Got the short rib which was excellent as were the pomme puree with it. Inside was very nice and had a good selection on the menu. Almost got the pasta but glad I did not. Think a lot of the entrees were in the 25-35 range though of course more expensive stuff. It was crowded but not very loud, which was good. Solid winner, and wishing the owner the best, he seems to know about this as well as Human Misery (his words).“

“Matchbox used to be one of my favorite restaurant chains. Now that it's owned by some big corporate company, it sucks. The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!“

“What a treat to start off our dining with a warm monkey bread roll and strawberry butter! I enjoyed chicken salad atop mixed greens, fresh strawberry and apple pieces, dried cranberries, slivered almonds and an amazing lemon vinaigrette. My daughter got the sampler with tortilla soup, half a chicken salad sandwich and a side salad. She really enjoyed the iced tea. The restaurant is right off of the shopping area, tables are close so the atmosphere is not particularly special to look at but the food is great.“

The breakfast was consistently delicious, and I appreciated the staff going above and beyond, especially when they tracked down the peach cream cheese after it was no longer on the menu. The bar area has a fantastic vibe; I even caught the NBA Finals there and had a great time socializing with fellow guests. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“

What really made the night stand out was our server, Noni. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the massive menu. She took excellent care of our table, ensuring our drinks were always full and our food came out perfectly. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, she maintained a warm and positive attitude. Noni went above and beyond, and we will definitely be returning—just hoping to sit in her section again!“

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.
