Jessica even let me try a little of the Green Thai Tea as it was leftover from an order before me vs it going to waste. She knew that it was one of the drinks I was between so it was thoughtful of her to let me try it. It was very good, & it’ll probably be my order next time I’m back. It’s a longer drive for me, but I think it may be worth the drive for the quality vs other tea shops in the Ventura county area. They used freshly brewed tea made to order for my milk tea vs some places where you see a lot of powders being blended or premade mixes. The boba serving amount was perfect, had enough to last me my entire drink.”

Edenic nails it with their atmosphere, prices, and most importantly to me their customer service. Oh and ofcourse can't forget how amazing their smoothies are. Having tried every smoothie on the menu, I can definitely say that if you like all natural and healthy ingredients put into your body, without lacking flavor, then edenic is a must! And this is coming from someone who has tried every smoothie place under the sun. I knew edenic had something special when I was able to get my sugar obsessed , never try anything healthy or new teenage son addicted to their smoothies. Also would love to note that their chicken pesto panini sandwich is by far one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.”

“Jason from Ruffhouse was fantastic! He catered our wedding in Ventura on 9/21 for about 97 people, and he was incredibly prompt with communication, very easygoing and professional. The food was SO GOOD - the venue we had chosen didn't have a kitchen available, so they brought in all the food freshly prepared and kept it hot. Our guests were raving about it - they especially loved the brisket. My husband is from Texas and I'm from California, so it was extra fun given it's CA-TX bbq. We loved it and highly recommend, thank you, Jason and team!”

“if I had to choose where to get a good smash burger this would be it. over all of the places I’ve tried a hamburger this place really outdoes itself, when I first came in the atmosphere was relaxing and the music really just made me want to sit down and take it all in, id honestly just eat inside just to listen to the music lol, but as for the food I honestly would make this the #1 hamburger place to visit in california instead of in n out, cause it tasted super good and everything was well balanced and I absolutely loved the sauce they used, my only critique would be maybe making the fries a little bit more crispy and seasoned, but if definitely recommend coming here and eating! totally worth it ?”

The Food- Bill had Mahi Mahi with a pineapple salsa and asparagus risotto. His plate was so clean I don't think it required washing. Jacki has the beef tournedos. I had her leftovers this a.m. in an omelet. Thumbs up from both of us on this dish. Last night's dinner for me was Chicken Tortilla soup and lamb sliders. So good on both counts. The best part was no dish we had was above $32. Many menu items in the $20-25 range.
Wines are quite reasonable. We shared a bottle of The Prisoner for $55. This very sought after blend is $40-45 in discount wine stores $49 at VONS.
The people - Our evening was made better by our server, Megan who never put a foot wrong all night long. Above and beyond service with personality. Michel, the owner/chef was seen in conversation at most every table including ours. Funny and talented guy. He cares about every plate served and every person seated.
Ambiance - We ate in the the back room. Very stylish and comfortable. Complimented the meal.
It's getting harder and harder to get find truly fine dining at this price point. Reward yourself, go see Michel, Megan and the crew at The Cave. You'll be impressed.”

Family run and the service is always spot on. I like that if you go there often enough they're most likely going to start remembering you and what you order and those places are hard to find anymore.

Not too sweet, a tiny bit spicy, very flavorful. One of the best of these seasonal flavored lattes that I’ve tried. Still highlighted the coffee while being fun and accessible. Several times while stopping in, I've encountered the most pleasant and professional employees. They are always cheerful, helpful and appear to really enjoy working at this location with one another; and serving the customer. Outstanding customer service by Yadira, Lorena, Flower and Chris.
The food is always hot, fresh and bountiful. The cooks take the time to make it right.
Carls Jr should take note of this franchise and model their other locations after this one on Thompson Blvd.

The atmosphere was wonderful sitting on a warm day in the patio. The server was very attentive to our needs.
This is a place dedicated to SLOW FOOD. Allow at least 1 hour for lunch, at least 1.5 hours if you are having a dessert.
Food was extremely well prepared and you can taste the difference in quality and careful preparation. BTW, the crab cakes are the more spiced variety.
We REALLY enjoyed the Bread Pudding which is served with freshly prepared Caramel Sauce.”

I finally got to experience and dive into the Mexican cuisine. I can't speak highly enough about the customer service from our waitress. She was an expert when it came to recommending her favorite dishes. In the end I will say that I was 100% satisfied with the torta and ice cold beer. My girlfriend got the Chipotle chicken and she absolutely loved it as well. Again, highly recommend.”

“I don’t wanna over hype this place, but damn! I don’t know what to brag about first… the excellent beers, the tastiest burger ever, or how every single French fry was the best one!
I’ll just start in alphabetical order :) can only get a flight of their beers, but I ain’t sad about it. I’m more of an ipa person but the Stiflers Mom was my favorite, and the amber was a perfect match for the BellRingers Double Smash Burger. The burger! THE BURGER! So darn tasty! My old age won’t let me do anything spicey anymore, but the crispy jalepenos made my tastebuds happy without drowning myself in my sweat. Almost like adding just enough pepper till you taste it. The bacon was juicy and crispy at the same time. I’d tell you that I was wondering how they concocted such a delicious burger, but I’d be lying, I was just trying to make sure I was chewing my food and not look like an absolute heathen in public. Last, but definitely not least, the fries. Every single one, the perfect crisp, the perfect amount of salt. I’m not the taking pictures of food type, but I have to admit, I took a picture of the fries to brag to my wife ?. They are that great.
I honestly wasn’t hungry and just trying to kill time, but the 30min and empty plate and flight tell a different story.”

Parking: The cafe shares its parking lot with other businesses. I have never had a problem finding a space to park when I visit.

“Just tried this sushi spot near the beach. It’s great! The food is high quality, the service is great, it comes out relatively fast. I can’t help but think that their prices are a little too high, particularly bc of the location which is a parking lot basically you expect it to be cheap and it’s not. While price will prevent me from coming back too often, I do hope to return here soon. Recommend trying this spot if you haven’t and you’re in the area. I personally recommend their Katsu and the yellowtail basic roll. They also do a good hot scallop roll thing.”

Crispy on the outside and scallopy goodness in the middle. They melt in your mouth. NOT greasy at all. Ended up bringing half of the scallops & chips plus the filets home. Eyes were bigger than my stomach as they say and portions are pretty big.... I suggest you arrive early. We arrived at 11am. Parking became tough after 12 noon. When we walked out a few hours later, parking lot was packed. Not one spot available.”

“The food was absolutely delicious but the young lady named Evelin, that took our order was rude and extremely condescending to me upon ordering two one trip small salads. She asked I wanted large salads and I said no just two of the small ones since were getting pizza. And she said so two of the side salads ... I call them by how they are named. I replied and said sorry I didn't call them by the right name, I want two of the side salads. Evelin not only used a sarcastic tone of voice but also rolled her eyes at me. We continued our order and paid leaving her no tip. Evidentially she wasn't smart enough to put two and two together that I wanted two of the smaller sized salads. Rude for absolutely no reason other than to be rude. Even the co-worker on the next register over noticed her attitude towards me.”

With 700 or more tequilas, we were able to order flights of several reposado tequilas to try. It was amazing. I wish they had a tequila sommelier on staff to walk us through each glass. That would make for the cherry on top! Nonetheless, my friends and I googled each one and performed our own tasting experience. The food was amazing! Chips, salsa, guacamole, ceviche, and best of all their chimichanga! I'll definitely be back for more. 7 tequilas down, 693 to go.”

“We had a great dinner at Prime for my birthday. We love the food & service. The only issue we had is we were charged $6 for club soda! I honestly feel this is way too much to charge a customer. We also sat at the table in front of the fireplace, it was raining & windy out, but the exit area in the patio where we were seated was the only area not covered from the cooler weather & the heater was broken. Luckily the fireplace kept a few of us warm but everyone else was cold. We would've moved but we were a party of 6 & had already ordered drinks and apps. & didn't want to get up and move.”

I opt for take-out while inside, which generally takes about ~15 minutes while I go wander the Last Chance store nextdoor. Never fails.
Food is great, combos are great. Staff is really nice, and happy to help you. The only knock is if I get something fried (doesn't travel well at all).”

It was taken care of otherwise I was prepared to wash dishes & mop floors! Great food. It was obviously a "miscommunication" b cause I did show the lovely server me ticket; I guess she just assumed it was for 2, despite me being alone.”

After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. Well as time goes along some things get lost and today the wife found the receipt and called up the restaurant and talk to the manager his name is Nicholas. Well he did a great job he not only provided the meals for us but he was Very very cordial about it and thoroughly understanding he did a great job he made a lifetime customer with my wife and I and I appreciate his hard work and the good food that comes out of this restaurant thank you”

“I make this stop every time I head through Ventura on the 101. The tacos are fantastic and the cheesy hardshells truly make the experience. I also love their cheescurds, which are fun thing to find outside the Midwest. Do your self a favor and order from the road if you want to save time. The staff are friendly, but orders consistently come up slowly and this place is popular so eating outside at a counter is the most likely dining scenario. If I had one actual critique, it is that they package everything to death in clear plastic shells. The amount of trash generated by a single order is troubling.”

“Many years ago my wife and I were driving down the freeway and decided we wanted a seafood dinner. We approached Seaward ave and decided to get off and see what restaurants we could find. We figured with the name Seaward there had to be a seafood restaurant. We drove all the way to the dead end at the beach. As we made the return loop we noticed Eric Ericksons restaurant , bingo,. We stopped in and as we walked to the front door we were greeted by a carved statue of a Viking. We entered and found it very quaint. We sat and after viewing the menu and ordering mai tied we decided to order what was then called the seafood boulyabase. It was fantastic. Since that time Erik's moved to the pier and we have visited many times. My wife passed 7 years ago and I am now living in Tacoma Washington. I will miss the restaurant and the memories it gave us. I am not sure what the name of it is now but you need to try the dish that has muscles, shrimp, crab, clams in a white saffron soup , you won't be disappointed. Oh the sunsets are very beautiful so enjoy I truly miss this place”

The Wikkid sauce is something you just have to try; it's hard to describe, but it's exactly what you want to spice up your sandwich or fries.
