“Great Food, But Way Too Loud The food and service were both excellent — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the live band playing downstairs was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation and had to keep asking our server to repeat himself. Two nearby tables left because of the noise. If you're hoping for a peaceful early dinner, skip the 4:30 PM time during happy hour music. Great restaurant, but the volume ruined the vibe.“

“We went for dinner and put our name on this list and went to bar. Ignored and then when others came and sit beside us they were greeted and were assisted asap. Im not one throw race card but it seemed very prevalent...politely left and went next door to Lelani and was treated great and like a valued customer! please do better Hula grill!“

There’s not a lot of seating so best not roll in with the whole big family.
Skip the soda fountain there’s a chalky quality making all the flavors taste a little off.“

“We had a GREAT time at the luau tonight. The menu was family friendly, even our super picky little boys (7 and 3) ate most of the food. They were also very engaged in the show and had no problem sitting through the whole thing. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and Old Lahaina Luau made us feel welcome and special.“

“A wonderful alternative to many simple seafood places on the water and the hotels in Ka'anapali. Perfect for a sunset dinner every time. The tables are well placed apart. Can watch the ocean and sunset or the interesting parade of people walking along the beach path. The cocktails are well made THOUGH please Know they do NOT OFFER any blended drinks like naval flow or Pina colada...the wine list is extensive but they do offer the famous MonkeyPod Mai Tai with the foam. Plenty of all Local food ingredients and all were well prepared. And finally our server was perfection is personality, attentiveness, rechecking our needs, and bubbly energy. “First time eating at this restaurant. I found the service excellent. Oliver was a great server, extremely friendly , and took good care of us. We got the short rib won ton appetizers and my wife got the chicken while I got the Thai curry with chicken. In short, the food was really well prepared, very flavorful and well presented. The view can't be beat as it was overlooking the pool with a beautiful view of the ocean. Having been to Maui many many times, I thought this was also a good value for the area. It's not inexpensive by any means, but relative to other restaurants I've been to it was a good value for dinner. I was curious about some of the negative reviews as I just didn't experience anything negative - food was delicious, the service was great, and I would easily return there on my next trip.“

“Hidden neighborhood gem! Love Napili in general but this place treats you like family. Anything on the menu that is poke is amazing. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the pork quesadillas and poke bowls. Sooo tasty!“

“I eat a lot of locomoco. I mean a LOT of locomoco. Every chance I get.

And this was hands down the best locomoco I've ever had. It sounds crazy, but the seasoning in the patty and the gravy is just delicious. The option to get fried rice instead of white rice is nice, too.

“Half of my hotel stay was a 5/5 but it was bought by new owners for the other. I booked this hotel stay because it was the only privately owned hotel I could find in Maui. There was so much attention paid to honouring and celebrating Hawaiian culture, from the food to the amazing cultural centre. All staff was friendly and I had an incredible experience with the cultural centre staff who were always happy to answer any questions I had and share their own personal experiences. My farewell lei ceremony was a moment I'll never forget. I had a great Hawaiian meal at Hui Hui and halfway through my stay the hotel was abruptly bought and rebranded to Outrigger. Hui Hui is now going to be "Maui Brewing Co" and I can only hope that the new owner preserves what makes this place special - the cultural centre, the staff, and honouring/celebrating Hawaiian culture.“

“Very nice restaurant overlooking a beautiful golf course. We had a reservation for 7:30 and were able to be seated immediately when we walked in. The mocktail I ordered was very refreshing and I ordered the spring pre fix which is a three course meal contain a starter, entree, and dessert and it was phenomenal. The service was also very professional and efficient and the servers were very knowledgeable. I highly recommended coming here even though the price is on the higher side.“

“We started with cocktails which we amazing. I had mango mojito my husband had the special markers mark whiskey made for Roy's. Not sure about the brand. It had ginger beer too. Both drinks were great. Appetizer was coconut shrimp. Tender and flavorful. Dinner was Mac crusted ono and mamas Yama meatloaf. Both were on point. Too full for dessert. I felt as if a lot of the staff had worked there a long time. They had confidence and a ease in performing their jobs yet were on top of their game. No slacking. The guy who served our food was picking it up and moving fast to deliver it but took time to explain what we ordered. We will be back!!“

“Seriously the best place on ALL levels. Get there when they open at 11:00 as it gets very busy. There was a line out the door when we were there. Reasonably priced and great to take out for a day at the beach. We had an assortment of food items as we went a few times on our stay in Kahana. Lobster Bisque - Made fresh and it is the best I have ever had Poke - Fresh and delicious. By far the best I have ever had Shrimp Cocktail - You cant go wrong with a classic favorite Fish & Chips - nicely fried - not greasy and large portion Grilled/Fried Fish Tacos - They were both equally delicious and large portions Oyster Shooter - I could have had a dozen Seaweed Salad - Fresh and great flavor Crab Cakes - OMG The piece de resistance though was was the fresh Mahi Mahi that we barbequed. We used the 10 minute soy ginger marinade and it was better than outstanding. All of the workers are so nice and helpful. They work hard and take care of you from start to finish. Thank you Jim and crew for sharing your food and hospitality. You bet I will be back on my next visit to Maui. Mahalo!“

“Ordered Mongolian Beef and Chicken Korean BBQ and both were truly delicious.

We went to the restaurant to order. While waiting for the food to be ready, I checked and noticed food was $5 cheaper per dish onsite than ordering through DoorDash for pickup. BTW, you will need to pay cash when ordering at the restaurant. Nice people, quick service, delicious food at good prices.“

“We love the environment of this store. Highly recommend Black Rock Wings. There was a power outage in West Maui today, so hotel guests could only eat here, so it was very busy. The waiters were very welcoming, but the food was served very slowly.“

“During our stay we tasted the chicken tenders, quesadillas, piña coladas, fries, Prosecco, soft serve and all were great for a pool day. Really great fries! You can scan the barcode for the food/drinks to be delivered to you poolside as well. Friendly staff and great snackies!“

“Really beautiful. They have 3 labeled vegan options. The onion rings, the french fries, and the local farm mixed lettuce salad. There is an option to add a garden patty to the salad, but the garden patty is not labeled vegan. They also have a tofu and vegetable stirfry which comes with potato macaroni salad so I think that’s why it’s not labeled vegan, perhaps it could be made Vegan.“

“Great poke. We loved the Lahaina heatwave on nachos. Whalers village was extremely crowded on a Sunday and every restaurant on the ground floor had an hour long wait. Surprisingly this place had less customers that day and very quick service.“
