“La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! We will definitely do this again!!”

“I discovered this restaurant while bicycling to Lexington on the Minuteman Trail. I love the traditional dining room with table cloths and Chinese decorations. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive. It has become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boston.”

I love that they sell day old baked goods when they have them as well. They also have a huge variety of milk types to add to your coffee, and hot sauces for food at the 'coffee/creamer station'. “We enjoyed our Thai Pancakes, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice. The staff was so sweet with my son too. He's 2 years old and still learning to eat outside quietly. He approves of the Thai Pancakes...he tried to stuff a whole one in his mouth. Going back to try their fried rice...my Dad made Thai Fried Rice for us growing up. So, I am excited to try theirs.

Also, I am gluten free and dairy free. So, all the dishes we've tried meet those requirements.”

“This is my 3rd time here. My husband & his best friend use to go here almost regularly whenever
they got together. His friend has passed away. Our waitress asked how he was doing & very understanding and thoughtful herself when she found out. The place is happily decorated (they have a Christmas tree all decorated in the entrance for the joy it brings!!)Bell like music & 2 TVs with sports on. They are at least 2 sisters all 3 ladies recognized & greeted us. Food is excellent!!! We both had soup -hot & sour for me, wonton for him- fresh & tasty, wonton seem to be freshly made. I love seaweed salad- theirs is the only I have ever been srved w/out iceberg lettuce
'filler'!!. He had sweetened chicken fried rice & a spring roll, I had their tofu w.garlic sauce & white rice. Food was delicious. Hospitality genuine and sweet. Atmosphere unique and pleasant. Paid city parking and plenty of it. There's a small bar.Bathroom accom

“I just want to thank the wonderful manager who helped me at 6:30 AM last Saturday morning. I had placed an online order the night before, and the online app gave me a confirmation that the order would be ready for pickup the next day. When I showed up in the morning, I was surprised that the order was not prepared, and apparently not even received. When I expressed my disappointment, the manager and her team of two other co-workers quickly assembled a large order (box of joe, dozen donuts, 6 breakfast wraps), giving me the benefit of the doubt that the failure in communication lay with the Dunkin' app which "confirmed" my order. I was very thankful in the moment, and able to arrive to my own place of work on time due to their expeditious effort. It was only later in the morning that I checked my EMAIL and saw that the Dunkin' app had sent a message that the order was not processed since the CC I used had expired. Upon realizing this, I immediately returned to the Dunkin' location at the end of my shift. Of course, since this was 12h later (6:30p.m.), a different crew of young men were staffing the counter. After explaining the morning's situation, I paid the whole balance of my order using a different CC. I asked them to relay my thanks to the morning crew when they had a chance.”

“An offshoot of the late, great Jose's Mexican restaurant in Cambridge. Many of the selections are the same. We came specifically for the pozole, a chicken and homily corn soup. A large bowl was loaded with big kernels of corn and plenty of chicken. A friend who was born and raised in Mexico said Jose's pozole is top notch. Quality and quantity make for good value. We easily found parking on the street at no cost for 2 hours. Service was fast and friendly. They plan to expand inside and out so seating will increase. They're also getting a liquor license.

“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!”
