Has a vibe like my favorite old haunt Sunny's Bar in Red Hook Brooklyn, only restaurant style. Will be back and back again now that we finally found this treasure hiding in plain sight in our hood. The entire staff is lovely, and the ambience charming. Sal's feels good for the soul, not just the belly.“

“I wanted to try this place because it was all the hype on TikTok! Now going in person, it is very different than what I expected. The ambiance is great and resembles a lot of restaurants in West Hollywood. There is a pool table which is so cool, but most people are using it for photo opps. I would recommend it for a casual place to eat food and casually hang with some friends but I would not recommend if you are seeking a bar kind of vibe for socializing. Definitely get the pear cocktail! It was delicious!“

“Terrific little neighborhood cafe-style restaurant — you order at the counter, take your seat, and your food/beverages are brought to you. Mainly outdoor seating (a few indoor tables, though not much atmosphere there), elevated off the sidewalk and far enough away from Sunset Boulevard traffic to not be bothered by noise or exhaust fumes. Most important is the food: excellent, is somewhat limited, menu choices, perfectly prepared. The miso salmon is not to be missed. Get there early for dinner. They close at 9pm.“
