“Quality of basic is top notch from O-rings to the burgers to the salad. There’s something for everybody. Jamie the owner is very personable and if you’re new, gives great recommendations for food or drinks. Basic has the best cocktail menu in the whole square. I recommend the Chicago dog or the burger but if you can make it on the weekends the bagel sandwiches are delicious and everything is reasonably priced.“

“Have done delivery and take out from here before and it never disappoints. Burgers are great and today went post workout and ordered to go while waiting. It was happy hour so got $2 off my drink and the woman at the bar was so patient with me and let me try several of their options before I finally decided on something delicious to drink.

“This is the best Five Guys I have been to in a long time. When I heard they were essentially reopening the first five guys I had to check this place out and honestly it was like they were working at a higher standard than most other stores to live up to it being the original or something. My burger was great, the fries were perfect, the people working there were friendly and helpful and there was even a neat Mural on the wall that made this location feel special. Good Job!“

Tried this one's in a VA. Shopping Center. Greeted with a smile. There were about six people behind the counter to take orders/serve. The food came out quickly. All food was made fresh to order. Good burgers with PLENTY of toppings to choose from. The fries are always great when hot. (& they were). Their Milkshakes must be good now. Literally every customer there ordered one. Atmosphere was more quiet than expected.“

The burger had a lot of toppings and the fries were huge. I also got a bottle of water which came out to $29. I will say that the food was good but as other of you to point out, this is very expensive for what you get. I’m glad that I ate her, but I would try another place next time.“

“This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo (blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch) and House (onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt) I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! This is a Black owned, gourmet hot dog spot! Very cool!“

The sandwiches are so freaking good, and I'm usually not big on fries or home-made chips, but I finished it all, they're both so delicious. “As someone who has wanted to try Cracked for some time, I was finally able to do so. The animal was precisely what I expected: hearty and meaty goodness. My only complaint is that I wish they had put more crack sauce and salt/pepper on the eggs. The tots were fried perfectly and properly coated with Old Bay. There is a great atmosphere and peaceful surroundings that make you forget that you're in the middle of NOVA.

Parking: Garage parking is available, but you can also opt for street parking closer to Boeing Bridge Park or by the sports field and enjoy a nice pre- and post-meal stroll.“

“In DC for a layover. Chick-fil-A was closed, and we were really craving burgers. I love all of the different options for toppings, and the food came out relatively quick. The french fries were tasty. Not super crisp, but salt usually helps make everything taste better. I got a burger without a bun, and the foil container. It came in, was really nice. It was very convenient and easy to eat. I will be excited when Chick-fil-A opens back up, but this was a worthy substitute.“

The buffet is alright but the wraps/sandwiches are where it's at. Very friendly and accommodating service as well. Best stuff from buffet: fried cauliflower and baby bok choy salad. I also frequent the wrap specials, wrap of the day with chips and fountain drink, as they are a good deal and pretty healthy if you get baked lays and unsweet tea (gold peak).“
