“Best foodie food in Poky that fills you up. And I can say that as an avid cook making a lot from scratch, after living in DC for many years and traveling full time across the US for the past 3 years. We were first in the door at 4:30 and had the place to ourselves for a bit. Ambiance is perfection, but my father-in-law will need to use his phone flashlight to order. First time here for us and we celebrated our anniversary while Nana watched the kiddos. The artwork is so fun, fine art with food. We had a four top for the two of us and we shared the couch. I am not a wine aficionado and asked for a not-dry, but full-bodied red and I already don’t remember which it was but the server did a perfect job of choosing for me. Wedge salad was so good (first few bites seemed a little heavy on the dill but it was great after that). Seriously large portion, amazing combination of sweet and sour and savory flavors. Dressing thickness was 💯. Plenty of toppings on this wedge. We had the 8 crostini but added two more of the special for the day, a shrimp and parm. They were all mouthwateringly delicious and more than enough for the two of us. Our server, I wish I could remember his name, was fantastic. With the 8 crostini you eat from savory to sweet. Perfect combination of flavors. The fig was just a tad too sweet but still wonderful enough to eat! We were worried we would be hungry after the crostini board but were totally wrong. We were out the door with the wine, wedge, my partner got the soup and loved it (if I remember correctly it was a cheddar broccoli and delicious), and 10 crostini board plus 25% tip or so, for maybe $90ish. For a special occasion dinner for two leaving full, with fantastic ambiance, service, and the best food and perfect wine I’ve had in Poky, it was absolutely positively worth the price. One day we hope to return for one of the special 5 or 7 course dinners. If you love good food, a beautiful room, and fantastic service, this is your place.”

“I'm really sad that I'm leaving a negative review... The service was fantastic, and the beer was so good I bought some to take home, but the food killed it for me. I ordered the cheesesteak with fried pickles and a Margherita pizza. The cheesesteak innards were delicious, but the bread was so dry I didn't eat it. The fried pickles were floppy even for fried pickles. The pizza was, hands down, the worst Margherita pizza I've ever had. It tasted like bread and balsamic vinegar. The tomatoes, what few there were, were underripe, there was hardly any cheese, and the basil looked like an afterthought. For $24, I could have bought 4 frozen pizzas and been much happier.”

“I LOVE how knowledgeable the staff are! If you have any questions or concerns at all, they can answer them all! They're always super friendly and professional, and their products are the best I've had! I was definitely a skeptic when it came to CBD, but I was desperate for help for a tailbone injury and it changed my mind on it forever. I couldn't get anything else to give me any relief, and I wasn't able to sit, stand or lie down without pain. It was crazy how much of a difference it made, and almost instantly! I also use the hip and joint chews for my elderly dogs, and they love them! My oldest pup is going on 11 years old now and only has three legs, so he's definitely slowed down and you can tell when he's hurting. After his chews, he's up and running with his brother again like a young pup! I can't say enough about this CBD! 10/10 recommend!!!”

“I feel this place deserves a recent review. We were driving through town on our way back home to utah from boise. it had been a long drive and we were tired of being in the car. initially we were going to go to pizza hut but their dine in was closed. a Google search sent us to buddy's. When we parked we weren't sure if they were open or where the front was but found our way inside. it was small and cozy. we were invited to sit anywhere and looked over the menu. my husband chose a pizza and I got the spaghetti dinner. i didn't realize all of the courses that came with it! antipasto, garlic bread, salad, a main course, and dessert! my husband and I left satisfied and with leftovers to take home. staff was alert and friendly. proces were decent for the amount of food. and it was a nice cozy place to get off the road for a while. I would drive the two hours back anytime!”

“I’ve loved the refresh this place had in the last couple of years. Food is good, I’ve had the Fish and Chips and the Spicy Philly. Both were wonderful and pricing was actually not too bad for a casino restaurant. Only thing I will ding them on is the uncomfortable chairs they have when you sit at a table. They are very hard, and not the best to sit in for a long meal. Service is good, and attentive.”

“well, the food looked amazing when we went to pick it up. we were from our of town. didn't re the ONLY option is TAKE and Bake. they prow it, wrap it and you pick it up to cook at home. the staff was very helpful. they told me to text their manager and she refunded my online order.
they have. they have NO ovens or boxes. being from Michigan we had never heard of a take and bake only place.
we were tent camping and had no way to cook the food. but it looked good!”

“I was traveling through from out of state and needed a pick-me-up and a walkabout. I was able to walk up to one of two drive through windows to the kiosk on the island. I found quiet, comfortable seating on either side. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I look pretty ratty because i have been on ths doad for a couple days, but I instantly felt self, welcome, and at ease ordered a Large Tasmanian Chai Frappe and a shot of espresso, and the low price made me question the cashieer (and whether or not I had accidentally traveled back to 2003).
The Tasmanian Chai might be the best Chai blend drink I have had in a decade or more, and the espresso was perfect: thick, dark and smoky and just the right temperature to wake you up without burning your throat... topped off with a chocolate covered bean... well done guys!

“I have been ordering street tacos from the catering menu for my work team the last two years from the Jefferson location. We get 2 trays Steak tacos, one tray chicken tacos, one tray pork tacos, one rice tray, one bean tray, 2 bags of chips and an extra 24oz green salsa. There is enough food for at least 26 people. We usually have beans and rice left over with a few tacos. The food is always hot and tastes great. Our order is always ready and if I make a last minute addition, it doesn't take the staff long to get it made. The chips and salsa usually get eaten in two days out in the office area. we don;t eat in so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. Rated by a guy from Idaho.”

“Visited for lunch today, with each person getting a different type of dish. We are really big foodies and usually get let down by restaurant foods. Not today. Every single item on every plate was perfect. The entrees, the sides, the glazes, dressings, everything was perfect. I had the Gyro, which was to die for - and the family had the salmon, a gluten free palate burger and macaroni and cheese for the kid. We have never had a better meal anywhere. I cannot wait to come back next time we’re in town.”

“It’s been a number of years since I’ve been to an Applebee’s… Traveling from the Midwest to the various national parks today was my first chance to have a nice sitdown meal… I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu items and the variety that Applebee’s has to offer these days… The happy hour specials are incredible… I could tell from the locals that they really enjoy coming to this restaurant… I was welcomed by the hostess and several of the staff would stop by just to chat and see how I was doing and where I was from… It felt like a true neighborhood pub and restaurant… I had the chicken quesadillas, the pretzel sticks and the chicken tacos. They were so fresh crispy and flavorful the flavor was really good… If you’re driving by on vacation or live locally, I seriously would recommend coming here often… The servers are warm and friendly for sure and you can tell the management really cares about their people…”

“We live two hours away from Pocatello and we always go to Jumbo‘s to eat. Their breakfast is great. Their lunch menu is great. Overall their food is great.. friendly efficient staff and Cory is a great cook and so is the others. I can see that they’re happy working there which that tells me a lot. Their homemade bread and cinnamon rolls makes your mouth just water. Reminds me of my younger years when my mom and my grandmother used to bake bread..”

The last three experiences when I come to town have been odd. From being profiled and offered drugs to narrowly avoiding a bar fight with tater tot’s in hand and then 86ed the last time in trying to meet m8s for a birthday, with no explanation from the staff. Not sure I will come back. The office bar and grill is an amazing place to go and the staff is very respectful and helpful!”

“I love the new owners they are so friendly! Since taking over the bakery, they’ve really increased production, so there’s a much better selection of bread and pastries available throughout the day.
The previous owner was wonderful as well, but it used to be very difficult to get items like croissants or baguettes because they would sell out so quickly due to limited quantities. The new owners are producing much more, and I no longer have to wait in line an hour before opening.
I love the almond and chocolate croissants, the baguette, and both the Classic and Scout sourdough breads. There’s also a cinnamon pastry that is absolutely delicious. The scones are wonderful too.
10/10 highly recommend!”

“My daughter and I were so impressed after our visit to Kiwi Loco tonight. She has cancer, so we are taking more precautions than perhaps some other people. I was pleased to see that KL has also taken precautions to keep their customers and employees safe. There was hand sanitizer available when we walked in. They had napkins by the bowls, and signs inviting us to use a napkin when we touch the soft serve handles. Yay! That reduced my anxiety greatly. When we got to the fruit and refrigerated toppings, a helpful employee scooped up whatever we wanted and as much as we wanted. It made me feel more confident, knowing that only gloved employees were touching the handles and that I was the only one touching my bowl. It was the same when we got to the dry toppings. The bins had been turned around to face the employee, who happily served up as many M&Ms and gummy worms as my daughter could wish. When we got to the syrups, we could use napkins to touch the bottles. Everyone was wearing a mask. They were all so happy and helpful. I know some people don't believe this pandemic is a problem and probably think this is silly. But I'm extremely grateful to Kiwi Loco for taking these steps to keep us safe. None of it took any of the fun out of the experience. And if you think these restrictions are silly, you don't have to use hand sanitizer or a napkin. It's still the same, great, Kiwi Loco. If you are looking for a fun treat during the pandemic, I highly recommend them!”

“This is a small restaurant that is filled with plants and good food. The recipes are unique compared to many in the area. My favorites are Satay Chicken, Terryaki Chicken, and I don't know if they still make it but the red chicken with onions I can never remember the name of. I moved away for 15 years and it was the first place I ate at when I moved back. The food was just as good as I remembered. The prices are about the same as they were when I was living here going to school at ISU. They have good appetizers too. It is called express because the main dishes, rice, and noodles are ready to go. If you want an appetizer, you will need to wait while they make them fresh but if you are in a hurry, just get the main course and main side and you can be out in less than 10 minutes. The butter chicken is new to me, it has a high heat kick though so if you like mild heat, use caution. The heat is not additive and it takes down after a brief time but is it hotter than the Satay Chicken for sure. Really good rounded flavor on all of the dishes.”

“This is a great food truck to grab some interesting and delicious food, drinks and snacks. The owner alternates locations between across the street from the Casino at the Shoban Museum (also worth a visit) on Wednesdays from 12-5, and Pocatello and Blackfoot with hours from 12-7. I got the smothered tamales and an aqua fresca for $10.50 and tried an Ube Horchata which was delicious. The three tamales were green Chile and pork with just the right amount of heat and topped with avocado cream, lettuce and tomato and it was very good. Also wanted to try the birria tacos and some of the fresh fruit options, but I couldn't finish the tamales. No seating at the museum location, but as a to go place would highly recommend.”

When I lost my card, they accompanied me to the drive-thru to help search for it. Boulder, an employee, was particularly engaging. They made an iced drink for me at no extra cost when my husband requested a frappe instead. The manager, Libby, heads a team that is genuinely committed to providing exceptional service. Boulder is who I had the most interaction with. He emphasized that every team member is hardworking. Boulder has such a great Aurora and energy. This Starbucks is a true gem!”

“First off, it was the best place but if the workers hang up on customers, how do you expect to stay in business. If a customer calls and asks where there order is after almost two hours, you don't get rude with them and then hang up. Then when they try to cal back and ignore their call until they call from another phone, just to hang up on them again, someone needs to lose their job. Order was returned and my money better be returned. I'll be in to talk to a person in charge soon!”

“Absolutely loved our experience at Puerto Vallarta Tex-Mex! We came in with a table of 8 and were blown away by how fast, friendly, and attentive the service was. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the staff was on it—our cups never even made it to half full before someone was offering refills. Seriously impressive. The food? 🔥 Across the board. We had the chimichangas, charro beans with bacon and cilantro (SO good), the macho burrito, the El Gayo burrito, and enchiladas—every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned. What really sealed the deal was that the owner personally came over to check on us. Such a genuine, kind guy—it made the experience feel even more special and welcoming.
