“This was an A++ experience. We walked into a busy restaurant where it looked like most tables both inside and outside were taken, but we were greeted right away and told it’d be about two minutes to get a table clean.

We suggested we sit at the bar in case a group of four came in for a table and that was given the go ahead! From then on we hung out with Tom at the bar. He was so busy. Oysters? Tom. Coffee? Tom. Wine? Tom. Margaritas? Tom. Like seven sides of hot sauce?! Tom. He handled every request flying from all corners of the place with ease. He was running food, talking to everyone, and was always front and center the second we needed anything.

Sophia was also crushing everything! She was everywhere, making recommendations, having a great sense of humour, and just in general seemed to elevate everyone around her. There was also a solid crew of support staff!

Calamari and fried shrimp? 10/10 (the shrimp especially were SO good)

The food came quickly, the waitress was prompt and attentive. I never had an empty glass beside me. They always seem to be decently busy, the night we went it was full of couples and families. The decor is dated but I enjoy the no-nonsense charm of a place that’s just focused on serving quality food.“

“Popular fishmonger that sells fish and chips and other items for dine in or takeout. The takeaway fish and chips we had was quite good. Other items we’ve had over the years are more hit and miss. Staff are reasonably friendly but busy. Being a fishmonger, there’s not much ambiance for dining in.“

“Quite contrasting experiences in the reviews. We went for dinner last night an hour before they closed. Upon entering we were warmly greeted with a sincere smile. We had a couple of questions about the menu and our server was helpful.
The food was delicious. The beef was so tender. Wonton soup was terrific. The place was clean. Both people we encountered were very friendly. We both left so full, almost bordering on discomfort.
We also visited a few years ago and had a good experience also. The date has a special importance to us and the food and service added to that memory. A little expensive.“

“Blue water has very consistent quality of food, their sushi bar food are always fresh, I love the stamina roll, it is perfectly balanced with the crab meat, unagi and a little bit of smoked salmon slice inside of the roll. Their Sablefish is one of the best I ever had, it is refreshing and lightly seasoned. But you can still taste every bit of flavour from the miso and the fish.“

God bless this place. What a great concept and addition to main street eats. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Chowders are lovely and comforting. Today I got the po boy sandwich. It is so gooooood, and messy lol. To my surprise I found out that there was kimchi in it! What a great twist/ combination. Sandwich also came with some pickled cabbage. They take your order at the till, then when your food is ready they call your name. This place doesn't have much chairs or tables so just be aware. It's pretty much street food style, order and eat by the windows or outside. They always have fresh seafood coming in daily. They also prep sauces and soups as well to bring home to enjoy!“

“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.“

“We have dined at Oddfish multiple times, and everytime we've been, the food and service had been amazing! The only disappointment we had yesterday, was the fries. They were not the same as the previous times. They seemed undercooked. The color of the fries were quite light. We took these home, and now that I'm looking at them, these look like wedge fries that I make at home.“

“Lunch was delicious! Ordered cod and chips, clam chowder and lemonade and it was all great. The fish was fresh and lightly battered, the chips were perfectly made and the tarter sauce was very flavourful. The clam chowder was light and creamy with plenty of vegetables and clams. “Visited Song Cafe and overall had a good experience. The food was tasty — we ordered the fried tofu and a steak combo, both came out flavorful and well-prepared. The environment is cozy and comfortable, making it a nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal.

The only downside was that the service felt a bit understaffed, so our food took around 20–35 minutes to arrive at the table. Still, once it came, everything was delicious and worth the wait.

Ps need to call the restaurant to get free parking, there's a private and secure parking lot right across the restaurant, where you call and theybopen the gate for you“

Not only does it match our family’s preferences, but even when friends from afar come to visit, everyone praises the food here—especially the delicious dim sum. We had the fish dip, with lovely homemade tortillas which were delicious. We had a spring salad, the zucchini salad, bison carpaccio, and smoked salmon- everything was great. “I attended my first game of the season Dec 10th. The Canucks played and lost to the Minnesota Wild. The lobster roll was honestly my favorite thing about attending Canucks’ games. The lobster roll tasted good. The lobster meat was cooked well and the texture perfect. I admit it’s been a few years since I had season tickets. I renewed this year and told everyone the lobster roll was a can’t miss. The lobster roll held it’s own but the new kettle chips are a miss. Bring back Ms Vickies! “A pretty decent dim sum spot — not too fancy, but hits the spot! 🥢 The place isn’t big, yet the dim sum quality is quite good. Steamed dishes come out hot and fresh, with nice big portions, and the fried items are crispy and flavorful. The rice noodle rolls are super smooth and tasty — definitely my favorite! 😋

Only downside — the tea could be better. It’s a bit weak and lacks that classic aroma. Hope they can level up the “Drink Tea” to match the rest of the food. 💪✨“
