“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

We also tried the Sashimi Sampler, which was a fantastic way to try a range of different fish. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the Green Tea Ice Cream, which was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. Our experience at Zeppelin was truly extraordinary! “The sushi at Takumi Japanese Bistro & Bar was fresh and nicely prepared. The salmon nigiri had a clean flavor, and the spicy tuna roll had just enough heat without being buried in sauce. The chicken gyoza was another good choice, with crisp bottoms and a savory filling. I liked that the menu had more than just sushi, so there were plenty of options for the table. Service was pleasant, although things slowed down a little once the restaurant became busier. Overall, a satisfying Japanese meal in Bethesda.“

The chicken katsu is cooked perfectly, crunchy outside and tasty inside but not dry. The sushi is amazing, I had the spicy tuna which had a good kick to it and the daily special which was the Goldfish Roll today. GOLDFISH ROLL WAS AMAZING!! “This place was an amazing find. We had 5 or 6 rolls and they were all really, really good. The pricing is excellent, especially compared to some of the other sushi places we frequent. It's a small space and we sat at the bar, but it makes up for mediocre atmosphere with great food and service. If they offered an IPA their score would be even higher. We will definitely be back. Oh, and there is plenty of free surface parking, super easy.“

We also really like the service and the food at their location in Tysons Corner, though the space is a little tight and on two floors.

Bethesda is my least favorite location and won’t be going back because of the service.“

The pick up did take about 10 min longer than expected so I recommend adding in buffer time, but the food was delicious and worked perfectly for the lunch party I was taking it to. Reasonable price, aesthetic, and exceeded my expectations!“

“Kema offers the best maki/handrolls in unique styles in Maryland. We are lucky to have Kema in Cabin John and do not need to drive up to Gaithersburg. My recommendation is black magic! Lunch bento is always special. Don't forget having parfait for dessert.“

“No frills hole in a wall place. Great and welcoming staff. Great service. First time here and I got the spring garden roll and my friend and I split the green bamboo roll. One of the only places that I have been too that offers more than 1 type of veggie roll; plenty of veggie maki rolls. Rolls are large and they are generous with the filling and toppings. Got a bottled green tea. They do not serve alcohol. They accept credit card. I will absolutely be returning and telling everyone I know about this place. Next to Great shopping and there is plenty of parking!

One suggestion is to have a bottle of Sriracha on hand just to add a bit of spice to the veggie rolls.“
