“I recently hosted my birthday party here, and my friends and I had an incredible time. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the venue itself was stunning. The owner, Michael, was extremely accommodating in handling our large group of 35. He patiently answered all my questions in the weeks leading up to the event and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event!“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“Love this place! The food is very authentic and high quality meat. The servers are also very tentative. We ordered the small beef combo. The soup at the end is very tasty but we are way too full. It can serve at least 3-4 ppl. Def recommended!“

“There were a lot of reviews saying the service was bad, expensive, etc., so I was wondering whether to come or not, but when I came, I tried the meat and it was delicious.
It's not expensive, the soybean paste stew and steamed egg are very delicious, and the cold noodles are highly recommended!! ?“

“Hanu BBQ is fantastic. I've been here three times and each time the food is great. They take reservations for large groups and there's a karaoke place right next door, for an easy night out. There are cute little robots that bring you your food too.
Nina and Mark were both amazing- very attentive and even taught us how to make somaek. Would definitely recommend this place as a great option for a group outing.“

“全世界最好喝的牛骨湯!拜託一定要嘗試,大火久燉絕不馬虎!太喜歡了!
The best soup ever! And the rice is really good as we’ll even take-out. My friend said their kimchi is authentic and surprisingly delicious(I don’t eat kimchi so.)The staffs there are welcoming. There are only sells the beef bone soup, after you tried you’ll know why. Because they just want to make a product the best, but they do it! Even though i don’t have soup often, this time i finished it all. It’s really worth visiting again!“

“Tl;Dr: Kid friendly and delicious food (kid approved!). This may be our new spot now - jinsol is good but we've gone too many times and it feels a bit too heavy (we always feel thirsty/bloated after eating there). The combination of naengmyeon + gukbap here helps cut the heaviness.
Waiter was sooooo nice to our toddler. He brought out flashing toys and a hand fan for him and gave us an extra white rice on the house since we said he would eat that over purple (he recommended the purple rice for us). Our son ate so much of the galbi tang with cabbage. We enjoyed it a lot too, but maybe we enjoyed it even more because he ate so well. The naengmyeon was also delicious. Overall a great experience. we will definitely be back.“

“I used to eat here for lunch at least once a week with my several co-workers and we loved it. Then due to our office relocation and other events, I have stopped coming until several days ago after more than 8 years, and the foods here are still outstanding as well as the services. Definitely will come back more often going forward with my family.“

“The best AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Meat quality is top-notch. They grill the meat for you but still allow you to enjoy the food at your own speed. I tried almost every meat and my favorite is the marinated beef rib with bone. It melted in my mouth. I love it and will come back.👍🏻“

“Came w three and ordered one serving of bulgogi beef and shared 2 orders of the cold noodle dongcheeme . Bulgogi was flavorful and juicy on the kbbq grill , side dishes were really good , the green onion salad was fresh, and the cold noodles broth was so refreshing on a hot la day. Service was decent . I will come back here just for the bulgogi (very generous portion) and the noodle soup“

“In winter, it’s loach stew! I came here to eat loach stew, which was plentiful and good for body health. I come here every year before winter to eat it, and the ladies and uncles were all friendly and the service was good! Eating it with neat side dishes and neat kimchi is the icing on the cake, and it's great for warming up in cold LA :) Instead of loach stew, I personally recommend loach bulgogi :)“

“Don't come to JunTong expecting something fancy. Instead, it is a casual restaurant which serves up comfort food like pork rib noodle soup (galbitang). The flavor of the soup is very balanced and tasty. I also liked the kimchi and the radish appetizers; they were high quality.
Location is hard to find parking, but anyone can take the bus!“

“We ate inside at the counter and tried a little bit of a few things off the menu. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fried chicken dumplings were delicious. 😋🍴 We also tried the bulgogi and spicy chicken bowl and both were so delicious. As a side note, the man that waited on us (not sure if it was the owner or not) was very nice and hospitable. ☺️“

“The short: known for their bossam. Hidden gem for their cold noodles and (for the adventurous) stinky fermented soy bean paste soup! Expect curt but diligent service designed for Koreans not American style customer service
As a kid this was my favorite place for bossam. My friends and family all still love it so would highly recommend.
As a vegetarian now, would highly recommend their 절반 국수 (jangban guksu aka cold noodles) and 청국장 (cheonguk jjang aka fermented soybean paste soup). Today was my first time back since being a kid and it's my new fave.
Noodle dish is refreshing with lots of fresh veggies mixed with a spicy + soy sauce. If you like bibimguksu it's in that lane of freshing noodles but much less spicy.
The cheonguk jjang is an acquired taste and not for everyone. If you like stinky, fermented soy beans that are super healthy with probiotics for your gut plus delicious like Japanese natto you will love this like I do.
Service is average like Korean restaurants. They are to the point and don't mess around with niceties or coming to check on you. Push your button and they promptly arrive to bring whatever you need. Some love this kind of service. Others find it rude. Just set expectations.“

“Absolutely enjoyed this restaurant. Every time I have come it has been slow. However they do get a good amount of pick up orders.
Delicious Mandu or dumplings. I ordered shrimp and sweet pork mandu. They were pan fried and so good. I’ve also had their kimchi mandu. You get some yellow pickled daikon and a container of water, but they also offer soft drinks.
Some of their tables are really cute. They have butterflies. They have a central communal table and some booths as well.
Usually they play really good K-pop but since there aren’t usually many customers eating in they really don’t have much to offer if you’re looking for great ambiance.
Meter parking and parking in a structure available. The structure is underneath the shopping center.“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic, locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“This place is known for their galbi jjeem and I should have tried it. But (a) the portions are huuuge, as in for more than 1 person, maybe up to 4 people, and (b) at $100 it is expensive. I should return with a large group so we can order and share it. There is an option for cheese which the waiter will use a torch at the table to melt and toast it. I've never had galbi jjeem with cheese. Maybe it tastes like a cheeseburger? I'd be willing to try is there was an option to have it on the side, vs fully committing by covering everything with it.
So for this visit I had the sollung tang with tendon. It hit the spot, very creamy and flavorful, and the tendon was soft & tender. I would definitely return for this alone.“

“Drunken chicken by lemon fish is a great sushi restaurant located in Hollywood. What makes them special is that they also have additional Pocha items like these McDonald’s like fries so you know they’re great for weekend dinners. My favorite roll is their citrus salmon. It comes with shrimp tempura, salmon on top and a sliced lemon for freshness. Come out for great food and super fun vibes and If you’re not into sushi then you have to try their fried chicken. Their soy garlic is so full of flavor and the chicken is juicy, meaty, and crispy.“
