“Stopped in for brunch before a show at the Saenger. We mainly chose here because of the convenience, but we’re so glad we did! Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. Our children enjoyed everything too! Mofongo was delicious and I appreciated the mocktail the bartender made for my daughter. 10/10 recommend.“

“Great food great service what else do you need. I ordered the garlic oyster po boy and some chicken and sausage gumbo. both were to die for. Definitely a place to stop if you are in town. it's a little off the path of the French quarter but worth the drive“

“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!“

“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.“

“I will always be grateful to this place. I used to work in the French Quarter and my shift would end at 3am 4am and 5am this was my safe place to go sit inside and sometimes have an Irish Coffee which is delicious by the way. They made sure I was safely in a cab or an Uber.❤️“

“I worked for a start-up in 2016. We worked out of the back of Who Dat Cafe until we had an office space. The coffee and pastries were incredible. I think I lived on wedge salads and the French onion soup. The staff was so nice and accommodating to us. Sitting and chatting when the afternoons were slower. I’m gonna stop in this weekend for a mug. Who Dat Cafe will always be special to me.“
“On our way out of town and didn’t want to fight to the crowds in the middle of the French Quarter but wanted to find some good craft beer. This place did not disappoint. We did 2 flights and were able to sample each beer that was offered. Ended up having a nice wine glass of the barrel aged blueberry sour and a pint of the WC Pale Ale. Great atmosphere. Shared some Mardi Gras familiarities with some locals, grabbed some stickers and were on our way. Great beer and laid back atmosphere! Highly recommend!“

“Super cute spot with a great menu. Our server was lovely and her recommendation did not disappoint! Went with the grits bowl and it was the BEST grits I've ever had, complete with sauteed veggies, fried eggs, and crispy bacon. Also, the fresh juice was delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!“

“A friendly local joint. The personable bartender served tasty beverages and conversation about the history of the bar, including the celebrities and movie productions that have been in the bar. Spent an hour and was inspired to daydream about living in the area and have this be the bar where everyone knows my name. If you need a break from the city, this is it.“
“Love these guys- great beer, great atmosphere, great staff; there's several breweries in the area and this is the one I go back to the most. Alternatives for people who don't drink beer, great choices for those who do- well-brewed standards and creative kooky beers, they've got something you'll like & something new you'll be surprised by.“

“Cozy ambience with a unique, delicious drink menu. They also offer their kitchen to local food businesses, and the Asian fusion one there when I went was phenomenal. Donavin makes a wonderful drink called “Thank You for Being a Friend” with Louisiana run, almond, passionfruit, and smoky amaro – must try! I was in town for the Home + Garden Show, and Barrel Proof was the perfect unwind!“

“We loved it! Such a unique experience hidden away in New Orleans By Water area. It was recommended ny a friend. My dad lived in Germany for 8 years in the 70s, and was excited to see a place that served the food and beer he missed so much. A plus was the outside seating and the beautiful day. Service was great, food was great, and we can’t wait to go back!“

“Broad Street Cider was definitely a place I will return anytime I’m in New Orleans!! I love that they are all natural in the fermentation process (NO ADDED SUGARS/SYRUPS) and gluten free!!
Excellent experience with great owners!! We enjoyed everything about it!! The ciders and meads were amazing and refreshing!! The charcuterie tray was super fun…and had many things I’d never tasted! I appreciated learning all of the origins and history of the foods/drinks!
The pub design/lighting is cozy and I loved seeing many of the different steps of the processing in the well organized working space behind the bar!
Thank you for a great time and we’ll see y’all again next time! =)“

“0n a recommendation from our small haunted hotel we hit MRB for lunch. The catfish po boy was outstanding. Their drink specials were just right and reasonably priced. Two days later, we went back to try the alligator sandwich and some charbroiled oysters also spot Definitely would not call this a tourist trap. It’s like most of Nola, funky, functional and fun. Don’t confuse with Mr bs“

“We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!“
