“Food is OK! But portions are big and everything tastes fresh. Salsas were really good but the chips could break your teeth lol. Loved the outdoor dog friendly seating. Servers were really great. Got the Pina Loca and it was alright. Nice vibey spot for dinner by Newport beach.“

“There is a God!! I have been away for years working in North Dakota praying for a shrimp burrito. I was in Balboa over weekend and got my Shrimp fix. So darn good! The best shrimp soze and taste anywhere. They have not changed anything during this bad inflation. Miss the salsa bar but they gave us plenty. “Oh my gosh this place was absolutely incredible! I got the carne asada with shrimp plate, Mexican rice and beans, and I also got the chips with fresh guacamole and salsa as an appetizer. I also tried the blackberry margarita which was absolutely delicious. Very good Mexican food.“

We started with the blackened chicken nachos, which came in a good portion loaded with cheese and meat, though the meat was a bit on the lighter side. For our mains, we ordered a variety of dishes including the tacos carnitas and steak, Rosa burrito, Rosa bowl, and the Rosa combo. The meat in each dish was delicious, with the steak taco standing out in particular, and the Rosa combo was both plentiful and satisfying.
