“They're located in Moiliili. Easy to find using Google Maps lol. Parking can be a problem if you don't go at the right time. I lucked out cause when I pulled in there was one stall and it was reserved for Fujiya.
The shop is cute. I didn't expect it to be that small but it is long. It can get crowded during peak hours.
I actually went there to pick up my IG giveaway prize but I also had a list of things I wanted to get since I hardly go into town lol 😆 the cashier was very friendly and makes you feel like family. I forgot to grab the mix pack of senbei and she went in the back to grabe a bag.
The mochi is so fresh and pillowy soft. I grabbed the last eggnog mochi 👍🏼got the 9 PCs manju pack.

“We came for lunch the food was delicious! For appetizers we had the frying dragon roll, parmesan brussels sprouts, and mesclun mix salad with blackened ahi. Our main lunch was the chirashi. We love coming here and listening to the live music. It's so relaxing! We'll definitely come back again!“

“This place is ridiculously good. I’ve only gotten DoorDash orders, so I don’t know what the place is like inside, but the food is excellent. The turkey pesto packs so much flavor. The açaí bowl with strawberries and blueberries is not just healthy but delicious. Their avocado toast with egg also hits the spot. 10/10“

“Of you like a casual setting, this is ideal. Nice and quiet by today's restaurant standards. It's a BYOB place, which I love. The staff is super friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about the food. The food is superb. My favorite is the hen. We brought a vegetarian friend one night and because they make everything to order they are extremely accommodating. They'll serve any dish as you like it. Try to save room for dessert - their pastries are crazy good. Really wonderful experience!“

“Vegan Options! We got the vegan inari in a burrito. They had 3 sauces that were vegan - an onion dressing, green sriracha and a white tabasco. They said the green sriracha and white tabasco were spicy, but I didn't feel that way. The white tabasco was delicious.
Would def recommend, split it with my boyfriend and was very filling!“

“To Thai For has been a mainstay of Waialae Ave since before the pandemic. They are family run and the food is excellent. Highly recommended for families and groups: great selection of well made and delicious food, friendly service, and tasty as can be. Our favorites are the pad kee mao and the panang curry. “LA2HI GRINDZ First, support small businesses! Secondly, for the small tent they have- they make quite the treat, here’s what I got: Taquitos-good snack :) horchata- tasted good, don’t know what to compare it to potato ball- fun concept, oddly satisfying to each, very enjoyable empanada- yummy! Exceded my expectations, would love to see them open up a restaurant and do much more. Give them a chance if you have the opportunity to!“
“I was able to order the gingerbread kane and wahine cookies on the last day they accepted orders. I was not sure what to do, but the person who helped us was so patient and kind. I also highly recommend their oatcakes and I wish they still sold them at COSTCO because they are always sold out at the 7-11 stores.“

And to enjoy Blue Tree’s “funky-shiek” ambience, cooling A/C, chill music, great healthy, nutritious & delicious grinds, smoothies, juices, coffees & teas, and their very cool, friendly, contemporary staff of baristas led by Manger, Andrew <~> Kevin Aoki, founder/owner, has followed his father , Rocky Aoki’s (Benihana) lead in establishing a memorable brand and high-level chain, next door to his Doraku Sushi ~> I’ve sat with Kevin and he tells me how he travels around the World always looking for unique ideas, concepts, formulas, furnishings, artwork, et al, so as to constantly upgrade his existing, and soon-to-be, restaurants & coffee/tea shoppes... And it is his “little touches” that impress & linger ~ such as me dipping into a most delicious soup-du-jour this afternoon, organic mushroom & potato (yummy !), and savouring both the soup and the inscription written on the inside lip of the soup-cup: “LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL - ENJOY THE RIDE”... and as a committed, commuter bicyclist & environmentalist, this saying & maxim touches me deeply & profoundly ~> Props Kevin Aoki, Andrew, staff, and Blue Tree Cafe... “Can't beat a local bread shop that makes delicious baked goods at unbeatable prices. Ordering is easy online and pick up is quick and efficient. Parking is available in a parking lot behind/adjacent to the building. All of the breads and baked goods are larger than you'd expect. The ciabatta is over a foot long and the slice of potato focaccia was the entire length of the bakery box (started eating before I remembered to snap a photo 😅).“
