“I was looking for something healthy before my flight and found this place conveniently located near the gate with plenty of available seating. I enjoyed a veggie wrap and mimosa which hit the spot. The ambiance included cheerful workers and birds flying in the open door in search of crumbs. The best part of my visit was the service I received from Michael. I appreciated his helpful demeanor and attentiveness. Full disclosure, I have 2 sons named Michael so I may have been a bit biased. Nonetheless I recommend this place for anyone in search of a quick bite with a nice mimosa before hitting the skies.“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

The Caesar salad is hands down one of the best I have ever had. Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor and loads of parm. The bread is incredible and their homemade pasta is the real standout though. They know flavor!! I am Italian, live in Italy as well and these guys are killing it here!

“This place is a GEM. I feel like I’m in an indie film every time i visit this place. This place is so freaking cool. It has all the great classics for music and friendly locals and bartender/server. Very eclectic, warm and overall relaxing.

This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in Long Beach. It doesn’t get any better than this place. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and they’re all bangers. I have brought multiple people here and they love it just as much! I just haven’t had their pizza and desserts here yet but i wouldn’t be surprised if that was good too. This place is ALL about the bread. Any sandwich you get, you’re going to be invited to the most delicious holding vessel your mouth has ever experienced. The quality of the meats are really good and the balance between them are spectacular. My favorite sandwich so far is the Track Suit. Warm, savory, cheesy, soft, crunchy deliciousness! And that pickled cherry pepper is EPIC. I want one right now! Can’t wait to come back and try more items.

Do yourself a favor and choose your own adventure here. From sitting inside or outside, it is always cool and nice ambiance; and you can always take it to go, the beach is down the street! They also have a deli shop where you can get cheap booze and cocktails in a can! I have also found new soft drinks that are now my favorite here.

“So glad this new spot is in Long Beach. The coffee (cold brew and cortados) are exceptional, and my wife was pumped on the selection of wine. I regularly drop i for a coffee and to get a little work done on my laptop.“

We went with another couple and shared the gnocco fritto (which was a hit), meatballs, two pizzas (Diavola with burrata and Caserta), the tagliatelle verdi al pesto, and fritelle di Frankie.
