“Love this place been going for years!“

“Planned a “Girls Trip” to San Francisco and arriving late in the evening. I knew we’d be hungry and wasn’t sure what would be open and didn’t want fast food. So I pre ordered their “To Go Box” Raquel was absolutely helpful and professional when corresponding to my inquiries. Had it delivered directly to the hotel and it was waiting at the front desk (refrigerated in the back) when we arrived. The hotel staff said this was the best and most beautiful charcuterie box she has ever seen! Oh how we enjoyed it once we were up in our room! Highly recommend and would definitely order from them again when in town!“

“I had a company retirement party lunch. We shared a margarita pizza and salad for appetizer. The pizza was off the charts delicious. The sauce was amazing. We also shared the octopus. The octopus was the best octopus I have eaten in over 30 years. It was five plus stars!!!! However, my lunch entree of halibut chickpeas & zucchini completely missed the mark. The spices and pepper on the halibut destroyed the beautiful delicate fish. The chickpea zucchini and two other unrecognizable, hard bitter crunchy vegetables tasted awful. I was very disappointed at the $32 entree. The person who chose the hamburger said it was tasty but it was huge enough for two meals. The Panini people were so-so. Finally the pasta people absolutely loved their pasta. After tasting the gnocchi it was exceptional, the marinara sauce was off the charts delicious.“

“Had dinner here specifically to try the non-sushi items and the menu and service did not disappoint. We tried the Tokyo beef, fried lobster, lobster risotto, hamachi crudo, and Walnut Creek roll. I would order everything again. Our favorites were the beef- it came with a great salad that paired well, and the lobster items. Next time I would try a different crudo and roll- the ones we got were great but I want to try other items on their menu. The service was on point. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. The drinks were good- I had the tequila martini and would order it again. Definitely check this place out for a unique and crafty sushi spot!“

“Came here with my wife, a fellow yelper and her partner. We all had a long week and it was a pre-bday turnup because my bday is 7/7. Our waitress was Erica (May be spelled differently). She was very attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and overall fantastic.

We tried the seasonal corn appetizer. It was delicious. For my entree, I had the garlic chili shrimp (No pineapples and mild spice level). It came with coconut rice and that was not a match. I swapped the rice for regular. They were very accomodating to all my requests. My eye had the pork bowl (I think that's what it is called). The pork had a smokey taste. She stated it was delicious. We had some wings that they lit tableside. They were really good.

For dessert, my wife had the pineapple dole whip with a shot of brandy. I received a birthday song along with Tiramisu cake. I did not eat the cake, but everyone said it was good.

My wife had a regular mai tai and I had the ultimate. Both were delicious. Next, we tried the ...zombie. it is the highest alcohol level drink you can have. You can only order up to 2. It comes with a warning label....lol. Honestly, it was a good drink. We were not left feeling tipsy tho. However, that's just me. We them all had some shots to end the night at this spot.“

“We stopped by this bar while in the area and it was a pleasant surprise. The drinks, the food were all top notch! My favorite was the Shrimp tacos and the whiskey flight. I got the whiskey flight named eagle rare off the menu which was pretty nice to sip as we all sat by the fireplace outside. Hops & Scotch has both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking spots around the surrounding area. The staff was awesome and friendly will definitely come here again whenever we are in the area.“

“Dined on the covered patio alongside the creek which made for a comfortable outdoor dining experience. Service was friendly and enthusiastic, making up for kitchen delays on a busy Saturday evening. Cocktail menu is great, especially for those of us that are tequila and mezcal fans. Signature cocktail pricing is good for this area and the mezcal cocktails are all made with Del Maguey Puebla which is great. We have never made a bad food choice here, but for appetizers consistently get the ceviche as it is excellent. This time we had grilled fish tacos and carnitas for our entrees, thoroughly enjoying both. The carnitas in particular were uniquely served with a variety of accompaniments to fill the two corn tortillas included with the plate. Look forward to our next visit.“

“The steak salad was amazing! Drinks were delicious, live music, great service. Stayed for the line dancing class at 9pm and that was a blast. My first time there and I loved it.“

“First time visiting Retro Junkie since it was WPLJs back when I still drank alcohol, now over ten years. My buddy and gym partner told me about the emo cover band and I had to check it out. Brought my fiance and we had a fun evening. We played pool for a few games. People started showing up. And then the band started to play. They played so many great songs and were truly putting on a performance. There were tacos outside and wouldn't you know it they didn't charge for water. I'm going to have to keep my eye on this place to see about future shows.“
