“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

The chefs are cooking the Udon noodles in huge Pots and their style is the subway way 🥪 but noodle style.
We got the traditional beef and beef curry 🍜 with Gyoza.
The Udon was tender and chewy and the broth was not too light but had enough richness to it tastes so good. The curry was good and not too spicy, with the meat just hit the spot.

“Always wondered about this restaurant as there's always a line outside the establishment. My wife and I were seated with our friend group pretty quickly, a nice perk to the staff that handed out menus to choose your order to improve efficiency.

I love that the ramen is very customizable, from the amount of salt, oil richness, ingredients mix, sauce, and even noodle style. (Thin/Thick) There's moderate seating inside, some for large groups, duos, and some wall seats as well. It definitely has the vibes for a ramen shop, lights are a bit dimmer inside which highlights the kitchen staff (open kitchen). working on orders.

My wife and I both ordered the Original King Ramen and shared some appetizer (Chicken Karaage) with our group.

Orders came out pretty quickly and the portions are pretty decent size, a bit deceiving I'd say for the size of the bowl you receive.

1. The ramen is very flavorful, can't go wrong with either thin or thick noodles. In my opinion, the chashu is a must because it mixes the broth flavor with the meat, creating the savory flavoring, super yummy. A little side note is that the ramen is priced nicely, however the extra add-ons can accumulate in total.

2. The Chicken Karaage is a classic must try, Japanese styled fried chicken, super crispy coating, very flavorful meat, and bite size. The karaage is marinated very well & comes with some lemons for that sweet flavor if preferred. Highly recommend.

Overall, Ramen Nagi has very delicious ramen and is very much affordable. Huge plus for the ramen being very customizable & even has chefs recommendations for first timers. Only downside is that the shop is not super big, and long lines but it moves moderately fast if you don't mind waiting a bit.“

Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. “First time patrons. Family of 4, husband and two teens. We did the AYCE and it was really good! All the rolls were fresh, generously proportioned. The only down side (very minor) is the drink selection. No fountain drinks, individual cans. When you have two teens....it can add up very quickly. “I absolutely LOVE AB Shabu (City of Industry)! Service is very friendly and charming, and the food is WONDERFUL. The location does look a bit old (i.e. faded paint, boxes in corner), but it's serious DELICIOUS food. This is a local, hidden gem.

Customers choose the meat (ex: angus beef ribeye, lamb, etc); customers select the soup base (ex: house base, spicy miso base, etc); and the fresh ingredients and bubbling, boiling soup arrives with fluffy steamed rice. There's even a sauce bar (ex: sesame sauce, satay sauce, etc) for customers.

WOW! My family and I had an AMAZING time. We tasted the Angus Beef Ribeye, Angus Beef Prime Short Rib, Pork Belly, Lamb, Fried Potato Shrimps, and Soft Shell Crab.) Dipping that fresh meat into that bubbling boiling broth, and chewing greedily on it with a scoop of fluffy rice was so GOOD! My personal favorite was the Angus Beef Prime Short Rib dipped in the Spicy Miso Soup Base (Mild). The Soft Shell Crab also tasted very clean and delicious.

As mentioned, Staff is a delight. During my dining experience, I only remember smiling faces. And staff is very hard working and diligent. I remember when the kind male host showed me the sauces and gave exemplary recommendations.

Ambiance is a weak part of this place, but this business is clean. It's not a flashy spot (ex: faded paint, boxes in corner), but there's sincere care. It's well-maintained. Customers sit at a table with a stove and fan vent on top. My family and I still felt comfortable throughout the experience.

Overall, AB Shabu (City of Industry) is absolutely delicious. I left with a full belly and a happy smile. I wholeheartedly recommend.“

“We always like to go to Picnic Time to get their Yubu. It's a small and cute cafe, but the ambiance is welcoming and comfortable. They also have a lot of new items on the menu. We ordered their seared salmon Yubu x 3, one Kimchi Yubu, one Lemon Ponzu Salmon Yubu, and one eel Yubu.
The food was fresh and delicious. The server was friendly.“

“Shwe Taung Rice Bowl and Burmese Restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Neither my wife nor I had ever eaten Burmese food, so we didn’t know what to expect. The restraint is small and hidden in a tiny strip mall. There is a small parking lot, but ample street parking.

Shwe Taung’s menu is extensive and full of exotic and enticing dishes. We ordered Coconut Chicken Khao Soi, Shan Noodles, and Mixed Tempura Fries. Each dish was wonderful. They all had unique mixtures of spices — flavorful but not too hot. Both noodle dishes were unlike anything we’ve ever encountered, and it will be difficult not to order the same things when we return. Still, the menu contains many other tempting choices.

The service was friendly and professional. Our waiter was extremely helpful to two Burmese food neophytes.

We will certainly return in the near future. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and try Shwe Taung.“

We ordered two (H4) orders of Chirashi, one (C12) una don (eel don), and I ordered (C13) the Chilean Seabass. The owners were very friendly. As we spoke with them casually, the lady knew it was my birthday yesterday. She said they would serve me a complimentary cake as dessert later. The Chirashi bowl had tuna (2), salmon (2), shrimp (1), white fish (1), yellow tail (1), albacore (1), uni (1), smelt egg (1), tamago (1), & salmon egg. The portions were good, and the fish was so fresh and delicious. My hubby and older daughter liked their Chirashi bowls. For the una don (eel served over the rice), my younger daughter also liked it so much. I liked my Chilean Seabass. It was served with salad and miso soup. The Chilean Seabass was fresh and flavorful with a tangy, sweet flavor. They provided a piece of lemon wedge, so I squeezed some lemon juice on it before eating. Then the owner brought us the Japanese Yuzu cheesecake. I was surprised that the owner gave our entire party slices of complimentary cake, rather than just one for the birthday person; mine even came with a candle. It was very generous of them. The Yuzu cheesecake was very delicious. The service was great, and they were very friendly.“
