First off, the chef is incredibly down to earth and friendly. You can tell he’s truly passionate about what he does and it absolutely shows in his food. Hands down, this is the best chicken I’ve ever had. The flavors are amazing, everything is fresh and it’s all made to order.

I wish I had a photo to share, but the food is so good I never even get the chance to take one before digging in! This has quickly become a weekly lunch date for my husband and me and we look forward to it every time.”

“Final date night before flight home tomorrow. Sausage plate. The British bangers are super flavorful and juicy, goes great with the spicy mustard sauce! The bratwurst is perfect with the kraut and horseradish. The smoked bison is a bit on the dry and spicy side. Reminds me of a Slim Jim. I wish I tasted more bison, but it's still good. The herbed goat cheese and lavash bread is to die for! The herbs are perfectly balanced with the cheese and spreads so easily on the bread!All paired perfectly with Zin-phomaniac red wine!”

“We initially tried to come here on a Friday at 7 PM but there seemed to be a long wait so we decided to check it out on a Wednesday and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. This location was originally a Taco Bell, but I love the atmosphere there, friendly, good service and comforting food! It's a cozy place perfect for a cold wintry day to have your own little boiling hot pot of tasty broth and hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Hubby ordered the Lau Pork Bone Marrow and I had the Lau Oxtail. I ordered the Oxtail without the tripe, just more oxtail! The hot pot came out boiling with oxtail and beef balls. All I had to do was cook the egg noodles, taro, tofu, cabbage, veggies into the soup as there was plenty of delicious oxtail and meat balls in the delicious broth! Great for a bone chilling night! Next time I'd love to try the shaken beef!”

“Afternoon tea. Interesting experience. Recommend reservations. We went here recently (brother recommended this place). The place was quaint. We selected the tea for one. Each of us chose 2 sandwich flavors and a pot of tea. I got the flowering tea, it has a mild flowery taste and is visually pleasing. Sandwiches were an interesting experience. The coconut jam was surprisingly good. I personally got the meatfloss and the turkey with Brie and fig jam. The turkey was somewhat sweet. The scone was good too, along with the savory canapé. Dessert was good. I’ll have to come back again with my spouse and friends next time.”

“I can not express how impressed and blown away I was visiting Neptune’s today “on accident”. I was driving past neptunes today and we ran into car trouble right in front. We got out and pushed the car into the nearest parking lot which happened to be neptunes. We had just bought a used car in the neighborhood and was trying to make it home and the battery just died. We spent some time pulling out the battery and ran next door to the auto parts store to buy a new one. Out of the blue an employee walked us out some water and said “I saw you out here and it’s hot. Wanted to give you some water and ask if you needed help. “ blown away by his kindness I thanked him but we had it covered. Once we got the battery replaced I decided to get breakfast from Neptune’s to show my thanks for their hospitality. Wow was I blown away. The breakfast was amazing , the coffee on point and the hospitality was unmatched. I give 5 stars for all in. My youngest son said. That guy is a good man! And I agree if you’re looking for good service and great food. Stop here! You won’t regret it.”

Stopped by for Saturday lunch and tried the fried chicken with fried rice. Fried chicken came with a flaky breading. The fried rice was very tasty. The dish came with a little sweet chili dipping sauce for the fried chicken. Complimented the chicken nicely.

The brunch items looked pretty good. Next time, I may try the french toast.

They took such great care of us, fed us meals on three or four consecutive days, and we could not have asked for better service or food during an emotional time. Pastries (Koiugn Amann!), Monte Cristo, and the coffee bar were our favorites, but everything we had was delicious. We hope to be back for happier circumstances at some point, and definitely will return!”

I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.”

“Wow, I’m so glad we found this place!
I ordered a Matcha ice cream crepe and my friends got Berry Bliss — plus an ice cream float that I didn’t get a pic of. The cashier gave us plates and spoon and said “You’re going to need this for when the ice cream melts!” Which was pretty funny and unexpected. It saved us though, because that ice cream will melt and drip from the bottom of the crepe cone.

10/10 taste! We got here at around 8pm, so it wasn’t too busy. They also have a little photoshoot area with props and accessories.”

“The staffs were nice. We were greeted and offered seats right away.

What we ordered:
Seafood Pancake- It was pretty good, a bit thicker than other places and sauce was okay.

Donkatsu- The pork was good and portion was good for the price.

Pork Belly BBQ- It was a tab dry and a bit bland. Wasn’t my favorite.

Banchan- The plates are cute but made the portion of banchan very small. Banchan were good, we had to ask for extra.

Would come again if I’m in the area and try something different.”
