t because somebody doesn’t wanna make me one and I Paid for my first drink, but they wouldn’t allow me to get the second one. She lied and I know it. I am a bit disgruntled by that experience“

“5/3/2025: I was eyeing the honeydew melon smoothie. But, since it was before noon, I went with the large iced caramel macchiato. I paid $7.10; coffee’s getting expensive these days. It was too sweet for my liking and could have had a few more ice cubes as it was more warm than iced. After letting it rest, it cooled down. I will say, I rank their espresso better than Starbucks but lower than Peet’s Coffee.

I should’ve went with my gut and tried the honeydew melon smoothie with honey boba :(

“We had breakfast at this location. It was a short walk from our hotel so it was convenient. We also selected it because it had outdoor seating. We ordered 2 bacon sausage egg wraps, 1 spinach feta wrap, a Mocha cookie crumble, 1 latte, and the frozen pineapple strawberry lemonade. The drinks were fine. The bacon sausage wraps were not good. My husband ate his, but I fed mine to animals passing by. The service was great, and the atmosphere was as well. I'd visit this location again, but I'll stick to the cheese Danish or something else.“

“Very luxurious coffee shop! The lighting, the coffee, and especially the food. I got the Breakfast Burrito and my girlfriend got the yogurt bowl. Her bowl was okay but the burrito was knock your socks off good!!! Coffee was okay but the stellar food presentation and taste made up for it!“

“We stumbled upon this gem after getting off the National Harbor bus. We were looking for another restaurant it was not in sight and it was so hot outside. We ventured into an alley and saw this place. Nice people and wonderful service. Food was prompt and delicious. I had a bacon egg and cheese on plain bacon, cheese danish and coffee. Hubby had turkey sandwich with coffee.

“I had a wonderful experience at the Starbucks inside Safeway recently, thanks to the fantastic customer service provided by Caroline. She was incredibly kind and super helpful at the desk, making sure my order was just right and even offering great suggestions. Caroline truly goes above and beyond for her customers, and her warm smile made my day. Plus, I couldn’t help but notice the adorable cat pins on her hat—they added such a fun and personal touch! “Due to some poor planning (by me), I wound having more than an hour to kill in Alexandria before a work meeting. I made my way to this Starbucks, and it turned out to be perfect: 1) It was quiet and conducive to getting some work done while waiting 2) The staff was extraordinarily friendly, greeting customers like old friends (which some of them might have been) and making a loiterer like myself feel welcome 3) There was no door code for the bathroom and no wifi password – so I didn’t feel like I was under suspicion. I felt sort of human. Which is a welcome feeling these days.

“This location serves as my regular coffee stop before heading into work, and I felt compelled to review it due to the consistently excellent service provided by the team. My order is always prepared perfectly, and the customer service is outstanding. While my positive experience may be partly attributed to visiting before the morning rush, I have consistently had a great experience each time I’ve been there.“

“Food was amazing. I wanted one of everything. I am going to have to come back a few time to try all the amazing food. We had the lamb hash, oatmeal and 2 of the sandwiches. The layers of flavors were awesome. Great texture to each dish. I also had the Tatte Latte which was unique and layered with flavors. Not “coffee”
Like you know it but more “chai” in flavors.“

“I started coming to this location about a year ago but recently it’s been the only Dunkin I will go to because my order is never wrong and the staff are always kind, especially Hafsa. She always has smile, she always greets everyone and is always on top of the orders. I do recommend this location“
