“When I went it was during a very busy time and there was only two people running the shop. But I have to say the food hair was pretty terrific. If you're looking for a reasonably priced flavor packed meal, I would stop here. I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the meals here to be honest. Chutney was flavorful, the Masala Dolsa was crispy but with some fluff and packed with onions (which was a lovely surprise) and it honestly made me regret not ordering two plates.”

“Tacos are always a great go to when I'm hungry. I LOVE tacos! so last weekend while in Ventura, we decided to stop at @taqueriacuernavaca express location on Main Street. We tried a variety - chicharrón; lengua, pastor, asada and mushroom/rajas/cheese. I must say my favorite is the veggie because not a lot of places have this option. Their salsa bar is always fresh! And even if you want even more food options other than tacos, they have another location just up the avenue. Always tasty, always fresh. Fast and friendly service. The day we went we could overhear the live music from across the street making for a special treat. My husband and I love coming here after we catch a movie down the street.”

Everything looked incredible, it was hard to choose. We ended up with a raspberry and chocolate twist, a pineapple strudel, a croissant breakfast sandwich, a mocha and a cold brew.The twist and the strudel were perfectly fruity, flaky and soft. The sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Perfectly crusty and flaky, a light pistachio pastry cream in the center, covered in crushed pistachios and sugar, without being overly sweet.Cannot wait to come back and try more.”

“the man who helped me is awesome!!! i placed a pickup order through a third party app and he didn't see it until i came to pick it up, but he made it super fast and was just nice and pleasant all around. the food was delicious!!!! i got a kafta wrap with the works, im not usually a tomato gal but the veg was chopped up so finely i could hardly tell. there was also some pickles, i think cucumber and some pink radish or maybe turnips, so yummy!! i got some extra garlic sauce on the side and wowza the portion was huge lol. i'll probably put it on everything i eat for a days, it was amazing!! the prices were great too. will absolutely be back to try the falafel next!!!”

“Such a cute little shop! I bought their juices for the first time at the Oxnard farmers market but they are not there every weekend so I came to the shop today. Way more choice and some healthy snacks! They give you a rebate if you bring back their glass jars which is really cool and planet friendly! They make all their stuff in house. They have juices, wellness shots, nut mylks (they spell it like that I love it!) healthy eats, smoothies, açaí bowls and coffee or kombucha. They are a tad pricey but for what you get and everything being made in house, healthy and fresh I think it's worth it!”

I had the pleasure of meeting Evyn and Carly while sitting at the bar top. We shared laughs and stories while they recommended activities for my stay in Ventura. “We had a great dinner at Prime for my birthday. We love the food & service. The only issue we had is we were charged $6 for club soda! I honestly feel this is way too much to charge a customer. We also sat at the table in front of the fireplace, it was raining & windy out, but the exit area in the patio where we were seated was the only area not covered from the cooler weather & the heater was broken. Luckily the fireplace kept a few of us warm but everyone else was cold. We would've moved but we were a party of 6 & had already ordered drinks and apps. & didn't want to get up and move.”

Went with a couple friends and enjoyed nice conversation with the husband and wife owners, and scored a great table on a Saturday night with no advance reservations. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of wine that our friendly server Sarah recommended based on our preference of a full body red. We shared their Cave Salad and mushroom pizza, which were both delicious (and we would order again), although they have a surprisingly varied menu. I look forward to my next visit!”

“I was surprised when I came to this place on a recommendation from a friend. It's a little plain on the inside but very spacious. I thought this place was a buffet of seafood, but I was wrong. This place is a crab boil place. It was so delicious. We got the house style blue star platter. There was so much food on here. We got mussles, corn, crayfish, and shrimp with sausage. It was so good I wanted to slurp the sauce with the muscle shell, but I restrained myself because I was sharing this meal. Lol. I truly enjoyed this meal. Great with rice. I even took a doggy bag home. I recommend you try this place. I also ordered a side of fries. Cajun fries, that is, and they weren't these little French fries either. They were huge and so hot. I love this because some places give like warm fries. The seasoning is great and not over salted.”

They have a big restaurant and their food is delicious and it's great for parties too. They have a large menu and it is really great to eat here. It's nice. It's quiet and it's clean, very roomy. “I was on my way to solvang for vacation and made a stop for breakfast. I came here around 10:30am on a Sunday and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Our waitress came by and took our order and the food came out quickly and hot! They have a ton of booths and tables inside but it does get busy. Our food was great! The breakfast burrito had sausage, egg, cheese and potato with sour cream and salsa on the side. It was so hot and tasted fresh. The Swedish pancakes are always amazing and delicious! I'm sad there isn't a location closer but if I'm headed this way I'll be back!”

I also snagged me a blueberry scone. It was soft and flaky but it lacked the flavor I was expecting. There were many other pastries to choose from. They also serve food. “This was my first visit to Deep Sea wines. They have two tasting flights: an all red flight for $26 and a mixed flight called the Signature Tasting Flight for $20. I decided to try the Signature Tasting Flight which consisted of a 2022 "The Seahorse" Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 "The Seaturtle" Chardonnay, 2022 "The Seastar" Rose, 2021 "The Helmet" Pinot Noir, and 2021 "The Duel" Red Blend. They also offer food, ranging from a cheese plate ($18), three pizza options, two desserts. I didn't have any food during my tastings but some other customers ordered while I was there and the pizzas looked really tasty. Definitely might give them a chance the next time I stop by. I enjoyed all the wines I had that day but I ended up taking The Seahorse Sauvignon Blanc home. They also were kind enough to let me try the Conway Pinot Noir which was different from the Helmet Pinot that was part of the Signature Flight. I love when I'm able to do a side-by-side comparison of two wines - it often helps me decide what I'm going to purchase. Even though I preferred the Helmet Pinot more than the Conway (although both were really good), I was in a Sauvignon Blanc mood so I decided to take that home. The tasting room was spacious with comfy couches, bar seating and even an outdoor patio. With the location being at Ventura Harbor Village, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house as you're able to look out at the boats and water while you taste. As for parking, when I arrived at about 10:30 am that morning (the tasting room doesn't open until 11am) there were plenty of spaces. But other customers that came in after me commented how it was hard to find parking as there was an event happening that day, so the lot was very full. Stephanie and Jessica poured my wines for me and they were great! Answered all my questions, were prompt when I was ready for my next pour and were super pleasant. Even when they got very busy towards the end of my tasting, they still made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely recommend it.”

She did awesome job yesterday because she could handle by herself the busy time and offering us a real good customer service even though the place was very busy.The manager should not allow the earpods during the working time specially the guy that was yesterday, he had no absolutely help behaviour to his co-workers and his pizza was horrendous.However I feel grateful with Sarah because she did an incredible job (she took orders, served sides, entries, served drinks and was being cashier at the same time) Sarah and Alberto are the kind of workers that make it worth visit Sbarro.”

“I don’t normally take time to write reviews but felt I needed to after all of the hard work the staff visibly put in over the Holidays.I was there when the machines went down and saw that the staff was working hard to take care of every single person in line and keep us informed of the status of things.It was frustrating for the business to have issues the day before Thanksgiving but what was controllable by the staff was being handled with great efficiency and care.I am from out of town and had wanted to pick up a ham on my way to family for Thanksgiving.I had expected that I may encounter a line given it was the day before Thanksgiving but was surprised to see just how long the line was.Because there was a huge line I walked inside to see what was going on and noticed that there were cashiers at every register helping customers. Can’t really complain about a line when every available register is being used.There was a nice lady walking the line, I think her name was Sue, who was doing her best to answer questions and make sure people were in the correct line.When I got to the front of the line I was helped by Christy who was amazing and professional.I appreciate that even though it was busy she noticed I had reserved a quarter ham and explained to me the cost difference between the more expensive quarter hams and the half hams.We were able to get me a much bigger ham for almost the same price I would have paid for the smaller quarter ham. So I now have leftovers I can look forward to in my freezer.I have read some of the reviews and understand people’s frustration about glaze issues ( given there was an issue with the machine and the staff was very transparent about what was going on and the work they were doing to get it fixed) but I don’t understand posting a poor review without giving the business a chance to rectify the situation.While I feel corporate could do a much better job ensuring the stores have enough room to care for their holiday traffic ( that store seems way to small to handle that kind of holiday traffic), I feel like the manager did a great job ensuring the workers in the store were doing what they could to keep things going and get people cared for.We will come back for sure.”

After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. My buddy had a burrito and said it was also pretty good, but regretted not getting the fish tacos when he saw mine. I had one grilled and one fried fish taco, both Baja style, but preferred the fried fish with the Baja sauce that comes on it. The tacos are a decent size, and 2 to 3 are filling enough depending on your appetite. This place operates with an order window on one side and the pick up window on the other. They call out your number and you find a spot to eat. Seating is picnic style, with the option of sitting on the covered patio or uncovered seating area. For how busy this place gets, with everything being made fresh to order, service is decently fast and friendly. They validate parking for the garage, giving you 2 free hours, more than enough time to eat and walk off the food afterward. I'll be back to try their breakfast burrito, as breakfast is only served until noon so I was a little too late this time. Well, that's this critic's review, until next time I'll be eating.”
