All of the food was amazing and so creative, especially the beet tartare which had this vegan egg yolk that looked and tasted like a real egg yolk! The mocktails were really fun too.
Only downside is that it’s pricey for the amount of food you get, but if you’re looking for a more refined dining experience with great atmosphere and delicious food you should definitely consider this place.”

Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. The location and ample parking made coming and going a breeze each time. We'll be back.”

I would have rated this 8/10, still great, but extra points to Gail who gave excellent service and wine recommendations when my guest and I couldn't agree on a bottle she had a blast catering to our needs and making the visit memorable

My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. Not only does it have great beer and a very cool dive-bar-vibe, but it is so wonderful that literally every item on the menu can be made vegan, with a huge selection of meat alternatives and yummy vegan cheeses (there's also a create-your-own section!) I always clean up after him as toddlers can be messy and they insisted on letting them clean up (I did it anyway). The pasta dish came before the salad and they just stuffed everything on the table. The Caesar salad was pedestrian at best. The pasta dish was very good. I thought the value of the meal was reasonable mainly because the prices seemed reasonable as well. Drinks were $16, about what you expect these days but apps (~$9 to $12), soups and salads (~$10 to ~$15), entrees (~low $20's to mid-$30's) and sides (~$6-$9) seemed below average prices these days.”

“Their croissants, pastries, and other baked goods are very high quality. The closest I've been able to find in northern Virginia to that of a bakery in France. The service is great too, with everyone being very friendly.”
