“#1 Sushi place for me. SO FRESH and delicious 😋. The quality here is top notch, from the to-go sushi in the fridge to the specialized sushi you can order at the counter. I especially loved the hand rolls because they were huge and so fresh. There are so many options for specialty rolls, maki, poke, and vegetarian options as well. I also tried the mochi for dessert and it was so good. Whenever I crave quick sushi I think of this place. Such a great place in the north shore for easy sushi for reasonable price and amazing taste! 🍣🍨🍙 Just from the pictures you can tell this quality is superb.“

I had an amazing experience at this sushi restaurant! The waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience.

The food was outstanding—the soup was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, making for a perfect start to the meal. I also tried the avocado roll, which was exceptionally fresh and of the highest quality. The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy, complementing the sushi beautifully.

“I love Takibi and have been coming here for a few years. Living right around the corner helps of course. It’s a small and simple yet quality restaurant and you can tell the owners are passionate about sushi and giving customers a good experience. “I’ve been here twice for lunch and dinner. Both times the fish was perfect. Nigiri and Sashimi that is top of its class (fresh, large portions, perfectly prepared). This is one of the best sushi spots in Chicago and the prices are more reasonable than everywhere else (local or in the city). The Nigiri/Sashimi lunch is only $16 and very large. I had 12 different cuts of fish for dinner. I will definitely be back. Great food, great service, well done! Highly recommended.“

Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. I really wanted to have Japanese food (specifically Onigiri) for a Studio Ghibli-themed baby shower, and reached out to several local restaurants. Ekiben was by far the most responsive and fairly priced!

Ordered out 3 or 4 times during the lock-down and they got my order perfectly right every time. They're open for dine-in again, very happy about that! Sadly, this doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. This burrito is really small compared to every other I’ve gotten and you can tell by how much paper was left over and wrapped at the ends. It seems the seaweed wrap that is being used is smaller and that’s disappointing.“

I suggest you come here only do not wish your time and other sushi places, they are not as valuable and food is not worth the price. Other places only come to gorilla sushi here on western where you will find the most fares prices realistic food and however, the service is amazing.“
