“It's rare to find a brewery with equally great beers and great food--Greyline delivers! We ordered a couple of flights and liked the Mosacca, Fade, and Hopsicle the most. For an app, we ordered the homemade cheese dip (they also have free popcorn), which was good. For our food, we ordered the Jive Chicken and Foghorn Blue (homemade potato salad!) sandwiches. They were both outstanding!! Great, easy to talk to and informative staff. Great experience, we'll be back!!“

“I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“

“I had such a great experience at Crumbl cookies today.
It was my cheat day for the month and I had been CRAVING. A soft cookie. I decided on Crumbl since it had been a while.
I went in and the store was clean, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, and the employee that helped me was really nice. I didn’t know what flavor to get and I didn’t want to get something and be disappointed, and jokingly told the employee that it would literally ruin my whole day if I took a risk and ended up not liking it. 💀🤣 which I mean is kind of true. So I asked which one was his favorite which was the Oreo one. I got it, waited maybe two minutes. And then a different employee handed me my cookie with a big smile on her face! I told her necklace was so pretty! Because it reminded me of lord of the rings.
Anyway, When I got to the car I opened the box, snapped a pic for the gram, then took a bite. It was SO good!!!! 😊😭🩷
10/10 will return for my next cheat day.

“If you know me you know I rarely go out to eat. I don’t even have a microwave and I don’t eat anything in packages. So I eat very healthy for around 19 years now. I enjoy this place so much I’ve been there twice in a week, and purchased 22 meals from their weekly package meals. “Hubby and I decided for our anniversary to unplug and explore Grand Rapids dessert shops. Gaby’s Gourmandise skyrocketed to the top spot and stayed there! When the last keylime pie sold right before us, Gaby stepped up and created one right in front of our eyes. Letting us sample another filling as we waited. Each dessert we got was so fresh, light and airy and punched with flavor! I can’t pick a favorite… the frasier amazing, the keylime transports you and the fruit tart tastes like you just picked the fruit. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. They’re kind, thoughtful, and good humans, the sort of people you want to be friends with. You can put your feet up here and just be yourself. It’s something to write home about, with interesting flavors, delicious and unexpected combinations (even for this foodie). They are known for their sours, but their slushies are extraordinary and I love their NA options. I always find something I love here, and not just one something, many somethings. Speciation is the place to meet friends or to come and work or to make new friends or to play trivia. There’s even a patio with lawn games. Speciation is the place to come in Grand Rapids, whether you’re from here or visiting for the weekend. It’s just right.“

Additionally, everyone at the wine cellar was so friendly and so helpful. Though very sweet, I loved their recommendations, and I’m so glad I bought bottles to share of their peach Spumante. They did offer a discount if you buy 4+ bottles. Also, loved hearing that their wines support local MI farmers as all the fruit used for the fruit wines comes from MI farms.“

Seems wise to also offer a meatless patty substitute for burgers, an easy thing to keep stocked in the freezer.
I know allergen friendly offerings aren't the main priority for many places, but some very basic options would be helpful 😅“
