“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.”

The mango margarita with tajin on the rim was delicious.”

The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!”

“This review is long overdue and unfortunately really really wanted it to be a 5 star! I’m a food courier so I come here (as well as all the fast food chains in SB/Goleta) almost every night. I especially come to the 24 hr restaurants bc I work the graveyard. When I come in and see their lead Marcella working I immediately know it’s going to be a pleasant visit! This woman and her team just kill it every single time! It can be wall to wall busy or dead as can be but no matter what Marcella always has a smile and always welcomes me with genuine warmth! She clearly can see how hard I work and she’s even asked me how I was doing as a rude customer was non stop ranting at her for some stupid reason! She works so hard and obviously cares very much about her job here. Her team listens to her and responds so well that you can tell they have much respect for her. It can get really crazy busy there especially on the weekends after the bars close. She handles the insane amount of sudden orders like a boss and keeps the drunkards at bay! If I could I’d write you a novel about the last fiesta weekend where I thought for sure she’d break I would! I was literally stepping over drunk people that Saturday night! She kept her composure, never hesitated, stayed calm and professional and pushed out those orders like it was nothing! If she’s not already she’s deserves max pay! At least a future manager! Bravo Marcella! Easily my favorite late night employee!
So I really dislike giving bad reviews but they lost a star bc on 2 nights a week (I think) there is another lead who is the complete opposite of Marcella. In fact I wouldn’t normally even say anything except that this girl hates me for some reason I’m not aware of. Everytime I come in and she’s the lead I know that she’s going to first give me a super horrible dirty look, ask me what I want or just nod with an eye roll (which I’ve learned means what do you want), act extremely annoyed and put off, put my order on the counter without saying a word or even looking at me (I’ve actually waited for her to tell me it’s my order and the running time is 16 minutes she let me stand there), never saying hello , goodbye thank you just nothing. I’ve tried asking her if I’ve done something? Just looks confused. I make sure I’m polite always greeting her saying thank you but no matter what just loathes my presence! Which would be fine if I deserved it but honestly can’t think of any reason why she’s so rude! I literally avoid going there, decline nice paying deliveries when she’s working…. So I knocked off a star. Ultimately I recommend this location I’ll just hope that the rude girl likes you more than she likes me. Marcella is a rockstar!!”

I don’t use Perfect lightly, as I am known to be critical and a perfectionist especially when it comes to events. They made my niece's wedding planning experience so easy, from booking the venue to providing Customized menu options, and ALWAYS received quick responses any time we had questions as well as added personal touches of their own to the wedding. Serina and Patrick were extremely helpful, detailed, and knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted and how they could help. On the wedding day, The whole staff was very friendly, attentive, communicative, accommodating, Extremely helpful, and responsive, from assisting with centerpiece decorations, to serving hors d’oeuvres Always with a smile, making sure Each and Every guest was taken care of throughout the night, I was very impressed! “Little known gem of a brewery in the Funk Zone. We have been a patron to to Rincon Brew in Carpinteria and Ventura many many times but this was our first going to RB in the Funk Zone. We had a great experience with the new staff there. There is a very nice menu that compliments whatever beverage you decide to partake in. 5 stars for service, beverage and food!”

James is extremely friendly and professional and we’re so happy we hired him for our picnic.”

“Went here after camping at El Capitan canyon for the weekend. Me and the missus were hankering for a good cup of joe after 2 days of instant.

The store was very clean and had a good vibe. Smaller indoor are but there was adequate indoor and outdoor seating. Only one barista / employee working there and he was apologetic about the wait but was extremely helpful.

I got 2 cups of pour over of their lightest roast. It was a bit too dark for my taste but smooth and not bitter at all. My oldest got the creme brulee latte and loved it.

The bacon avocado toast was the BEST! The toast, avocado, bacon, hard boiled egg and sauce was so delicious. I didn't want to share it with my partner it was so good. The breakfast sandwich with sausage was one of the best my youngest ever had apparently. He said it was better than a McDonald's cheeseburger and that WAS his favorite food of all time. Lol. He even asked when we'd be going back.

In summary. The coffee used was on the darker roast side and would probably have been better as an espresso/milk drink in my opinion. If you like darker roasts then this is the place for you. The food there was excellent and I especially recommend the avocado toast.”

Overall, we’re very pleased with the flavor of the coffee and cinnamon roll. The kick of the coffee, the bitterness, and the sourness are just what we've been looking for—the best espresso we've tried so far compared to many others. The cinnamon roll, we thought, was amazing, too—though it can be slightly sweet to our palette, other than that, we love it. However, it took some time to prepare our espresso for both when called; my husband had to wait another 2-3 minutes for the other one to prepare. We thought it was strange to wait that long given that they have many staff within that area, roughly 8 staff.

Other than that, it was a great experience with the coffee and pastry, and the ambiance was great, too.”
