“Kappo Miyabi is a hidden gem. I work at a nearby hotel and I'm always happy to recommend this restaurant to our guests for an authentic Japanese meal. The menu has a great selection and the fish is super fresh. If you are looking for a lowkey, neighborhood feel and want to support a mom and pop that really cares, you should definitely check this place out.“

“I got the oyakodon set and it was such an elaborate meal, I felt like a queen. The oyakodon was so comforting and I really enjoy the fresh fish and tofu/beef sides!! I was also in a rush but the servers were kind enough to get me in and out in a jiffy :) Will be back!!“

Chichen Itza is a small, but confident showcase. There is consistent high quality to the food, which is artfully prepared and served. The dishes include delicacies such as: Cochinita Pibil, Poc Chuc, Relleno Negro, Agua de Chaya, and others. Humble, basic ingredients from the earth and sea, crafted into dishes possessing impeccable flavor and soul.
For those wary of high scoville numbers, the heat is restrained, but you can lay it on too and enjoy the wonderful flavor that can be harnessed from the Habanero.
As it is within a food court, and there is the intensely popular Holbox next door, the smell of ceviche and other uncooked seafood can be present. Finding seating can be challenging as well. Do not let this keep you from going.
Park on the street, and ignore the line out the door for Holbox. The food, and the people of Chichen Itza are worth every effort to come enjoy.“

“Dude absolutely freaking delicious. This is my 3rd time coming to this place. And every time I come, I am craving the cocktail with shrimp and octopus. It taste so fresh and so home made.
The place is always crowed with people ordering. It's a small establishment, but very well organized, super clean and with air conditioning on which keeps it cool inside. Next time, I am going to try the shrimp tacos, as many order them.“

“The stars aligned. We were overjoyed to find a BOB vegan restaurant, inspired by grandcestor Dr. Sebi's alkaline nutritional guide. Highly recommend Beyond Vegan - Culver City. The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“Really enjoyed the dishes, ordered a broken rice plate (amazing), vermicelli, pho, spring rolls, Vietnamese coffee and flan (awesome). Everything was delicious, I would say the spring rolls were sort of bland so they should enhance those somehow. Other than that I'd eat there again and the staff were delightful!!!!“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“I’ve been on the hunt for a great Thai spot since my favorite restaurant closed a few years ago, and I think I’ve finally found it! This was our first time ordering, and we were so impressed. The food was securely packaged for takeout, and both my wife’s meal and mine were absolutely delicious. To top it off, the person at the front was incredibly welcoming and cordial. “I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. Yes, it may look like a hole in the wall, but if you want the kind of Chinese food that satisfies, give this place a try.“

“Love a fully vegan spot, and this place has a big menu and all the charm of a cute ma-and pop-restaurant. Also lots of fun restaurants in the same parking lot with seating, so something for everyone if they aren’t a vegan believer.
As for the food, all freshly made and piping hot. Love that you can add fake meats to anything for not too much extra.
Only nit-pick was I wasn’t a fan of the fried rice (not enough tofu for my taste and a bit bland), but portion size was plentiful.
In a world of vegan restaurants closing left and right, it warms my heart to see a delicious and kitschy store make fresh and delicious vegan food!“

“My parents and I go to this restaurant whenever I visit them in Gardena. This is one of those restaurants that the local Koreans go to for good food. You know what I mean. We had sullungtang - I chose meat while my mom chose mixed. Excellent food and good banchan. The people around kept on asking for more radish kimchee - I didn’t think it was that good - we preferred their fresh cabbage kimchee.“

“Came here for the first time. The soup is soo goood! We got the beef soup with bone in and it was amazing. So flavorful and rich. One of the best soups I've tasted. Very authentic Korean soup. The people that work there are very nice. I like the decor. From the outside you couldn't tell how nice it is. But inside is super cute. I definitely recommend this place. “Went here with a group of 7 after our get-together. We ordered bossam, braised mackerel, spicy squid, tofu kimchi, and potato pancakes. Everything was good. The potato pancakes were the best part. We liked them so much that we ended up ordering 4 of them. I’d definitely order those again.“

“What's there to say. It's Olive Garden. Endless breadsticks and soup or salad. I took advantage of their never ending pasta and had to be rolled out of there. Service was quick and friendly even though it was very crowded at dinner time. If you've never been it's worth a visit. The chicken and gnocchi soup was very tasty as well.“

“I love banchan. I love the variety of vegetables that accompanies the order. This restaurant gave us TEN banchan! I went to this restaurant with my mom. She used to come here often but it was my first time. We ordered pork kimchee soontofu and a combo soontofu with kalbi. They advertise their meat is angus. I like my kalbi more cooked but the meat was soft and good. The soontofu was excellent as well with rice cooked in rock bowl. Loved it.“

“I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“

“A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“

“Casa Filipina Bakery’s ginataan bilo-bilo is a true taste of the Philippines. The balance of sweetness from the coconut milk and the slight savoriness of the bilo-bilo was spot on. The texture of the bilo-bilo was perfect - chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. A delightful treat.“

“We ordered 2 jalapeno kimbap and 2 beef bulgogi kimbap and they gave us 4 little spicy soups that I thought was miso at first but it's not it's a delicious bean sprout jalapeno soup. If you’re looking for quick fast-food service, this is probably not the place for you. I’ve been coming here for a while, and the food is always good quality, but it takes time. I usually order a drink and relax while I wait for my food. In my experience, the wait is typically at least 30 minutes and can sometimes be up to an hour.
Personally, I don’t mind because I know what to expect, and I enjoy having a drink while I wait. However, if you’re coming here just because they’re open late and the prices are cheap, be aware that your food may take a long time to come out.
The people serving customers are the same people preparing the food in the kitchen. They come out to seat guests, take orders, and then go back to cooking. There isn’t a dedicated waitstaff like at many restaurants, so service can be slower during busy times.
That said, the food quality is worth the wait for me. Just come with the expectation that this is not a fast-food , service type of experience.“

“My family come from NewYork and we order pho combo and bun bo hue. It is 10/10. The owner dropped by to greet us and also ask how is the food. My sister was not feeling well so I ask the owner to buy a slice of ginger. He came back with the whole ginger and gave to me with no charge. I am so grateful. Thank you very much.“
