“Fantastic group meal at Beth’s tonight! Staff was very welcoming and greeted our group promptly. As a larger group we wanted to try a variety of delicious items and shared them together. We ordered one of each of the Bites menu items. My favorite was the Old Bay Shrimp! 😍🍤 - dessert was delicious and cocktails well crafted. Approachable menu and eclectic environment .”
“Everything was perfect, the service, food and cocktails! Look forward to returning.”

“Another excellent experience at Persimmon. The food was great and the servers were attentive without being intrusive. The lamb we both got, ordered to different temperature, came exactly as requested (so many restaurants mess this up). Always reliably good food and service.”
“I just had my 2nd absolutely DELICIOUS Indian dinner at Virraaj on Cordell. My husband noticed what he thought was a new restaurant across from the public parking last week so we went there for our Wednesday date nite. I ate as much as I could and still had left overs for 2 lunches at home. My husband ordered a lamb dish he enjoyed and finished every morsel including the rice. I saw some reviewers would have liked more rice. We had plenty with our meals so maybe they are giving more w/ each dinner. The waiter was attentive, professional, courteous and nice. The restaurant itself was classy & beautifully appointed - you could tell someone put a great deal of thought and money into designing it. “My second visit, and the first one for two companions, we went for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice, quiet but not overly so. The staff greeting at the door is very pleasant, with smiles all around. Takumi offers specials for lunch, for $16-$18, including a Sushi one. The specials are served on a beautiful dark wooden tray, which includes the appetizer (salad or miso soup), a choice of 4 main courses (I enjoyed both Don, a bowl or rice with either eel or chirashi, a mix of raw fish; also on offer is a shrimp tempura, and the third dish is a nigiri sushi roll, (choice of 4). With this comes a small tray with three compartments, one with a salad (I had squid once and seaweed once), two and a piece of soft tofu in a slightly sweet syrup to wrap up the meal. The a la carte menu is very tempting as well, and the special rolls are delicious. All fish is flown fresh from Japan, and included Hokkaido uni (sea urshin) which was wonderful. All around, a lovely experience. We will be back!”

“Wow! What a fantastic place! I didn't expect much coming in for a business meeting, but both the atmosphere and food was just amazing!
Interior design is so well done - all the details are impressive, as well as a general look and feel.
And food... mmm.. food was 10 out of 10. 2 light dishes, dessert, tea and cocktail - everything was simply delicious! All the tastes in each dish are perfectly combined!
Service was average, but the other two components compensated fully for it.
I strongly recommend and I will definitely come back soon!”

“Dalia's Falafel catered my husband's big bash birthday party last weekend. It was the best catering experience we have ever had, and I want everyone within a 100 mile radius of downtown Bethesda to know about this fantastic establishment located at 7750 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, 20814. Ben, Cody and Kevin provided more than generous portions of outstanding food as well as practical support and guidance on preparing, presenting, serving, and storing their delicious trays of salads, sauces and, of course, falafels. They made the entire experience simple and easy. The value of the service we received was far greater than the fee that we paid -- truly! Please don't hesitate to consider Dalia's Falfel, a unique party option, for your next celebration”
“Andy’s Pizza in Bethesda is honestly one of my favorite spots when it comes to quality pizza. The flavor is amazing and very well balanced, and the thin, crunchy crust is exactly how a great pizza should be. Every bite tastes fresh, light, and full of flavor without feeling heavy. You can really tell they pay attention to the details, from the dough to the toppings.
What I also love is that they don’t just offer pizza — they have special drinks that are absolutely worth trying. Their lemonades are refreshing, flavorful, and a perfect match with the pizza. I highly recommend checking their menu online because they often have unique lemonade flavors that make the meal even better.
Overall, the food quality is consistently excellent, and everything tastes freshly made. If you’re in the area and craving truly good pizza with a perfectly crispy crust and great flavor, Andy’s Pizza is a must-try. Highly recommended for pizza lovers who appreciate simple food done right.”
“Like six years ago, this place used to be a Carne Asada grill. They had the best Carne Asada you could imagine with a lot of fat on the meat. Now it’s a burrito place, which is still very good! I am wondering, what happened to the old owner? Is it the same ownership?”
“My daughter recently moved to the area. After a long day of cleaning and unpacking boxes we ordered pizza for dinner. This is the BEST pizza! The crust was perfect. It was not greasy. It was sliced perfectly-easy to pick up. Location was easy to find and service was SUPER friendly! I am looking forward to eating here again when I’m in town!”

This place is definitely worth checking out amazing food and staff”

“We had the four-course NYE dinner ($65). I thought the food was excellent and great value for the money. Of particular note was the cheesecake Maracuya, which all three of us ordered and thought it was the best dessert we'd ever had. Truly outstanding--it was tangy, light, and sweet.”
“Great Indian-Nepalese restaurant in Bethesda. Ordered the chicken Biryani along with Chili chicken and garlic naan. The Biryani was well prepared and fresh. The chili chicken had an abundance of flavor. It wasn't too spicy either. Our server was very kind and gracious. Will come back next time I'm between Baltimore and DC.Best food and best service”
“Went to dinner at Cubano’s with a big group. Warm, intimate, and cozy vibe - floral decor, friendly staff, handled our table with ease. Unfortunately they were out of the ceviche and oxtail that I was eyeing on the menu. Food came out hot and fast. I sampled half the menu taking a bite from everyone’s plates. Everything was solid, but no standouts… except one! The 4 Leches cake? Chef’s kiss! That alone is the reason to come back!
Drinks were average — no presentation, nothing memorable. But service was smooth, and the ambiance works for groups or casual dinner. If you’re near Cubano’s, go for the 4 Leches cake! Everything else is fine too, but that dessert’s the star!”
“We saw this pizza place on a pizza show and we went today. They immediately asked us if it was our first time, and gave us a 10 dollar off our first visit. Our waitress Mya could not have been nicer or more informative about the menu. Most delicious Gorgonzola pizza ever. And we got a ricotta n meatball that was to die for. Bathrooms were so fancy n clean. So terrific food, terrific price, service and ambiance. Best pizza place I’ve ever been to. Truely. We lived it! My Sangria was so good too!”

“Heidy was amazing!! She was really patient, we had a party of 7 and unfortunately we didn’t all get there at the same time. She gave us recommendations and didn’t rush us at all. She was very funny and nice. The food was fresh and good. This was the elisa's mediterranean harvest bowl. Would recommend!”
“Vace is such a gem! It’s a Colombian-Italian takeout spot that offers great pizza, and they also have a great little market where you can buy frozen lasagna, ravioli, and even the ingredients to make pizza at home (all made by them). They also carry charcuterie, snacks, and a really nice selection of wine.”
“This was the worst service ever here and I have not been back since the last bad service..I took a friend here from Philly and took forever to get waited on. appetizer was not fully cooked.Pizza came out.... my pasta never made it out. never heard a word from the manager ..how sad. male employees were constantly occupying the men's room...the waitress is the only one what was apologetic..my friend from Philly was not impressed and I left mad and disappointed. my third time with this location. Gregorio kishketon”

“I was excited to try this new dumpling spot since I heard it just opened. I tried to make a reservation ahead of time since it was the weekend, but there seemed to be an issue with their system and it wouldn’t go through. So I had to just show up and ended up waiting a long time to get seated.
However, once we got in, the food was actually really good and everything came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The reservation issue and the wait weren’t great, but the dumplings were tasty enough that I’d go back again.”

“This is a charming locally owned café that offers exceptionally fresh food and coffee - they roast and grind their own beans on site. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the owners take the time to truly greet every customer of which there are many regulars. I am thrilled to have a wonderful place to go whenever I'm in Bethesda. I've been twice so far and plan to frequent more often ❤”
“I ordered a bulgogi sub. It was so good. So good that I immediately advised my coworkers to order from here for lunch, TODAY. I requested some add ons which they added. It was very flavorful. I also ordered French fries which were also delicious. They included what I think was mumbo sauce. A little sweet and spicy. Overall delicious.”
“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v”
“If you want to impress and delight your guests, or just have an amazing meal at home with your family, this is the place. Beautiful, delicious sushi platters lovingly created by a perfectionist. Take-out only. We’ve relied on Kanpai Sushi for special occasions for many years. You won’t be disappointed.”
“Great food! Fast and attentive service! Clean and pleasant environment!”

“I’ve been going there since it opened. We go once or twice a month and every time it is just amazing. They have an excellent variety of toppings, the atmosphere is adorable, and the staff is so friendly. The fro-yo is so good. Probably my favorite dessert. We love Yogitopi so much and you will too. 💖”
“Cornucopia in Bethesda, Maryland is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by delightful pastries, perfectly seasoned chips, rich oils, and food essentials that bring flavors from across the globe. Every shelf feels like a passport stamp from another country.
My favorite indulgence is the Caprese with Mozzarella di Bufala sandwich—complete with balsamic, virgin olive oil, and fresh bread. It’s simple, authentic, and bursting with freshness. Each bite feels like a quick trip to Italy.
Cornucopia is more than a market; it’s a sensory experience that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the beauty of real food. A true Bethesda treasure.”
“I tried their seasonal banana spiced iced Matcha and it was delicious. Also try their apple cider and their pumpkin chai. The parking was perfect. It was close to the location as well as the space. It was very clean and welcoming. Maria was very nice and friendly and allowed me to try different flavors of the gelato I love the pumpkin pecan gelato. I also purchased some gelato to go. They actually have really great tasting coffee. Definitely will be back again.”
“Fantastic smoothie! I ordered the Crazy Monkey and it was delicious. I have several food allergies and the person who helped me was very gracious and made sure my drink would be safe for me. The atmosphere was nice and bright and the facility was incredibly clean.”
“There are a lot of food options here such as hot bar, grilled, wrap. The service is fast. Staff is friendly. The price is reasonable. I ordered grilled cheese and it is good.”
“Jean’s Deli is the kind of place I’d frequent almost daily if I worked in the area. For its modest size, the restaurant boasts an extensive menu of hearty fare (hot/cold sandwiches, burgers, breakfast items), as well as fresh salads, a fruit bar, and other lighter options. Everything we’ve tried is seasoned just right with generous portions, and the produce they use is unfailingly fresh. The deli’s been run by the same owners for the past 35 years, a couple with the kindest demeanor who put meticulous care into everything they make and serve. If you work nearby or are simply passing through, bookmark this spot and give it a visit.”

“The Maryland Crab dip was the 💣!!!! Everything we tried was delicious!!! Server was fantastic!!! Great atmosphere!!!”
“The grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole comes with french fries. It was delicious.”
“We enjoyed our meal at Gregorio’s immensely. The meals were tasty and good portions. The cocktails were strong and right at the limit of reasonably priced. The tiramisu was also on point.”
“One of the best restaurants in the area. The all you can eat menu was phenomenal. The most wonderful Edison waited on us yesterday and he was amazing, hard working, and a great asset to the restaurant.”
“Olazzo catered a recent birthday party for us. Everything about the experience was first rate. Scott Crivella was extremely helpful in finagling the menu. The food was delivered right on time and was ready to serve. Our guests were delighted with the chicken Marsala, mango salmon, penne marinara, antipasto platter and bruschetta. Everything was delicious and the servings were very generous. We were extremely pleased.”

“I wanted to like Spanish Diner since I'm a huge fan of Jaleo and of Jose Andres, but the food was so lacking in finesse and taste, even for a diner. Patatas bravas was drowning in tomato sauce (I could barely taste the potato or aoli) and the bacalao over eggplant and tomato sauce had little flavor. The ham and cheese was tasty, but nothing to say "Spain" about it...mediocre food accompanied by a hefty price tag will keep me from going back. I'm so sad that Jose Andres missed the mark on this one, unfortunately.”

“I agree with the positive comments on the food; had two taco platters yesterday. Take out didn't travel well, although tried to be careful, so next time I will get bowls or delivery. Owner, please provide a ramp; handicapped customers have difficulty on the steps, and door is extremely difficult to open. It is very heavy; also squeaks; lubricate hinges. Both employees seemed depressed; no smiles, barely answered questions.”

“Marc was our server for a late evening dessert and drink. He was attentive and super polite. He had great suggestions for drinks.
The shakes were not well blended with lots of chunky pieces. Apple pie crust was good but filling was not to my liking. However a friend loved it. The apple beigneta were not fluffy more light, they seemed more like hush puppies.
Overall it was a nice place to pass time with friends but dessert could have been better. It was also extremely warm inside, maybe because it was so cold outside? But we were hot the entire 2+ hours we were there.
Go see Marc, he's great. But try some other food and drink.”
“I have never experienced such poor service. We waited forever to get a waiter, then took another ten minutes before she came back to take our order. Then she never brought our drinks. She disappeared and we couldn't find her to get the bill and then another long wait to pay.”

“Great dogs and beer selection. Cheese fries were also delicious. Would recommend to try this spot if in Bethesda, MD.”
“I was really looking forward to my sliders and onion strings but was disappointed when they arrived. The sliders were just hard, dry balls of meat. The onion strings were good. My friend ordered a pizza and said it was very good. If I went back I would order pizza. The restaurant was also very cold. I had to eat with my jacket on. Overall, not a great experience.”

My wife says this place is a good replacement for Faryab in Bethesda.
I could eat the aushak every night. The pumpkin dish was outstanding. This carryout is definitely on the power rotation.
I went back for the 4th time in 10 days and got the most amazing pumpkin dish”
“Really good and different! Had the short-rib pastrami and it was fantastic!! Great taste, perfect texture, and the mustard sauce was the perfect compliment. Their house pickled veggies added a really nice touch. The deviled eggs are not to be missed! Smoky, but not overbearingly so. The wife had the pastrami spiced portobello and was very impressed. Guys in the truck were super nice and very patient. They were out front of Baby Cat brewery in Kensington the day we went by. Will be keeping track of where they're going to be - will definitely return!!”
“On St Elmo brings something genuinely fresh to Bethesda’s nightlife scene. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elevated, modern, and intimate. The lighting, decor, and layout strike the perfect balance between swanky and social. Cocktails are delicious and the menu is on point. High-energy enough to create a vibe, but not so loud that you can’t hold a conversation. On St Elmo is the kind of place Bethesda has been missing.”
“Since checking this place out, I have become a regular customer, and now come in 1-2x a week for a grocery restock. I have had no time to cook since the new year and had been eating out almost every meal.... but there are so few places around with healthy options. I am so picky about what fruits and veggies, organic items, etc. that I eat, and thankfully sprouts has provided great options for that! The baristas/cashiers are always so helpful and kind to us. Some of my favorites are-- ALL of the soups (seriously that chicken and rice is perfection, especially if you are under the weather), turkey chili, thai wrap, veggie wrap, egg roll in a bowl, drunken noodles, bbq chicken and succotash, the vitality ginger drink (that spice burns but feels good!), the challah and sourdough bread, eskimo bites for a treat, and the strawberry blondie brownies! I am trying new things as the menu changes, but these have been on my constant restock when available of what I have had so far!! I recently learned they can heat the items for you, so you can eat a hot meal there (I have not done this yet myself, as this is like grocery shopping for me so i take it home... but i have seen lots of people in there enjoying their meals!) I have seen some complain about the prices, but if you know the quality of what you are getting (local, organic), then you would realize these are very fair prices! If I have ever wanted to request something or had a slight issue, Sprouts has always been more than happy to accommodate. Thank you Sprouts for providing great service and food options to the community! You will see me again soon! Gluten free, Dairy free, or Flexitarian, check them out!”
“Ordered the 4 piece chicken with fries and beans. The chicken was delicious and fried to perfection and beans were fine but the fries were reheated and inedible. I was surprised because I was told I had a 5 minute wait so they could make the fries. The next time won’t order fries. Shame because the chicken was good.”

“AP Pizza Shop isn’t your average pizza joint — it’s a fresh take on the classic neighborhood pie shop. From the crisp Endive & Apple Salad (with Montasio cheese and cider vinaigrette) to the decadent white pizza topped with whipped ricotta and truffle honey, every dish feels intentional and elevated.
The crust strikes that perfect balance of crisp and chewy, and the menu’s mix of New York– and Sicilian-style pies keeps things interesting. You can grab a slice at the counter or make it a full sit-down experience. It’s approachable, creative, and just different enough to stand out in Bethesda’s dining scene.
If you love pizza but want something a little more thoughtful — this spot nails it.”
“The absolute BEST Friday night! On a whim we found ourselves at Tacombi…the food was scrumptious, drinks delicious and service warm and friendly. Brian our server was sweet and attentive. Great job Tacombi!!!”
