“I ordered this place many many times. One time I also noticed the “suspicious” fried tofu with black dots on them. I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. Thanks for improving and maintaining a good quality!“

“Party of 6 went for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday in December. The restaurant is very spacious, with multiple rooms, and we were able to find a large booth pretty easily. In true Olive Garden fashion, we were given an endless supply of warm breadsticks with creamy alfredo sauce, and I am sure I had 4 of them after my 10k run earlier. Some of us had the salad, others soup, and again, we were given a huge bowl of salad which was refilled once as well. It was pretty delicious. I had the spaghetti and meatballs entree, which was very good in both quantity and quality as well. Our server was very friendly, and kept inquiring repeatedly if we needed anything. Great experience, and before tips, it came to around 25 bucks per person, including some iced teas that some folks got.“

“This place is one of the top and best Korean restaurants in the country and we've been to many, from east to west coast, and all over Korea. Amazing food, great service, very good environment. Japchae was delicious, love thinner noodles they use. Marinated galbee (short ribs) to die for, top quality meat: Beef tongue was excellent. Great portion sizes for price and quality is top notch. Best korean food restaurant hands down from quality of food to service and ambience.“

“My friend brought me to this place and I was excited to try. I ordered the tonkatsu and rice cake/dumpling soup. Not gonna lie, my expectations were shattered. I can't go back to my usual spot to enjoy the soup and tonkatsu anymore. Soup was so flavorful and tasty, the dumpling was massive, the tonkatsu is enormous. For the price, it was worth it. Would come back here again.“

“Always delicious and even at lunch you can order the dinner special (if you pay more of course). Unlike others where you have to wait until a certain time…! 😊
My fav shabu shabu place which says a lot. Stackers are included in both lunch and dinner options and always delicious 😋“

“Staff were very welcoming with us and checked in frequently to make sure we had water and banchan. We got the pork and chives mandu and the original Yuk Gae Jang with glass noodle / ramyeon. Would happily come back to this restaurant chain and location next time we visit “

“Really really busy (but you should expect it at an Asian restaurant)
Location: plaza with Zion Market.
We were sat down quickly.
Ordered a mixed tofu soup and galbi combo as well as a hot stone bimbimbap.
Ban chan was bean sprouts, mung bean jelly, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and dried anchovy.
Tofu came with a small fried croaker, hot stone rice, and a raw egg. Tofu was absolutely delicious.
It was very busy but we got served about a moderate pace. Enjoyed everything, definitely would visit again.“

“I Love George's food. His Pad Thai is awesome. The Drunken Noodles are also delicious. His location is inside a "Ghost Kitchen" facility called "Smart Kitchens". It's a hidden gem. He used to have a brick and mortar location on bristol street, before the pandemic started.Customer beware. Its all takeout at this location. You can find this food on most popular 3rd party delivery apps. You can do pickup via his website too. Thats where he shines the most.If you go into the "ghost kitchen" as a walk-in order, you can place orders via the KIOSK inside. Wait times may vary during peak hours. I hope this information is helpful to the readers that took the time to read this comment.“

“Their specialty dishes are: 1. Sullungtang: taste amazing and very light. A good meal for winter/ 2. Cold noodle: the best I've tried so far, especially when you get a combo with spicy pork or bulgogi 3. Meat: spicy pork/bulgogi was homemade and were not like other korean restaurants. Taste very delicious!“

“Super solid cold noodle spot inside a food court. The bowl was big and really hit the spot.
Mul Naengmyeon: Get
This was so refreshing and flavorful. Broth was ice cold, the noodles had a nice chew, and the whole thing just felt super satisfying. Great combo of savory and tangy flavors. Perfect on a hot day or if you just want something light but still filling.
Nothing fancy here, just good food. It’s in a food court so don’t expect much on service or atmosphere, but for what it is, it’s great.
Food: 9/10
Value: 8/10“

The well-balanced spice level and generous portion sizes make it a comforting and hearty meal. The complimentary side dishes, including perfectly fermented kimchi and crisp pickled radish, enhance the dining experience. With a cozy atmosphere and attentive service, this restaurant is a great spot for anyone craving a warm and delicious bowl of sundubu-jjigae. Highly recommended!

“This establishment is known for it's excellent Asian cuisine, but horrible customer service. Some of us have chosen to endure it since the loss of Sam Woo. However, I think I've found the key to being treated, at least, decently. I took it upon myself to engage the aloof, borderline rude server. I asked his name, was very pleasant with him and asked his opinion regarding a couple of dishes, even though I was quite familiar with them. He offered advice. We engaged in a conversation. Then I said the magic words, "You know you have the BEST Chinese food in Irvine, right?" It was smooth sailing from there. While being ultra friendly is not a part of their server DNA, stroking the product ego didn't hurt. The best meal I've had there in 3 years.“

“Great authentic Hunan cuisine. Great value for price! Service is good too. Water was topped up before I asked - drank a few glass because the hotness of some dishes. We were asked by the waitress if food and everything else was good. Happy to leave them a good tip. Will definitely go again when in the area!“
