“I don’t normally give 5 star ratings but feel this place deserves it. It’s a hidden gem in downtown South San Francisco that serves authentic, unpretentious Salvadoran (and Mexican) food. The pupusas (we had the ones with pork, cheese and beans) were absolutely delicious and inexpensive. They go well with the house coleslaw and the mild chili sauce. The Salvadoran enchiladas (more like tacos) were very good as well. The best part of this restaurant is the staff, who are warm, generous, and kind. They really make you feel this is neighborhood place. We will definitely return to sample more items on the menu.

“Not my first time here. In fact it's like my 7th. In any case I just tried a new dish that I've been eyeballing the last few times we came here. It is the "Pollada peruana " . This is currently on the top of my faves in this place.“

“Taqueria La Morena has some of the best Mexican cuisine that I have ever tasted. They had a large vegetarian offering, and the food was fresh and authentic. The prices were cheap, and the service was very quick. Extremely good food that I recommend to everyone!“

“This is by far my go-to spot for authentic Filipino food in South San Francisco! Every dish is packed with flavor, and the quality is always consistent. Whether it's classic favorites like adobo or their delicious lumpia, everything tastes homemade and comforting. The staff is always friendly, and the portions are generous. I keep coming back for more, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true Filipino dining experience!“

“This Cajun and Chinese food mixed is unique and special. The food is excellent and well prepared. The dumplings are the best and very well prepared, better than other places and you have the soup inside each dumpling, which is well done. And the green string Beans was at the right tenderness. The problem is the parking… and the location is not the best
