The manager is an amazing lead-by-example type, and the whole staff is knowledgeable, great at customer service, and the food is always made to perfection. “Came here for lunch on a summer Monday. Not busy at all. We sat outside to get some sun but the seating options are great. The vibe inside near the bar is classic & the other inside area was lovely and gave patio vibes while being enclosed and shaded.
Lunch specials were fabulous! Worth the price and the flavors did not disappoint. On our way out we noticed Taco Tuesday & Happy Hour menus. Pics attached (taken 6/8/26)
Small parking lot in the back as well as paid street parking.
They also have a kids play area on the patio with lots of toys. I believe it was partly shaded.“

“Hosted a 40p work event on their patio and everything went seamlessly. Working with Kendall and the events team was great, and JC + the rest of the staff were all wonderful. The food was exceptional, no sacrifice of quality for quantity. We will absolutely be back!“

“Had lunch at Taco Rosa Newport Beach and really enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, with authentic Mexican-inspired dishes and great presentation. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a perfect spot for lunch. Great food, great service, and a very enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Just stopped by the walk up counter for a cocktail last weekend. They’re right there on the boardwalk not too far from Balboa Pier. Server was nice and welcoming. Helped is right away and we took on the sites for a bit while we took a break on our bike ride. Looks like a fun spot.“

“My wife and I always make it a point to visit Newport Beach when we are in the Los Angles area to go to Rockin Baja Lobster. The Big Baja bucket for two is generously loaded with grilled steak strips, lobster tails, shrimp, chicken and your choice of a salad or chowder, beans and rice, corn on the cob. The service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very festive, the only way it could be a little better is if there were more room, but because of the location it's in that's just not possible. If you're not satisfied when you leave it's your own fault.“

“Every time I come to Cali for vacation I must visit the JUICE BAR at Whole Foods for my morning fix of greens. I love this location. I never come to Orange County without visiting this particular location for my morning fix of greens. This is one of my favorite Whole Foods for their JUICE BAR. Awesome!!!“

“I’m a regular customer for 10 years working in the mall and most days of week going for lunch with my colleagues. I just want to appreciate Gladys she is one of the best workers whenever we go there she provides an exceptional customer service/ Bar now we don’t look at the menu we just ask her what should we order and everything and every time she recommends something we love it. She is absolutely amazing person she welcomes every single customer with smile and she keeps on checking with us if everything is good. We truly appreciate her. Thank you so much.“

“There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. Most great places come and eventually go but GM is still.#1. Thank you Peter and staff!!.“
