“I think this may be my favorite pho spot now. It was a very cold, frosty evening and we decided we wanted a belly warming meal for our date night dinner. Pho it was! For a starter we ordered the fresh rolls and devoured them quickly. Good size and tasted great. Off to a good start! I ordered the bun with grilled pork, shrimp and spring rolls. It was the perfect size and absolutely filled with flavor. The pork was tender and not fatty/chewy at all. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Same with the spring roll. Crunchy on the outside and packed on the inside. I may have scraped every bit of food out of my bowl. My partner had a large pho with brisket and flank. He wasn't able to finish his entire bowl but complimented the flavor with mmmm's and yums as he ate. The restaurant was a decent size but still felt cozy. We sat in a booth but had the choice of a table as well. Service was efficient and kind. When we paid at the register, they asked how we enjoyed our meal and we complimented them and told them we would definitely be back.“

“Everything is delicious. For a long time we just ordered Bahn Mi sandwiches because they were so delicious. The bread is crackly and soft and the ratio of meat to veg is perfect. Tonight, however, we tried the egg noodle chow mein, the teriyaki chicken, egg rolls and potstickers. We were not disappointed. Everything was great. Happy full bellies! Plus the service is wonderful. Everyone who works there is a delight.“

“First time I've been here since the owners changed from Bamboo Bowl and it's definitely a huge upgrade. The menu has definitely expanded. The pho is clean and tasty but what I enjoyed the most was their homemade cream puff. The staff is so friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience better. They're delivering the goods for a fair price.In longThis is a bustling strip mall on an even-more-bustling 4-lane thoroughfare into Mill Creek. The parking lot is always packed. Especially on weekends, you can often assume that the pool hall/sports bar in the corner suite is drawing most of that traffic. But like most of the smaller businesses here, Pho Hoang has some reserved parking and you can hook it straight up. There's pho available at a couple spots within a few miles, but there are a ton of subdivisions and apartment complexes right around here. I was not at all surprised to see well over a dozen takeaway orders leave the dining room while I ate, and to hear a constant clatter from the kitchen, even though I was the only person eating in.You walk in to an open dining room with minimal decor. Dozen tables, acoustic drop ceiling, simple art. No muss, no fuss. Pay station in the back, tell 'em how many in your party and ya have a seat. No TVs I don't think, no music playing. A couple big potted plants. Seemed like the staff was mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, plus somebody in the kitchen and daughter at the pay station. Everyone is super nice, chatting warmly to each other in Vietnamese throughout my visit. I felt like I was visiting people in their home, in the nicest possible way. For my first time in, I got the usual steak and brisket. A small was filling for sure. You get an old teapot with a teabag steeping in it if you ask. They bring you a chilled plastic bottle of water when you sit. The broth was good stuff here. Rich and marrowy, nice and clear, good balanced spices. Everything in it was as it should be--tender meat, chewy noodles, nice flavor to the meatballs. The meatballs were a nice surprise, actually. The condiments were all in good shape--crunchy sprouts, very juicy fresh lime, super-aromatic basil. They don't bring you jalapenos or cilantro, and I didn't ask for any so I don't know if they stock it. But it was a perfectly satisfying bowl of soup as it was. I was out the door with a good tip for barely $20, happily armored against a cold damp day.“

“This place is EXCELLENT if you want REALLY, GREAT, DELICIOUS pho and Vietnamese food! Their prices are reasonable... as they raised their prices just after the pandemic (a lot of businesses did to make up for their losses)... but, it's still worth it to eat here. They have a huge selection of items for appetizers and dishes... and the staff is friendly. When I joked with one of their cashiers - I told the cashier that they should be playing Vietnamese music rather than Top 40 - whatever disc music they have playing. That's the only drawback... but, that doesn't affect the way they cook their food. It's a great location... busy, but a great location... and you shouldn't feel disappointed at all once you dine here. Keep coming back to this place... as my wife and I have been there SEVERAL times. The staff were kind, quick, and understanding.I'm vegetarian, and they had a good selection of vegetarian options. I went with the vegan pho. Maybe I'm used to other noodle-soup dishes, but I would like a stronger broth; It was very mild for my tastes. However, I still liked it, and all the vegetables were cooked well. Overall, I would recommend.“

“We were there for lunch, we ordered large sized seafood pho, fillet mignon and salmon rolls. We liked all of them especially salmon rolls. Fillet mignon pho has very good quality, thinly sliced beef and seafood pho doesn't have many seafood as expected but was tasty. Salmon rolls win our hearts. We will definitely be going back there for pho and especially for salmon rolls.Parking: Easy free parking, we were lucky to get a spot just in front of the restaurant.“

I get the flank steak pho but am always disappointed with the meat. I know it's not filet mignon but I usually don't even eat it because it's bland and chewy. “After shopping at Alderwood mall on a rainy Saturday afternoon, I looked up a few pho spots within the area and came across Pho 36. I was a little hesitant to give the place a try at first as I have a favorite pho spot further south (on my way home) but am so happy I gave this place a chance. The place had a few tables, and the workers seemed quite busy but I was greeted warmly and seated quickly. The place was noticeably clean too. I ordered the vegetable and fried tofu pho with beef broth and a side of egg rolls. To my delight, they gave me 4 eggs for $8. The broth was some of the best savory broth I've ever had and there was an assortment of vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, green onion) unlike other places that only give you carrots and broccoli. This place has 5 stars in my book and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.“

The place gets packed very quickly midday as workers swarm during their lunch hour. It's very casual and doesn't have too much seating, although a few tables are available outside in nice weather. I'm a fan of vegetarian pho in particular and enjoyed it from this restaurant! They have most of the street food appetizers I saw in DaNang about 2 months ago. They've already dropped the spicy stir fried duck eggs. Darn.We've had a lot of dishes in our 2 visits.They have all the normal rice and vermicelli dishes, plus pho, plus bun São, plus bun mang vit, They also have 3 types of hot pot, and lots of broiled oyster, clam, mussel, and snail dishes.I almost gave them a four star, because both times one of my 4 oysters were mushy. They have reasonably priced beer, which helped me wash down the mushy oyster, and not have any problems with it.See what I mean, they need lots of people to order lots of things, to sustain this menu.“
