“Good selection of healthy foods. Their beef is so tender . Fried rice is to die for. The chef Heli is so professional, very precise and amiable. Our waitresses/server , Maya, was so pleasant and attentive to guests . Next time I go back I have to try their seafood selections. My only complaint is the location . It should be out there along Stevens Creek like in Santana Row rather than hidden in that dark corner of the complex. But definitely I will recommend it to my friends.“

“This sushi spot is down the street from my house and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Granted I usually come in for lunch and order a bento box. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki, veggie tempura and California rolls. Their Chile. Matsu was good but I prefer the teriyaki. Their miso soup is tasty.

Restaurant is typical sushi restaurant size. They may accommodate larger parties with notice. The art on the wall is movies, action figures, and things of that nature

I haven't tried too much outside of that so I will have to order more when I go next time. I want to order specialty rolls. Will update the review after the fact.“

“First time after a referral and it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was clean and modern. The staff were so nice and came by multiple times to check on us. They are so friendly and friendly that they remind me of my parents. There are so many menus that I ordered several and tried this and that, all of which were successful. This is a nice spot to come and enjoy some fresh rolls and drinks with your family or friends. Just be careful when parking or leaving. Since it’s a small parking lot. Its definitely a tight squeeze. Make sure to order yourself a mocktail and some appetizers while you’re waiting for your rolls, sashimi or your main dish. I suggest order some takoyaki. All in all its a decent place thats not overpriced.“

If you're looking for an Instagram worthy dish that's both delicious and worth paying for, get the Omakase Box! It's $55, but worth it. Each chef's choice was well selected and super fresh. This place also has a huge selection of special rolls if that's more your style. The fish portions are big and they don't use too much rice like some other places. There are also Udon and Teriyaki dishes to choose from for those who aren't big on seafood.

“Our family has been to Sumo many times because it's a family favorite. Our kids love the kids meals (rice, miso soup, and salmon or chicken teriyaki) and the sushi train, where we usually pick a few rolls and mochi for dessert. We love the variety of the menu and freshness of the food most of the time. Depending on the day, the texture of the rice can be improved and sometimes the offerings on the sushi train are limited, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. The restaurant is full of regulars that the staff remembers. A few favorites from the menu include the tempura ramen, all of the rolls, the agedashi tofu and the mochi ice cream. Highly recommended as a family friendly establishment that serves above average food, a quiet and fun ambiance, and great service.“
