“We drove from Genoa City Wisconsin because we heard how delicious everything was. We were NOT disappointed. The meat on our sandwiches, one corned beef and one pastrami, was piled high! Homemade brined pickles and bakery items exceeded our expectations. Worth the drive and we will be back.“

“Peri Peri is definitely one of my favorite types of cuisines and the port of peri peri is by far the best! Anytime I visit the chicken is well marinated, flavorful and tender. I would highly recommend the chicken tender rice bowl since they are well portioned. Definitely check this place out as well as their other locations!“

“Came to Bloom for my birthday dinner with a couple friends and we were all blown away. Bloom gave me a complimentary ube cheesecake for dessert with a birthday candle, so sweet. We tried a ton of stuff, I think the whipped feta, arrancini, cheese plate, and Besitos de yucca. I didn’t order the Yucca Gnocci before the kitchen closed so I didn’t get to try that but everything we had was amazing. Loved the sangria and birds of a feather cocktails too!“

Just not what I normally expect at an ice cream “shoppe” (shoppe with that spelling always has a quant vibe), with quotes on the walls about dead humans and such. Clearly a lot of love goes into the decor, and I’m not tucking anyone else’s yum- hence the five stars. But I did worry that the mannequins and paintings might give a young kid some nightmares. Fortunately he mostly looked at the ceiling, which is a super cool cloudscape. So, yeah. Amazing service, ice cream, and super friendly… just feels at odds with the decor.“

Great for someone who appreciates Chipotle for the generous portions and vegetarian and non vegetarian choices. Nitya ... staff person, was so sweet and remembered to add cucumbers I wasn't enabled to on the online order app and brought the to go order directly to me. The food is also amazing bc it stays true to Korean food fused with fresh veges and both Korean and non Korean based like glass sweet potato noodles or salad or purple or white rice. The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. Free and ample parking in the mall and it's right next to Panera. NOTE: if you download the app, you get an immediate 11 points and a FREE bowl that you can enjoy in 12 days from the purchase of your 1st bowl. See pics! What a great deal. I am telling all my friends to come. Everytime I come to this location I am so happy bc the food is always fresh and portions are great and it’s super clean … the chefs do a great job and staff are so sweet and the staff also clean and they keep it immaculate. Vegetarian options: Im vegetarian and its a haven for me but also great for meat eaters. So everyone is happy.

Weekends start off right with an SBK pizza on a Friday night. I’ve been coming here for years. During Covid, SBK became my local grocery store. One of my favorite establishments in Chicago, I will always be a fan.“

“Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

“I was in the area for a show at the Vic Theater and saw this place was close by. I'm glad I decided to stop in because this place was amazing. I ordered the country fried steak, and they had it ready within 10 minutes. The meal was delicious. The seitan steak tasted almost exactly how I remember real country fried steaks to taste. The gravy was savory, and the potatoes were super creamy. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll definitely be coming back. While everything on the menu is vegan, vegetarians can get real cheese and eggs if they ask. Since the restaurant is located in the Northhalsted neighborhood, it's also a safe space for LGBT folks. The recipes are unique to this restaurant. We have eaten at other Ethiopian restaurants. They do not even register next to this one. The Proprietor is SOOOOO nice. And, ask him what brought him to the United States. It's an emotionally moving story. If you haven't had Ethiopian cuisine before, it is NOT scary. There are hardy vegetarian and meatatarian dishes. So, there's something for everyone. And, the dishes that are spicy are mild. So, don't worry about your sensitive belly. The meal is a SHARED experience. So, make sure you bring friends. They will thank you afterwards for sure☺“

The only real downsides are twofold: there isn’t a great coffee selection (since that isn’t their primary function) and there is very limited seating. Don’t let that discourage you because everything is easy to eat on the go or in your car and they will package it for you by default. Adding this place to rotation!“

“The people that work at this locationj are very professional, Isee them put wash their hands &put on a fresh pair of gloves after they finish a transaction. They also serve a decent amount of food.

I love that when I go there they have everything fresh and everything is in stock and if there’s a waiting time, it’s not more than 10 minutes and the cookies are amazing for dessert. I love that the food is gluten-free even the cookie!
