God bless this place. What a great concept and addition to main street eats. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Chowders are lovely and comforting. Today I got the po boy sandwich. It is so gooooood, and messy lol. To my surprise I found out that there was kimchi in it! What a great twist/ combination. Sandwich also came with some pickled cabbage. They take your order at the till, then when your food is ready they call your name. This place doesn't have much chairs or tables so just be aware. It's pretty much street food style, order and eat by the windows or outside. They always have fresh seafood coming in daily. They also prep sauces and soups as well to bring home to enjoy!“

“Blue water has very consistent quality of food, their sushi bar food are always fresh, I love the stamina roll, it is perfectly balanced with the crab meat, unagi and a little bit of smoked salmon slice inside of the roll. Their Sablefish is one of the best I ever had, it is refreshing and lightly seasoned. But you can still taste every bit of flavour from the miso and the fish.“

“My mom and I joined a tour group from Seattle to Banff national park and stopped here for dinner. The food that the tour group ate was wonderful and ate vegetarian fried rice, beef tendon in teriyaki sauce and others. The service was wonderful and that there were lots of people there.“

“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.“

“We had a fantastic dim sum experience about a year ago at a different location, which was helped by having a large group of 20—plenty of dishes to sample. This time, it was just the three of us, so we kept it light with six dishes. Unfortunately, the Thai-style chicken feet didn’t go over well with the family—the strong vinegar flavor and unusual texture were a far cry from the traditional braised and steamed version that’s typically tender and flavorful. That said, the rest of the dishes were enjoyable and tasted freshly made, which definitely elevated the overall quality.

Prices are noticeably higher than what we’re used to in Seattle, though we haven’t tried other spots in the area yet. That said, the portion sizes here are nearly double, which helps justify the cost. Service didn’t quite match the upscale feel of the restaurant, but we didn’t encounter any issues. And even without a reservation, we were seated right away.

“We live in North Shore and are regulars at Wooden Fish and this is our first time at Pho and Roll. Very impressed with their food and atmosphere. More upscale than Wooden Fish but both are excellent. We were worried about parking but had no issues finding a spot right away on a side street (lots of parking on the side streets and parking lots as well). We will return.“

“It was a Saturday night when I booked a birthday party dinner. Needed reservations because it was a busy place. Their food is mostly Cantonese style done well. Prices are on the higher side but I thought it was done well. Room was really loud maybe because there were 5 tables celebrating something. Staff was very involved with clapping and singing birthday songs for all the tables. I would definitely come back.“

“Went for dim sum and want to let you know that dim sum is only served at lunch. Fantastic food and service. Ordered things not on menu and easily accommodated. Even brought us scissors when they saw us struggling with knife. Highly recommend.“

The free 2hr parking below ground is really good. The place is overall fairly comfortable. They have nice high ceilings and it doesn’t feel too loud or crowded inside.“

“Visiting Vancouver, wanted a non-touristy but great local seafood spot. This place nailed it. Great service. Great food. Accommodated us getting in 2 hours earlier than our reservation. And we were in great hands with an attentive and knowledgeable waiter. Ate a fish from Greece (not exactly local) but it was still fantastic. As were the oysters/fries/brocollini/watermelon salad/spaghetti vognole/drinks.“

“Nice big spacious cafe by the roadside just right opposite Holiday Inn Broadway, with lots of chinese food choices. Portions are very big. “We read about Forage in line and decided to try it. What a great decision! The food was excellent. As the idea is sharing plates we selected a number of small plates. We had the fish dip, with lovely homemade tortillas which were delicious. We had a spring salad, the zucchini salad, bison carpaccio, and smoked salmon- everything was great. Washed down with a nice Shiraz - what more could you want? Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you to try.“

“I attended my first game of the season Dec 10th. The Canucks played and lost to the Minnesota Wild. The lobster roll was honestly my favorite thing about attending Canucks’ games. The lobster roll tasted good. The lobster meat was cooked well and the texture perfect. I admit it’s been a few years since I had season tickets. I renewed this year and told everyone the lobster roll was a can’t miss. The lobster roll held it’s own but the new kettle chips are a miss. Bring back Ms Vickies! The kettle chips were hard and tasteless.“

“Was so lovely! This is our go to date spot. Only complaints are we ordered 12 oysters and they gave us 10 and we had to say something. We also ordered a 40 dollar glass of wine and they didn't tell us anything about the wine. For a wine bar you'd think they'd have a back story and something fun to share with their coravin wines. “Came here twice. The siu mai was completely different and much better on the second visit. The rest were as good as the first visit. I didn't take a photo the second time, but you can see how pale the xiu mai looks in this photo. The portions are generous, the quality (questionable consistency on the siu mai) is pretty good for the price. Overall, because this is much closer to Richmond and the value is there, this will be my go-to dimsum until they raise their prices. Atmosphere is no where close to the usual dimsum spots I usually go to.“
