50 Best Seafood Restaurants in Orlando

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“

“Let’s just say this place is worth a visit. Had dinner there a few nights ago with a group 7 and loved the place. It’s Disney, and you get what you pay for. It’s a top notch place, with excellent service. “My wife and I tried this place for the first time it was so delicious! We ordered the dim sum (black truffle siu mai, steamed pork ribs, abalone shrimp and pork, soup Dumpling, and the seafood soup) and oolong tea. also Erni was our server and he was great, friendly, and attentive to our request for condiments and ect. “I have been coming here for many many years and the food have changed a lot make sure when you come and order Jalea de marisco no need to order for 2. -3 ppl they come with only 4 very dried shrimp and 1 muscle very little onion on top no matter what size you order where before was plenty was very disappointing however service was good and friendly!!“

“Hands down the best oyster place in Orlando. Inly downside is It’s a small restaurant and it’s not fancy or too appealing inside. But that all adds to the theme. If you sit at the bar you can get the bucket specials which is a great deal on oysters and they chuck it in front of you. The oysters are always fresh, great tasting, and big in size. Other than the oysters, the peel and eat shrimp steamed and wings are delicious.“

“OK, so the atmosphere is not that great very limited seating air conditioning wasn’t working when we were there so the door had to stay open and a fan was on having said all that I’d go there 1 million times over I had the prize shrimp and it was some of the best I have ever had and the crab bisque was delectable. “We were in from St Louis staying at Universal..we got a Lyft to go out to a local restaurant on a hunt for a seafood boil..we found THE BEST SEAFOOD BOIL EVER at Mr. & Mrs. Crab!!! My daughter was over the moon! We did the build your own and it was absolutely perfect with crab, shrimp & lobster tail! We picked the sauce and we opted no seasoning/spice, you get to pick your flavor and spice level separately!!.. SO DELICIOUS!!! All of it, including potatoes and corn were cooked to perfection! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The food was ready fairly quick, not much of a wait at all! The place is decorated in a cute nautical theme! It was very clean!We will definitely be back, every time we are in Orlando! (Whoever the server was on Fri night/5-31-24, was a complete sweetheart!)“

“We loved the food but sad we didn’t get to do the trivia quiz we have heard about. We had a lovely meal tonight and cocktails but unfortunately it wasn’t the experience we had hoped for. As we are from England it’s a very rare chance we would be able to visit. We have heard about the forest gump quiz but unfortunately our server didn’t do this with us. It wasn’t busy as we had just walked in so we were hoping for the full experience. If we have had the full experience we would have given a top rating.“

“Hands down the best seafood I have had in a very long time. I was lucky to try this great food at a food truck Friday. The chicken and shrimp, my wife and 3 year old enjoyed. I went with the shrimp and crab. It was amazing. Fresh cooked to order. It came with potatoes, sausage and an ear of corn all smothered in this amazing homemade butter.I could go on and on about how great this meal was. “As a vegan I always have to be creative with what I'm purchasing if Im Out and about.I always get their fries , potatoes and corn without butter just seasoning.I've been going to this location for some time.I will say the fries are good but not as good as they use to be. A little skimp on the seasoning.Other than that everything else is good.A perfect place to get food without spending an arm and a leg.“

“It's been years since I've had outback. I gotta say it was so fun. The environment was very social. Guests seemed happy and friendly and ther service was fast for our hungry group! I was even delighted to meet the owner who came to our table a few times. My husband asked a few questions out of couriosity about him. And he revealed he was the owner! What a delight to meet him. “It's a great take-out spot for 'boil' style seafood. I love Franks! I like the shrimp combo with potato, cob-corn and boiled egg. If they have lobster tail, grab that too! My sister loves the crab legs.

I've been going here for about nine years now and it's always clean and the family staff are super friendly. The area has some character, but don't let that dissuade you from stopping in. Just be sure not to let your bags tilt on the way home or you'll spill some butter.“

I stay at this hotel every time I go down to Orlando and it is very convenient to book for your next day flight. The restaurants are great. The staff is amazing. The balcony view is unmatched. It is a little more expensive to stay here compared to your average hotel, but you won’t regret picking this Hotel over every other one out there. Spend the cash and stay here. It’s worth it.“

“I got the curry goat dinner… It was delicious very flavorful. It came with black beans and rice and cabbage. The large potion you could get 2 to 3 meals out of it. I got a piece of jerk chicken breast with sauce delicious as well.“

“We had a great experience here. Life was our waitress, Tomas was our server. They both were very professional and friendly. I have to say my favorite food was the braised beef tacos and chicken nachos. We had them two nights in a row. I highly recommend the brownie sundae, it's huge! The atmosphere was nice in the evening, perfect weather, drinks, view, what more can you ask for? I definitely recommend eating here.“
