“This place is always crowded!! Came here recently Sunday afternoon, right when the bar opened at 4pm so we got a table in the bar area to eat/drink and watch the football games. There’s always a wait for a table at the restaurant, so plan accordingly, especially if you go for dinner.They have the big beer towers if your group wants to share. Full bar with lots of alcohol/cocktail options. Great food dishes were: Ốc Hến Bánh Đa (baby clams and escargot with rice crackers), Ốc Len Xào Dừa (coconut escargot), Ốc Saté Bơ (saté garlic butter escargot) and Cơm Chiên Crawfish X.O. (crawfish fried rice)—all delicious and well flavored!! And at the end, they give each person a small complimentary bowl of Chè Bắp (Vietnamese sweet corn dessert) which is good!“

“The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“
“Food is excellent. Some staff are friendly, some look miserable to be there. Better to get there early! They do get busy fast during lunch/dinner hours. My go-to menu is the marinated beef belly (toro) with either sukiyaki or chicken broth. Taken few of my friends there and they absolutely love this place. “Shabu Shabu is our special date night meal. We like to seak it out wherever we travel to. We really enjoyed our meal here, portions (ordered large meat) were good and ingredients were fresh. This is the first Shabu Shabu I have visited that did not have bok choy and that's my favorite veggie I was disappointed. But they have all the other ingredients, excellent broths and variety of sauces, even egg for dipping. We ate here on a busy Saturday night, it felt like a cafeteria with how the business is run, very efficient but no ambiance for the cost of the meal.“

After choosing the soup I want, I simply need to select the type of meat and request it from the server. However, during busy times, it's advisable to order in advance to avoid waiting for the server for too long, as it can be frustrating.They provide various vegetables, seafood, dumplings, tofu, noodles, and more, so I can take as much as I want and make my own sauce. Once I've chosen my soup and added various seafood and vegetables to enhance the flavor, I start my meal. Personally, I enjoy adding seafood to the broth for flavor and dipping it in hot sauce, then adding meat first and enjoying it with vegetables alternately.I recommend finishing about 90% of the meal and then enjoying the remaining 10% with udon, ramen, dumpling soup, or other desired choices. Among them, I highly recommend adding eggs and rice to make egg porridge, which is the best way to conclude the meal.The egg porridge, made by boiling the remaining vegetables and meat, always tastes exquisite. Trust me when I say you do NOT want to miss out on this place!I went in with a bunch of foodie friends to try out some of their Asian fusion cuisine, and every single dish was off the hook! Everything they post on their social media is exactly what you get. This place has a casual vibe, and it's a great place for family and friends to gather.We started off with the Fried Roe Fish Balls and Popcorn Chicken. The fish balls came out hot and fresh, and they were slightly crispy on the outside with the soft texture you'd expect on the inside. The chicken was really good, crispy, and not greasy at all. I liked the dipping sauces they both came with, too. Next up was their famous Lomo Saltado Fries. O M G!!! This had me salivating when I saw it from afar before they even set it down on the table. The shaken beef on top of those perfectly fried, crisp fries was a party in my mouth all by itself!The final dish was the Back-Rib Pho, which has got to be the sexiest, beefiest bowl of pho to have ever hit my palate! I mean.. do you see those humongous beef ribs?! We had so much food left over AFTER we tasted everything. We each got to pack a doggy bag when we couldn't finish it all.
