“We came to Bricoleur Vineyards for a “Girls Gone Mild” bachelorette weekend, and while there are plenty of amazing wineries in the area, this one was everyone’s favorite.

The wine and food were absolutely top-notch (pro tip: order the Isla Rose Brut Rosé and the French fries, you won’t regret it!). What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Anthony. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible visit, helping us explore different wines, answering all of our questions, and even sharing recommendations for the rest of our trip.

The grounds are breathtaking, with gorgeous views and a welcoming atmosphere that made us want to stay all day. Anthony made us feel less like visitors and more like family.

We’ll definitely be back with our families on future trips. If Bricoleur isn’t on your itinerary, you’re missing out!

“We always have a good experience at Sweet T's. We usually sit on the patio (they have nice heaters) due to the noise level inside. The patio can get noisy too, but we usually ask for a table at one of the ends.”

“Cutest local bakery! I went in looking for an afternoon treat and all the employees were so sweet, attentive, and friendly.

I got the carrot cake cupcake which is delicious and chocolate chip cookie which is so soft and chewy.

We happened to be talking about baguettes (I had a baguette keychain) and they were SO incredibly generous and gave one for me to try. It is delicious - super soft inside, great taste, good crust. 10/10!

“I asked someone at a nearby business where I could find good Mexican food nearby and they suggested Martin's Taqueria. I'm sure glad they did. I had the Carne Asada plate with my choice of black beans. It had a generous amount of delicious perfectly seasoned meat cooked with just the right amount of char. The garnish was fresh and crisp and it came with sour cream and guacamole. My friend had the vegetarian Super burrito and was also impressed with his meal. I'll definitely come again when I'm in the area.”

Daniel (Pen-for-Rent owner): "Five years after Tisza -- pronounced TEE-sa, one of our all-time favorite restaurants -- left its former location in Windsor, my wife and I finally checked out its beautiful new home in Healdsburg. To our delight, we found that Chef Krisztian Karkus and his wife Alena (who has now moved out of the back of the house to charm guests as a friendly, attentive hostess/waitress) have made their restaurant's tastefully appointed new incarnation even better than we remembered it. What makes Tisza special is not just the wonderful food, drink and ambience but the sprinkling of rare (in California Wine Country) offerings on its menu, including mouthwatering Central and East European delights -- schnitzels, goulash, spaetzle, potato dumplings, wild mushrooms and, OH YES!, apple strudel -- reflecting the couple's background (he's Hungarian and she's Czech). While we didn't manage to sample everything that tempted us in this first of what will surely be many return visits, we'd be remiss if we didn't single out for high praise the house-smoked salmon with dill mustard sauce, pickled mustard seed and crème fraiche served over potato latkes. We think this fabulous starter might be more aptly named "salmon ambrosia." (If anyone can transform a fish into food for the gods, Krisztian's your guy!) “I called in a pizza to pick up. First time getting a pizza here. They were so helpful and nice on the phone. I wasn't sure what to get. Asked if they have stuffed crust, THEY DO! I got an all-meat stuffed crust and it was ready so fast but cooked perfectly. The girl got my pizza and was super nice and friendly too. The restaurant was nice and clean, everything looked shiny and welcoming. The pizza was so good, lots of toppings, soft melty cheese and they gave me lots of parm and peppers, so I was a happy girl! “Recently on vacation to the area and tried Mary’s for our first time. I have to say, I truly wish they went national. This was one of the best restaurant experiences that we have ever had. We travel all over the country for different reasons with our family and we were absolutely blown away from the moment we walked in the door. The customer service was hands down best ever. Friendly and inviting from step one. Server was friendly, polite, attentive and the food was amazing. Our young son bit his tongue, pretty hard and was bleeding a bit and they over heard and without prompt went into action, offering him ice, checking in several times and even offered him a little ice cream since he didn’t eat any of his meal. The entire staff was hands down amazing and the food was just as amazing. I have never dealt with such a caring and cohesive team. Not only our serve but other staff also stopped by to check on him. We didn’t try pizza on this trip, but the pasta and sandwiches were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and after 1 trip, I know why they have been around so long and had a great reputation.”
