“Decent place for a healthier meal that leans into the fast food genre. The food was tasty although I felt the portions were small. Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very cafeteria like and bare. Definitely a place to go eat and leave, no reason to stick around.“
“Have been wanting to try this for so long. Finally made my way here. Exceeded my expectations. I love all types of asian food. Fusion is generally hard to do well. Elevated fusion is even harder. Everything was really unique and delicious.“
“Seven Hills opens their kitchen and welcomes you into their home. The truffle pasta is what my boyfriend and I come back for every single time. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and the food is made so fresh. Truly incredible tasty date night spot — book ahead of time for sure as it does get busy. The polpette is a must try as well, the sauce is incredible“
“The seafood chaate soup with French bread is really delicious. Both the soup and the bread are delicious./The set of 6 small oysters was paired with sauce, which was sweet and delicious, and the fishy smell was removed. However, not long after the meal, my stomach kept churning a bit, and my companions had diarrhea afterwards?/The creamy mussel spiral pasta is quite surprising at first, but the more you eat it, the more salty it becomes, but it is still delicious./The overall price is a bit expensive, but the food experience is very good, and it is cozy with the scenic bridge outside.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Scoma's on Saturday! Even tho it wasn't perfect weather, we made the trip to SF and had such fun! Our bartender Steven was wonderful, and he is the epitome of good service. Please go visit, you will not be disappointed. I had the butternut squash risotto and 4 jumbo prawns! YUM! My hubby had the wagryu burger, so delicious and juicy!“
“The hype is real. It's cash-only, so bring plenty of cash. The servers both take orders and prepare them. Make sure to arrive early to avoid long lines. I went around 9 am and didn't have to wait. I ordered the Dungeness crab, half dozen oysters, and small Sicilian sashimi. The Dungeness crab is served cold (though I thought it would be warm for some reason), but everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. I would return to SF just to come back here.“
“The service was pretty good. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and helped us make all our decisions for the evening. The food (mostly) came out in a timely manor and was quite good. The trout gravlax was the best dish of the night. The trout was tender and the accompaniments bright and zesty. The ambiance was a little intimate but nice. The music selection was eclectic and enjoyable. Vanilla Tamarind sundae was good and mainly the reason we came by. I would've liked more roasty flavors and it was dominated by the ice cream. Worth the try but wouldn't get it again. Would recommend it to friends and family and would go back.“
“We were running a bit late but the owner was super accommodating and understanding and still accepted our reservation. On top of that the Staff are extremely friendly! Then we get to the food! It was phenomenal! We ordered several items and all were excellent! I have to say the Oysters were delicious but don't sleep on the fish-n-chips or the Crab sandwich!! All great!!“
“Ralph Waldo Emerson says “ Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.” But for restaurants like Abrazo consistency of excellent service, food and overall ambience are the good standard. And Mike and his team deliver every time. We were four on a cool February evening. We were welcomed like old friends, food and service was fabulous. Emerson had it wrong and Abrazo has it right.“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“I've been to John's Grill a few times, including with several delegations. The restaurant has a nice traditional atmosphere, good and fast service and usually good steaks. Now I had a filet mignon where part of the steak was stringy and impossible to cut - let alone chew! It was also raw rather than cooked medium as ordered. It's a shame, given the high price.“
“Great experience, all around. Interesting decor, creative dishes with unexpected ingredients, attentive staff, and fun wines. My party had a little delay being fully seated (because we ordered the tasting menu, and a larger table was needed to fit all the dishes), but they graciously made that right by seating us in an interim area, providing a free round of cocktails & a nice carrot dish to nosh on while we waited. That was classy. The radicchio dish is really stellar. Also particularly enjoyed the kingfish sashimi and scallops. Everything else was very tasty as well.“
“I sat outside, saw the Halibut special on the little pop up sign they put out… was delicious, well prepared and the temperature of the fish was just right… barely cooked all the way through, steaming while I ate, but tender and watery… the veggies and potatoes accompanying were simple yet delicious. Great flavors, will stop in again.“
“To start off, I’ve never had Haitian food and didn’t know what to expect. After going to T’Chaka for lunch, I’m pleasantly surprised. Glad that I got a taste of Haiti. Food, service, ambiance, and decor is amazing.T’Chaka is located next to Swan’s Market in Old Oakland. Outside - there’s a colorful bright yellow sign with potted palm plants so place is hard to miss.Server was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating.Decor and ambiance - very colorful and vibrant. Haitian flag stood out to me. A lot going on with the paintings, fish tank, vases, wall fixtures, etc. Definitely feels like you’re walking into a local mom and pop restaurant that will serve authentic cuisine. A bit pricey - around $20 for each entree but the quality and time spent makes it worth.Unfortunately, I am pescatarian so I was unable to try the Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, or Griot. What a tragedy. But my co-worker said Oxtails were flavorful and delicious, went well with the fixings. She finished the whole plate and cleaned the bones off!Shrimp salad itself was flavorful - with passionfruit dressing. They also did not skimp on the shrimp - HUGE PLUS. As exotic as the dish sounds, the flavors went well together. Shrimp was well seasoned with a tangy, sweet, yet savory flavor. The passionfruit dressing itself was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Nice palette of flavors, definitely Caribbean-esque.Cocktails and dinner: I would especially recommend coming for their dinner menu or Saturday special and drinks. Cocktails looked very intriguing and would go well with menu offerings.I would definitely recommend this place. Haitian food is super underrated! Take advantage of going during Restaurant Week!“
“I'm sad to hear this place has closed. I've gone to this place a good handful of times. The food was out of this world. The waitstaff was amazing. So much energy, genuinely wanted their patrons to enjoy their meal, and experience. I hope you pass your recipes onto someone else. People should experience what I have.“
“Atwater tavern is the go to spot of Mission Bay! Warriors game ✅ Giants Game ✅ Special Events ✅ Great Drinks, Nice sized portions.Cheeseburger, Chicken Wings, Steak & Shrimp, Flatbread Pizzas all things to try at this place.Parking: Atwater has free and paid spacesKid-friendliness: Yes plenty of kid options availableWheelchair accessibility: Accessible and available. Always suggested to call ahead for guaranteed comfort“
“We had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner here. From the minute we walked in, we were so warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. The space is absolutely gorgeous! We had asked for bar seating and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the very talented bartender do his work all the while providing top-notch service while serving us our meal.Everything we chose from the mènu was seafood based ( there are a few vegetarian options) and I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed the creative uses of the different seafood items. From sardines, to skate cheeks to back cod to scallops, it was all delightful.“
“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“
“Food: good flavor, the noodles we got, kat see something was good, but nothing special I would say like a 3 star dish. Still prefer regular pad Thai. The tofu curry was a 2 star dish not very good. The lemongrass soup was our favorite of the night and the beef skewers were solid Service is like 2 stars nothing special, no checking in on the table or niceties, not even water refills Ambiance is nice we just had to sit right next to the door so the outside air would coming rushing in Overall I'm glad I tried Cambodian food, it was filling, but I wouldn't return“
“Best oysters I’ve had since ones at a Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen. Their homemade Serrano garlic hot sauce makes me never want any others on an oyster. The hot oyster selections were an equally as great choice, with the miso bone marrow reigning on top, but this place got my pescatarian girlfriend to try the Panchetta leaning hot oyster choice. The char the cauliflower makes me feel insecure in my own veggie or even meat searing abilities as they’ve achieved a perfect char. The halibut crudo was delicious but I do feel it lacked a bit of acid or citrus to really elevate it to what I expected. On top of the food the drinks were phenomenal, the white wine spritz tasted like the worlds best vanilla sprite or a creamsicle drink better than anything you could imagine, shoutout to our waiter for recommending The yuzu lavender drink was also an all star and was refreshing while sweet and danced over own tongues. The orange wine was also stunning an entry level close to a resiling that taught me orange wine is worth a shot.“
“We were seated immediately just as Happy Hour started. We ordered the burger & fries on the happy hour menu. The juicy burgers were as we requested (medium well), and the garlic fries were delicious as well. The crabchowder was very good and made it a meal with the goat cheese & beet salad. Friendly and attentive service!“
“This restaurant feels like it exists somewhere in between what could be a local haunt and a tourist trap. It has a versatile yet contained menu that has a little bit of something for everyone. The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. They even had an extra kale salad made by accident and brought it over complimentary as we waited for the last of our party to arrive. A+“
“My family comes here religiously because it's always delicious and the service is great. Lobster gao and XLBs are a go-to, but honestly have probably had only one thing that was something I wouldn't order again. Cocktails are also amazing.“
“The soup that appeared in bread, the soup with a lot of crab meat, was an amazing experience. It was delicious. The salmon dish was superb, and the seafood dish that made the crab meat look like a round snack, which created a cute feeling, could not be better. I was so full that I thought it was going to explode. There was a reason why people were flocking.“
“Top Chinese restaurant in Bay AreaEverything about it leads to it having incredible food. Love that the family is there, love that it’s served now in Togo containers, because we are always going to take the leftovers to go.The food though hella good. We ordered vegi chicken sweet and sour, broccoli with vegi beef and chow fun with vegetables, oh and white rice. My gf is vegan so we came here for the vegan options, and it was basically like meat so for me it was amazing. And they have seafood here which I’ll definitely order honey walnut shrimp next time. We had enough leftover for a solid meal the next day. It’s a quality place“
“A must-have, not just for “Kitchen Impossible” fans! Super tasty Cioppino! Small restaurant, but the atmosphere is great and you immediately feel at home. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but the pager principle works well and the wait is worth it!“
“Honestly the best Italian place we’ve been in SF. We were looking for somewhere close so we decided to give it a shot and the service was amazing. I’ve never had such kind welcoming people at a restaurant. The food was also amazing and so quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an Italian place.“
“This is the place we picked for lunch on our trip to San Francisco..not disappointed, exactly the opposite..extremely satisfied with food, service and style of restaurant..hope to visit there again if only to eat at this amazing place...people super nice “
“My wife and I ate here for her birthday and it was a fantastic choice. We had the bone marrow, escargot, and croquettes to start. She had the flounder and I ate the Quail Pie. Everything was fantastic and I was very satisfied with my choice of the Quail Pie. Service was great and my wife enjoyed it immensely.“
“delicious seafood, salads and probably the best old fashioned I've ever had.fantastic service and a great location.atmosphere is very upscale which isn't my thing but it's not oppressive and I didn't feel too out of place for not pulling up in a Porsche.“
“Everything was impeccable! We enjoyed every last part of our meal. We had an amazing server called Luis and equally helpful Gaucho called Nelson. They were both very attentive and made sure we had meet on time to fill our carnivorous appetite! Come hungry leave rolling. Drinks are also strong and worth it! For $10 you’ll definitely feel the buzz! We came to celebrate, and were greeted by a beautiful dessert as well! Come and enjoy a Brazilian banquet!“
“Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Price: 4/5Atmosphere: 5/5 This is still one of my absolute favorite spots in Berkeley. The food is always consistently delicious and the service is great. The ambiance is relaxing and chill. The prices are a bit higher than most restaurants, but the quality of the food is worth it in my opinion.“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting family at CPMC. I enjoy finding different cuisines when in SF and Piroo was a great find. While they don’t have an extensive menu, they have more than enough options to suit any tastes. I had the pork jhol momo and it was great. Just the right amount of savory and spice to make it memorable. They also serve beer and wine to round out your meal.“
“This is a gem in North Beach. I knew the Owner from back in the 1980's when we both worked at North Beach Restaurant. This is also the old Spaghetti Factory restaurant in North Beach - an iconic place. I think it has the best Italian food in North Beach - and I know good Italian food. You can also order food off the menu from the incredible Persian restaurant in front. It is an incredible space and dining experience with an outdoor courtyard. I love Moe and what he has created in this great old space. Also, they grind all their own beef for burgers, etc and they have the best wings in San Francisco - bar none - and it is Mary's chicken!“
“Great place too get dinner and drinks for two. I got the easy money cocktail which was lovely and minty. My husband had the mai Thai. We both had the green goddess salad and shared the barata. They were both delicious but the green godess salad had a bit more feta than we expected. Both very good, but a little too much dairy when combined. I had the fish and chips as the main and he had the lobster both. We both liked our choices a lot. He used the chocolate mousse for dessert and gave me a bite which was delicious. I had a bubble bath cocktail for my dessert which was a nice way to finish things of with a lovely lavender fizziness.“
“Sashimi platter was delicious. So fresh. Tuna, Salmon and Hamachi. Nigiri was very good - mackerel, unagi and salmon. We liked the sunshine roll we just didn't like the house sauce. Seaweed salad and miso soup were also very good. Waitress was attentive and nice and very pleasant. Highly recommend. Visiting from Denver. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in town.“
“The dinner prix fixe was stellar. Each dish was special and interesting, and balanced. The care that the staff gave us was personal and thoughtful, and they tailored to our dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. Just share with your server!“
“my first time at Luke’s & having a Lobster roll with my wife. Mary the server was super friendly and very patient and she recommended we try the lobster flight for our first time. it was super fresh and the butters are hella good. extra points to the spicy honey tho. extremly good service from her a lot of seating and a nice atmosphere will definitely be back for more“
“I got the 333 combo with three fried oysters, three fried shrimp, and three pieces of fried catfish. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY! Moist and tender meat with a crispy crust. Absolutely classic. The combo was a lot of food! It came with Louisiana style hot sauce, tartar sauce, and ketchup, as well as plenty of fries.Service was cheerful and very friendly. There isn't any seating, so it's really take-out only. The one minor criticism I have is that the fries were pretty mediocre, but they really aren't the main attraction here anyway.“
“Absolutely Divine! Each 'bite' is it's own expression of flavor and talent. They have a lot to be proud of. I tried things I would have never tried on my own. Albeit now, I doubt others will live up to the new expectations!I will say, having read the other reviews here, they should try a few newer things, as it seems they've been doing the same set for 5+ years, making repeat visits bland in terms of originality.Parking: Valet parking.“
“Had the uni pasta, made with squid ink pasta. This dish was better than I expected. The density of the noodles was what I expected for squid ink noodles and the uni sauce was a great addition. I wish it had a bit stronger of an uni taste, but this dish was still delightful.“
“Casa Orinda is GREAT! But watch out for this app, Open Table, Casa had us down for 6:45pm but I put reservation in for 8:15pm. Casa took care of it immediately and got us a very nice table by the fire. I told Casa I'll just call. Was trying something new for reservation.“
“Such a hidden gem - One of the best Thai restraunts Iv'e had in the Bay Area! They have a main menu that mostly contains the more standard Thai dishes that might see at a lot of other places. But they also have a hidden menu with some really unique Thai dishes that I haven't seen very often here but had when I visited Thailand and this brought back tons of memories! For the 2 of us, we got the fresh raw shrimp appetizer, papaya salad with blue crab, crab omlette, and stir fried morning glory. All the dishes were yum, but the first 2 were quite spciy! Servers are also super friendly and price is very reasonable for SF especially considering its location in the Marina. Highly recommend!“
“Visited this restaurant for the 1st time and I’m glad we did! We wanted to get carnes en su jugo but didn’t know where to go. Searched in google, found this place and decided to give it a try. The restaurant from outside looks like a fast food restaurant but is not. Customer service is outstanding, the food is delicious, definitely tasted like authentic Mexican food. They also have handmade tortillas!I do recommend this place!Quesabirrias and carnes en su jugo are delicious, Guadalajara style!“
“The food is always delicious. The service was, unfortunately, subpar. The waitress was not attentive. While we waited for our beverages, etc, she was chatting with her colleagues; we had to ask another staff member to get our drinks that had been sitting at the bar.“
“Husband and I had dinner here, was seated according reservation, very polite and professional staff. food was delicious, husband had petite Filet Mignon, I ordered the special Bone in filet. Both were juicy and full of flavor. It was cooked according to preference, we both loved it. had some sides, creamy spinach and portabella mushrooms, perfect. with the steaks, enjoyed the garlic fries and bread with old fashions to start. We ended with dessert and coffee. would highly recommend for birthday, date night, or just because you want to enjoy a amazing steak. We ate here for the first time when it opened way back in early 2000's and it hasn't disappointed us at all. very consistent to who they are and what they serve. luv it!“
“Visited here a few times on my last visit to San Francisco. Fantastic place with friendly Staff and a lovely waterfront view. The food is amazing as well, particularly the BBQ chicken wings which were absolutely lush! Definitely recommend and will be back on my next visit!“
“I had the garlic roasted whole dungeonesse crab. It was kind of spur of the moment and I wasn’t really planning to be covered in butter, but it was very good crab. It was cooked perfectly, so the meat didn’t stick to the shell and the shells were nice and crisp so they cracked easily. The potatoes were potatoes lol.“
“Low-key best Nepalese restaurant in the East Bay. Excellent meat and veg entrees, very reasonable prices, even in 2023. They have a great thali dinner selection, when thalis (or any combo really) are becoming an endangered species around here.“
