“Rick has amazing customer service skills. We were a bit hesitant to come bak because the last time the service from another server was not great. This time around, Rick really delivered exceptional service. He is representing the restaurant and the company very well.“

“WOW WOW WOW !!!!!! Best seafood I have had in California hands down. Extremely fresh, fast and packed with flavor. They hooked me up with a free Taco ?!?!!!!!!! Blown away !!! The service was amazing, the girl working the register was strait hustling and being courteous to every single person as dozens piled in 1 after another non stop as I enjoyed my meal at the bar. AMAZING MUST TRY FOOD !!!!!!!!!! I’ll be back Everytime I’m on this side of town.“

“I never really liked lobster rolls before, but my husband convinced me to come here and try it. Honestly, it was the best decision! This lobster roll completely changed my opinion — it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and so flavorful. Now I finally understand why people love lobster rolls. Highly recommend this place!“

“The stars aligned. We were overjoyed to find a BOB vegan restaurant, inspired by grandcestor Dr. Sebi's alkaline nutritional guide. Highly recommend Beyond Vegan - Culver City. The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“Chichen Itza is a local gem; a real, honest cocina Yucateco. I often find that even if yucatecan cuisine is on a menu of a restaurant, it may be half hearted, perhaps assuming the flavors and heat won't sell. Absolutely not the case her
Chichen Itza is a small, but confident showcase. There is consistent high quality to the food, which is artfully prepared and served. The dishes include delicacies such as: Cochinita Pibil, Poc Chuc, Relleno Negro, Agua de Chaya, and others. Humble, basic ingredients from the earth and sea, crafted into dishes possessing impeccable flavor and soul.
For those wary of high scoville numbers, the heat is restrained, but you can lay it on too and enjoy the wonderful flavor that can be harnessed from the Habanero.
As it is within a food court, and there is the intensely popular Holbox next door, the smell of ceviche and other uncooked seafood can be present. Finding seating can be challenging as well. Do not let this keep you from going.
Park on the street, and ignore the line out the door for Holbox. The food, and the people of Chichen Itza are worth every effort to come enjoy.“

“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“I made a trip to this spot after seeing the great reviews, and overall was ok. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, and the service was pleasant.
We ordered the ribs combo pho and the brisket and meatball pho — both bowls had a solid, flavorful broth that hit the spot. The ribs wasnt that amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and well-seasoned. Thai tea was also great.
My main gripe is the meat portions felt a little skimpy for the price — I expected a bit more generosity in the bowl. At around $60 for two people, it’s on the pricier side for pho, which did temper the experience slightly.
That said, the quality is clearly there. If the portions were bigger or the price a touch lower, this would be an easy five stars. Worth a visit, but go in with calibrated expectations on value.“

“I had dwaeji-gukbap, and I highly recommend it.
There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender.
The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.“

“Yanina Nunez the manager is amazing, excellent service. She made me feel important by asking me how was the food? Is there anything we can do better? She also helped me carry my food since I walk with a cane and it’s hard to carry things! Thank you Yanina💕. I will be back. The food was delicious.“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The soup is very tasty, and the broth tastes pure, clean, and comforting—you can really tell it’s well-made and not overpowering.
The price is reasonable, and the serving size is just right. Overall, everything is good: great flavor, good portions, and fair pricing.
If you’re looking for a simple but delicious soup with a clean, rich broth, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I would happily come back again.“

“I order from No. 1 Chef often via Postmates. Something went wrong this time (not their fault, their computers were down), so my hubby and I took a quick trip to pick up our order. The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. The soup is ALWAYS hot and fresh and just feels like a hug. I've also ordered the egg fu yun, and trust this place is NOT stingy on the portions. Everything I've had has never disappointed. Yes, it may look like a hole in the wall, but if you want the kind of Chinese food that satisfies, give this place a try.“

“love this place sm!! 💜
the prices are awesome, I love the outdoor seating.
the food is super well portioned and lots and lots of veggies, which has been a pretty rare experience for me at most vegan Asian restaurants.
staff is friendly, even when swamped.
the customers are nice, which sounds weird to say but sometimes the crowd at restaurants (especially vegan) feels weird and pretentious or just icky.
their papaya salad is my favourite in LA. It's not too sweet and it's a really really good portion. super fresh. flavoured so good, and if you ask for it to be spicy they don't joke back :)
they sell little plant cuttings of bamboo and other cute home items for fair prices.
they have pickled jalapenos on tap!
they always give me extra citrus, which I appreciate!“

“As a person who was growing up in a coastal city & loves seafood, I highly recommend this restaurant. They have real good fresh sweet seafood. Plus, my husband is not a fan of seafood but he changed his mind when he tried the fish tacos here. They close early around 8pm, that is the only issue I don’t like.“

“I’ve been on the hunt for a great Thai spot since my favorite restaurant closed a few years ago, and I think I’ve finally found it! This was our first time ordering, and we were so impressed. “A nice restaurant for Korean comfort food. The bibimbap was good. It feels less Americanized than most restaurants, which was a good thing. We were a bit sad that the samgye tang didn’t have ginseng in it. I think it might be in the broth when they cook it but we usually get the real ginseng our dish too when ordering this. Overall, the taste was good.“
“Casa Filipina Bakery’s ginataan bilo-bilo is a true taste of the Philippines. The balance of sweetness from the coconut milk and the slight savoriness of the bilo-bilo was spot on. The texture of the bilo-bilo was perfect - chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. A delightful treat.“

“We ordered 2 jalapeno kimbap and 2 beef bulgogi kimbap and they gave us 4 little spicy soups that I thought was miso at first but it's not it's a delicious bean sprout jalapeno soup. “I love how ethnic markets: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican supermarkets in So. Cal included a food court where everyone can sample ethnic dishes. At this H Mart, I ordered Hot Stone Bibimbap. It arrived with three sides, and two sauces. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe this dish. All the raw vegetables were freshly sliced, warmed by the heat of the stone and rice. The cooked vegetables were perfectly cooked-maintaining their bright green color. I prefer low salt, so I just poured in a little bit of the sauce. While sitting down to eat my lunch, I thought about groceries to pick up from H-Mart. I’m a little surprised that this food court with 4 eateries wasn’t busier during the week. Bring your appetite.“

“BCD Tofu was closing and i was craving for Korean Tofu and ribs. Tofu Village was open until 1am. I did not expect Tofu Village to beat BCD by a mile. The banchan tastes so good and so much variety. Tofu soup came out sizzling hot together with kalbi beef. What i did not expect was the Purple stone rice. Best rice i have tasted --and i eat rice everyday! The food is so good! I didnt expect a place in Gardena to serve superb Korean Tofu! we usually find these great restos in Koreatown. Service was excellent-- only 1 lady managed the orders. She moves fast and have great customer service. You need to try this place- you will not be dissapointed.“
