“We love speciation!! So much so, that my now husband and I went on our first date there. So when it was time to find a wedding venue, we reached out to see if it was possible to host it at Speciation. Thankfully Mitch and the crew said yes, and we had literally the best party ever.

When I say working with the specation team for our wedding was a breeze, I mean it. Any questions I had was answered quickly and with detail. The day of the wedding Jane and Carly took such good care of us and all of our guests. They handled our crew with grace and everyone had a great time. We were able to get into the venue early to do all the set up so that we could have a few hours of peace before the big day started. It was a beautiful space to have our wedding and we are so thankful we did.

We also choose to have the team make us a wedding beer. We got to chat with Mitch for the ideas we had and he brought them to life. We went with a hot toddy inspired beer. They even let us submit our own label for the beer. It was a great gift for our guests, to have on tap during the wedding, and have some extras to drink in our first year married.

“This is hands down the most underrated taqueria in Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas – a true hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. The menu is refreshingly simple, offering a selection of tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, and chilaquiles, but it’s all you need. The tortillas are handmade, and the meats are full of flavor, tender, and juicy. Tacos come with the traditional toppings of chopped onions and cilantro, and let me tell you, no taco is complete without its perfect companion – salsa! This place takes salsas seriously, offering a range of bold, flavorful options that pack real spice (and there’s something for every spice preference). “Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“I live north of this Crumbl and do not get into Grand Rapids often. I was recently visiting Milwaukee and my sister introduced me to Crumbl. The next time I was near GR we made certain to pick up some cookies and brought a treat to my elderly mum-in-law. My favorite is the lemon cookies.“

“Just tried this place for the first time on labor day. They were the only brew spot opened on this day to my understanding. Super 5 stars hands down. ✨
I love trying new brew and food and my my... the deviled eggs were made and presented in such a way I haven't seen deviled eggs before. I tried the pork slider and it was to die for?
I liked the cute urban atmosphere. Sarah was the first employee to walk up to my table as I had one other guest with me. She came up so quick I love the attentiveness. Then next we had Michelle approach us with a big ol smile that made me smile. At that point I wasn't sure who our server was and didn't care I loved the energy already. Morgan turned out to be our waitress and she's so sweet. Great service, tips/help on the menu for taste of savory and brew. She did wonderful trying to mark where my taste in ? was and brought out samples to my liking. Except one lol but that one was out of curiosity on my own. On top of that, I wasnt having a great day and stepping out to try new grub and ? with good company made me feel better, then Morgan being attentive, thoughtful and courteous in all ways made my evening much better.

Service: There were two people working. They were decently busy, and the two were hustling! But they were happy to take the time to give local recommendations. They were happy we were there.

Beer: Decent. It wasn’t our favorite in the area, but certainly enjoyable.

Seating: We sat at the bar and the seating was uncomfortable.

Burgers are cooked exactly how you order, so you don't have to underestimate done ness. The toppings were all fresh, even the lettuce.

Pretty good amount of fries that looked dark, but were perfect.

Can't find anything to complain about, even with Artprize, bathrooms were clean.
