“On March 21,2025 I put together a retirement party for a coworker from the FC in Milton. There was about 25 of us and I must say the food , drink and service was phenomenal . Mr Chan helped me with ordering the food as I wasn’t sure how much to order . In the beginning I had ordered the food and he reached out to me to let me know he didn’t think it was enough . He was so right he helped me order extra and I’m so thankful for that . Also it was kareoke night we all thoroughly enjoyed our time . Sandy“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. “I've been to KungFu Kitchen two times now and it's been consistently great. I've ordered the Pork Xiao Long Bao, Pork and Shrimp Wonton Soup, Scallion Pancake with Sliced Beef, Shanghai Pan-Fried Pork Buns, and Cucumber Salad - all were amazing and would order again. The pork and shrimp wonton soup was brought a perfect balance to the flavorful meal and it's broth was super yummy. The cucumber salad was seasoned perfectly and was a nice balance to the otherwise heavy meal. My favorite is probably the pork xiao long bao, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Service was great. Both times we were a party of two and were seated quickly, if not immediately. Food came out very fast. Will 100% be returning.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“Great find, the best fried soup dumplings I've had so far. You can watch them making dumplings through the window. Always fresh and obviously hot from the stove and always delicious. Wontons in spicy sauce is also among my favorites. Hard to get inside table during busy hours but you can sit outside when it's nice out.“

“Pleasantly surprised! The place was actually quite busy on a Friday afternoon. First caveat.. if you do not like lamb do not go here. There was a distinct lamb smell in the air because...lamb is really their specialty! We tried a few things.. beef and lamb, and by far the lamb was better. The noodles were the highlight, great texture and unlimited length! My comment makes it kind of funny that the noodles were harder to eat in my stir fry because it was one big noodle. “This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Boston. I recently went back for the first time in months, the food was so good! As I was finishing eating, I remembered reading recently there’s a New Owner, often times quality / consistency goes down with a New Owner however that is not the case here. “I had a great time eating here because the atmosphere is really cool with big statues and a modern look that makes it feel fancy but still comfortable. The lettuce wraps are a must-try because they have so much flavor and are fun to put together yourself at the table. Everything we ordered came out looking beautiful and tasting really fresh, with a good mix of sweet and spicy options on the menu. The servers were very attentive and made sure our drinks stayed full throughout the whole meal. It is a perfect spot for a family dinner or a night out with friends when you want something consistently delicious.“

“I had the hand pulled noodles with beef. I wish I took a picture but I was so excited to devour it that it slipped my mind. The beef was cooked incredibly tender and the flavor was on point. The sauce had that indescribable nostalgic scent of home cooked Chinese food. The noodles you could tell were actually hand pulled. Some thicker, some thinner, but all delicious. Perfect texture and complemented the beef very well. I’ll be back with friends“

I ended up getting a pupu for 2 and a small lo mein and a few minutes later I called back to add a dumpling and got the free pork fried rice and they didnt have an issue with it very welcoming as well when I walked in to pick it up. Also lots of pictures to help people choose what they want if they're not sure what they want. Well anyways the food was actually great. The shrimp were a bit different for me the long stick ones but they was fire. The rice was on point too. Everything I ate was actually tasteful tho. 5 stars for me for the experience and the food“

“Ratatouille | Remember that scene when the food critic was brought back to his childhood memory of his mother cooking ratatouille? It was kinda like that for me at Big Fun Claypot in Brookline. Such familiar childhood memories of flavors. I got the combo with Salty Fish and Ground Pork with Chinese Sausage and Bacon and it was delish! The salty fishy had so much tasty nostalgia and the lop cheurng (Chinese sausage) was sweet and juicy. Even had fun scraping off the crispy rice from the bottom of the claypot. Will go here again!“

Keep in mind I didn't grow up in the Chinese culture, but I did marry into it and I've had my fair share of duck. This place is phenomenal. “We were a group of 4 who went to have late lunch. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Tables had iPads available through which we could place our orders. We ordered two bases, lamb, seafood platter and a vegetable platter. Food arrived fairly quickly.
We had to order sauces separately which was another 3.99 per person (we had to order 4 as required by them). The hot pot with two sauces was inconvenient to reach for 4 as there were two burners on the table but a single pot.
Seafood platter was disappointing as the quantity of food was very less.
Overall, value for money and service was fast.“

“We tried Kozy Kitchen while visiting Boston and it ended up being a really nice surprise. We ordered the beef noodle soup and xiao long bao, and both were seriously good, honestly better than a lot of places we’ve tried in Boston’s Chinatown. We’re visiting from New York, so we’re pretty picky about Chinese food, and this place definitely delivered. The location is also super convenient on the BU campus.“

“Happy Lamb in Cambridge is my preferred location in Massachusetts.

I've been going to this location for quite some time now, and it never disappoints.

I always look forward to going because of the consistency of the flavor, atmosphere, and the great customer service that is provided amongst the entire staff.

I would like to single out three ladies that always go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to the best standards. These ladies are Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna. They always have a smile on their face, are extremely kind and attentive. They make the experience always enjoyable for myself and my friends/family. It's always a wonderful restaurant experience and with them it feels like I'm visiting family for dinner with their warm welcoming back.

I really appreciate that level of service that Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna always provide. I always look forward to seeing them, and they are a great asset to Happy Lamb in Cambridge.
